About a year ago a friend of mine who lives in the City of LA was complaining about a raised tree root on her street that had caused the entire street to lift. I volunteered to call the City of Los Angeles and although the request was backlogged and took a long time to address they did eventually make it out and grind down the problem.
This morning I sent another request in via their online submission form http://www.lacity.org/... regarding some terrible potholes both southbound and northbound on Lincoln between Fiji Way and the Culver Overpass in the Marina Del Rey area. I am proud to report that within hours I've received an email with a service request number! I know the City's resources are limited and the problem won't be addressed overnight, but given some time and patience I'm sure it will be corrected soon.
Good job City of LA... as one of the largest Cities anywhere I'm glad to see you're on top of things!
UPDATE: As of 5/12 I noticed that the potholes had all been filled. I didn't use the roads for one week so potentially they could have been filled even sooner... WOW!!!!!! That's excellent response time!
I drive throught a very rich neighborhood after dropping off my wife at work ....anyways these are mansions and when I first drove through I said to myself wow these street are nice or at least nicer than were we live .... so last week I drove through the same street and I could not get through for they were repaving it , I wonder if the people that live there are paying for it or am I and you?
