Scot Nery is the business. He's unique, talented and that rare commodity in Los Angeles -he's a genuine down to earth good guy. I did not know what to expect when I first saw him perform but I was blown away. He's funny, charming, pretty darn hansom and incredibly gifted. He's the genuine article. Watch out for him -he'll be around for a very long time.

I know Scot from way back in the day (like New Orleans back in the day and improv at the Climate back in the day.) He's a funny, funny, weird, funny dude. I'd go see his show anytime and for any price (under $20...)
Go support Scot, he's worth it! -

HA HA HA!! Scot was in San Francisco doing smartly funny sassy cooking shows. Hmmmm. Comedy Cooking Show? Count me in! The theme that night was taking the kids on a driving vacation TO THE MOON!! What kinds of foods would you pack so no one misses McDonald's? Scot's Homemade Space Sticks, Tangria (tang and red wine) Moon Cookies and Fruit Roll-up Missiles.
Scot used audience participation/tasting, masterful juggling and a goofy unique, hysterical point of view to make the 90 minute show thoroughly enjoyable.
I'm subscribed to Scots email updates and after hearing that he was hired to entertain jugglers at a convention, I knew Scot will fulfil my vision for him one day. He will be internationally known as an unrivaled comic, entertainer and major sweetheart.
GO Scot!! -

Scot Nery is the number one reason that I constantly push myself, as a performer, to put on a better show.
I'd met Scot at a juggling convention, but didn't actually get to see him perform until a few years later. By the end of his set, I was weeping with laughter. I shot gin and tonic out of my nose. It was absolutely brilliant.
Scot inspires me every time I see him, and he's a great guy to boot. Humble and hard-working, and always trying to do something better.

I just saw Scot Nery's performance at the Tour De Fat in Denver. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard and so long in my entire life. The one liners didn't stop, and he has kind of a giggling at himself Jimmy Fallon quality that is infectious. His show made me wish I were in charge of booking entertainment for...anything! So I would have the chance to hire him.

I've seen Scot perform a few times, but on 12/13/10 Scot had me laughing so hard I was in tears. I wont try to describe his act, you really had to be there!

i didn't know you could review people on yelp, but since you can i am not going to pass up the opportunity.
scot is one of my favorite acts in los angeles. i've performed in shows that he was also a part of, and gone to see shows just because he was in them. i've seen him perform no less than twenty times and it NEVER gets old. he's always on top of his very well-put-together game, and tailors his act to reflect the mood, temperament and heckling style of the audience.
if you are going to see one local live performer this year (and it's not going to be me) it should probably be scot.

Review from Autumn A.

Scot Nery is one of the most bizzare-ly entertaining individuals I have ever encountered. His wicked sense of humor is transfixing and astonishing at times....he's the guy that actually comes up with the snappy retorts and *says* them, no matter how outrageous his opinions are. He's left me gasping and speachless on so many occasions I've run out of fingers and toes to count them.

I love the pancakes flying through the air!!! His website will tell you all that you NEED to know. http://jugglegood.com/ I will tell you that he is an absolute pleasure to watch! This guy can juggle good!! HIs comedy and antics will make you happy. Very entertaining and you never know what to expect, except that you will be laughing and just intrigued on how someone can posses such amazing skills and talent. Book him so that you can get some free stuff...BUT you have to review him from his webpage!! Hint Hint Nudge Nudge

Scot Nery is one of the most unique and creative performers I've ever seen, juggler or otherwise. His fresh, brave, and offbeat approach to comedy and performance keeps the audience, by turns, riveted to his astounding feats of dexterity and howling with laughter. He's a juggler who actually gives jugglers a good name, and it's a shame there aren't more variety performers working at this level. If you have the chance, see Scot...you won't regret it!

I saw Scott Nery at "Your Town Follies" in West Hollywood. His unique style of comedy had me laughing right away. I just had to bring my friends back to watch him. How often to you get to see a some one juggle pancakes?

SCOT NERY- Here's the deal. Sarcastic girl from Boston walks into a semi broken down live studio audience room in SOMA expecting another lame ass person trying to be funny on stage in San Francisco. It happens...seriously. It NEVER HAPPENED when this boy was performing and I promise you it was not the illegal absinthe I drank prior to the show (it was illegal back then). He is just naturally funny. Smartly funny...it kinda sneaks up on you sometimes and hits in a 'damn, can I have another piece of that yummy chocolate cake' kinda way. He had a food cooking show parody act up here before he left us all behind for Hollywood. His stage presence is sublime and Scot is the reason that I restored my love of live stage performance. I still remember the Gingerbread Crack House...yeah...his idea and he's probably got much better material now that he's in the entertainment think tank of the United States. I miss you Scot Nery.

Scot is not your run-of-the-mill comedian or prop comic...no wait...he is, but what he brings to this art form is a brilliant sense of timing and creativity...even if he's not trying. I once saw him juggle while he was on fire...or maybe that was someone else, but either way he is a genius, and I can only hope to one day understand what voices he hears in his head...cause they're telling him the right things to do.
