Stayed here one night. Beds were super comfy, it was difficult getting out of bed! I didn't think room service was too expensive since the food and coffee were pretty good. The place is VERY clean and the staff were nice and accommodating.
Minus 1 star for making guests pay $14 for parking...pretty tacky!
Plus side: The Horror Screen Writers Guild Convention was going on (awesome!), fair price, killer Bath & Body Works sample size shampoos/conditioners, soft beds & clean.
Down side: PARK ACROSS the street (it is $11, not $14) I was really PO'd that they make GUEST pay for parking, the beds were so soft it hurt my neck, and the food prices for breakfast delivered to your room is ridiculous.
Like the hotel but wont likely go back because the parking. L A M E

I scored a Priceline deal for this hotel. It's a pretty nice Marriott too, very modern decor and with an open-air main entrance (instead of an overhang or canopy). Nice for enjoying the California sun... bad if it ever rains. Unfortunately for me, I stayed when it rained, so I was thoroughly drenched getting from the drive to the door.... something I never thought about and took for granted before.
Anyway, the rooms are very nice, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The room was also pretty nice. I'm not sure about paying the rack rates here for a personal stay, but it's convenient for business travelers, being directly across the street from the airport. The Burbank Airport Metrolink station is nearby and within walking distance. It also has convention space and is probably the nicest hotel in the immediate airport area.
Parking is a pain, but charging for overnight parking in a major city isn't uncommon. If you don't want to pay for parking, use the same Internet you used to access Yelp and find a hotel that doesn't.
NOT BAD!!!!
Hotel just went through some major renovations this past year and is located directly next to the airport. Parking can be a hassle, the hotel shares itslot with neighboring convention center but everything else about the hotel makes up for this. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Loved the spacious, redone lobby with a pretty descent restaurant next door. The gym was great with a seperate cardio and weight/ machine room. There were at least 30 cardio machines available, that's the most I've seen in a hotel. Really enjoyed my room with its suite style seperated bed and living room area. The flat screen TV had a media hub to connect your laptop or other peripherals. I'll admit, one of the best Marriotts I have stayed at.
The Burbank Marriott is the home of the HDEXPO-Creteasphere Entertainment Technology show coming up November 4-5, 2009. They have redone the hotel and conference area. If you need a place to stay in Burbank in the next week check out this discount.

I will be staying during part of the conference so I will check back in with how it is to stay here.
This review is only on the pool section of the hotel and part Daily Grill. Came here to celebrate my friends bday on a Saturday night. Everyone was hanging out by the pool behind the Daily Grill. The restaurant (including its bar) was empty by 10pm so I don't know if It was closed or it just sucks. Anyways, I walked to the back and they have a really cool poolside lounge area with fire pits in the middle of each section. They allowed us to bring our own booze since one of the guys new the owner of the hotel. We were also able to order food and/or drinks from the bar. Bad thing was that they closed at 11pm but they let us stay until midnight. LAME!!!
If you park in front of the Daily grill, they'll validate parking for 2 hrs and I believe it was about $2 for every 30min after that. Otherwise you can park near the hotel for $14 a day. F that!
We went here for a weekend getaway and loved it! The hotel was very nicely decorated, nice entry way and check in, and nice rooms. We only paid $96 a night and it was really worth it. Just across from the airport and quite a few fast food/coffee places across the street.
Minus 1 star for being there the same weekend as a gay & lesbian convention. A little disturbing and of course we got stuck with a view of the convention center the whole weekend. Also, they charge $14 a day for parking and there is no free internet access in the room. Either have to pay $14 for 24 hours or go down to the lobby for the free access.

Nicely remodeled - spacious rooms and great view of the airport. And Fry's if you're into looking at single story electronics superstores.
The lobby and convention space appeared nicely redone and i had no complaints about my stay here. The pictures in the lobby were vintage photos of the area...kinda cool.
If you follow my reviews, you probably know I stay in a lot of hotels, and a lot of those are part of Marriotts' brands. This Marriott, which used to be a Hilton, has been undergoing remodeling this summer, which should be near completion by now. It needed sprucing up.
I stayed during the process, but my room and lobby areas weren't affected too much. This hotel is right near the Burbank Airport, a small gateway that many in the Valley to Pasadena prefer over LAX for easier access.
The hotel is slightly below most full Marriott's standards, but about right for for the price. It is a business person's hotel for sure. There is nothing remakable or notable about it. It isn't large or small. It feels more like a Courtyard by Marriotts.
The best thing about it is probably the Elite lounge, if you are a frequent guest of Marriott properties. It has nice hors d'oerves after a busy day, a place where you can relax with a drink and snacks, watch TV, and get attentive service from the young woman who is a nursing student that works evenings there. The same for breakfast in the morning. After stopping here to unwind, go search Yelp for a local eatery.

On the outside it doesn't look like much, but after you park and walk towards the hotel you can tell it was newly renovated. The staff was nice upon arrival. The rooms came newly remodeled equipped with LCD TV's always a nice touch. Free wifi in lobby and outside sitting area. The tables had tiny built in fire pits, was thinking about roasting marshmallows, didn't know if it was allowed, probably not. But I think they only had one pool area. Didn't bother asking.
Enjoyed our stay, don't let the exterior fool you, be surprised when you pull up and park.
Eh. After reading the other reviews, I see this so-called remodel has been going on for quite some time now. I guess the rooms are finished, but to be honest they aren't really anything more special than your average Courtyard. The bathrooms could really use some vent fans, but I guess they are putting any extra funds toward the lobby or whatever they are doing that makes obnoxious noise all day.
This place is kind in the middle of nowhere. Plan on driving anywhere you need to go and paying an obnoxious $15/day parking fee. Airport across the street is noisy. Make sure when you make your reservation that you get a guarantee on your room type. We did, but many in front of us checking in were mad when they were told all the King rooms were sold out.
Room service gave all three of us in the room food poisoning and I won't go into the details of that disaster. I would absolutely recommend against the hotel's Daily Grill and the room service - since you will be driving all over anyway, it's a great opportunity to check out LA's awesome foodie scene.
We were here to do the late-night TV rounds and when we come back again, we will not stay here. It was no more than adequate and I would do my best to find a better Burbank hotel.

A few months ago, this near-airport hotel was a Hilton. It's now a Marriott, and has the same faults as the Hilton: not too many amenities, tired furnishings in the rooms, etc. They advertise a remodel for Summer 2007. I'd love to hear what they have planned, as I'll probably be coming here once a year for conventions.
It has a gigantic parking lot which, believe it or not, can actually fill up by conventioners and those parking near the airport. It's $8 a day if you're staying here, more if you're not.
I hope to add another star after the remodel.
Addition Dec 9th: Well, I stayed there in late Nov, and not much has changed. The internet was impossible to get from your room, but the front desk nicely took the charge off the bill. I've stayed here at least 10 times over the years, and they never had free internet from the Business Center (just off the front desk), but they did this time -- cool! Lots of construction going on in the lobby. Their remodel, due to be finished summer 2007, obviously isn't done yet.

This used to be one of my favorite hotels ever. I used to go to this hotel for two cons and a dance per year before they all moved on to other venues. I found the place to be very clean and have an abundance of convention space. I also really liked the room layout and enjoyed the area.

Great location...just right across from the Bob Hope International Airport; close to major freeways; close to many great restaurants and bakeries. Our first night was horrible; the bed had a 2-inch hair on the bed like it was intentionally placed there. The front desk sent a bellman for replacement sheets and comforters. As a 5-month pregnant woman, he expected me to remove the dirty beddings and make my own bed. Makes me think I shouldn't have left my home cuz I make my own bed anyways. My second morning, I literally jumped out of bed because I thought there was someone else in the room with me. I totally heard the guests movements next door - from his wake up call, conversations, bathroom use etc. After 2nights of unsatisfactory stay, we were moved to a different room which had glass topped furniture that broke my son's skin after bumping into it.
After giving them a feedback, their resolution was to buy me breakfast on my next stay.....Why would I want to eat in the hotel when there are great & fine restaurants in the area? I wouldn't have any reason to come back and stay for free breakfast. A free 2 night stay for the two miserable nights we've had would sound more enticing. But breakfast, forget it. We could have stayed at the Red Roof Inn and have gotten the same experience as our experience at the Marriott with dirty sheets and crappy service. Parking is not free. The staff explained the airport had control over the parking lot, $14/day.
We chose the Marriott because it's Marriott and it's a convention center. Our expectations were high.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Anaheim which was under renovation at that time. They offered complimentary breakfast (coffee, juices, muffins, fruits); staff were friendly and best of all did not hear any noise from construction!
Mr. Bill Marriott, your people don't understand how to keep your customers happy.
$51 on priceline and the airport is right across the street. All I wanted was a place to sleep where I could wake up an hour before my flight and still have time to gas up and return the rental car.
