Los Amigos Restaurant

Inflation has yet to hit the prices at this spot. I love ordering menudo whenever I see it on the menu at a Mexican restaurant, and this place DOES NOT PLAY ABOUT THAT TRIPE BROTH RATIO Y'ALL. Had me kicking my heels giddy and all.

Their chips and salsas are also quite addictive. Came here with coworkers and we polished off two baskets easy.

I go here for lunch with people from work every few weeks, and I've never had a bad meal here. The tacos are especially good, and the salsa is delicious! The servers are always friendly, and the prices are reasonable. They usually get busy during lunch, but the noise is always low, and the ambiance is casual.

I ordered through grubhub for pick up. I wasn't too impressed with the food when I got home to eat it. It was just ok. It's not something I would order again.

Real Mexican food. Made quick and delicious. Locals spot. It's not easy to find a good taco in a brick and mortar place. This is the place for tacos.

I got the enchiladas mix. One of each flavor. Delicious. Deb had the fajitas. So good! Deep flavors on the whole plate.

One of my favorite taco places to visit one in the Ruskin area. The food is great. The service is exceptional and the ambience and the restaurant is one of a kind. The manager is always super friendly when I go there. Typically I order my food to go, but this time I ate inside of the restaurant. I do not regret a moment, and really enjoyed Sitting inside with friends. I had the three taco combo which came with one side. My tacos were very delicious. For my side I had refried beans. My favorite item on their menu is refried beans, It is well seasoned and absolutely delicious. We also had the the guacamole, rice and the flautas. Every item was delicious and well prepared. Can't wait to visit the next time I'm in the area.

Sent hubby for takeout dinner on
9/25/23. I had my usual steak tacos with cilantro, onions and cheese. He had same. I usually order 3 he got me 4. He got himself 4 also. The bill was $23.65 plus he gave a $5 tip. Tacos are good; meat is flavorful. However, they were so skimpy I was thankful he got me an extra one. 8 tacos, no rice no beans, no chips. Nothing. $30!! Barely any meat, tortillas I'm pretty sure come from Aldi. I understand inflation. I get it! However, we will no longer go back! Here's what they looked like! Very disappointing!

Met a couple friends visiting the area and this was half way distance between us. Complementary homemade tortilla chips (thick) and 3 sauces were served promptly, but it wasn't salsa like we're accustomed to, one mild and 2 extremely hot. We love fajitas, and the Fajita mix did not disappoint. It included shrimp, chicken, steak, and veggies, with a side of rice and charro beans. One order was plenty for two to share, and we actually didn't finish it. This was so sizzling hot, I had to take a video so it could be heard, but apparently, videos can't be posted on a review. There's plenty of pictures of the fajitas here though. The service was exceptional, and the ambience was colorful Mexican, with every wall completely covered in murals and colorful furniture as well. The deduction of one star was due to no ice tea available, and no dessert either.

Just another Mexican restaurant. Trying to find a good place close to home. This one is Just average.

I really enjoyed the food and my experience at Los Amigos restaurant. I visited for this first time this afternoon for lunch and ordered a tamale along with 3 shrimp tacos (1 flour, 1 corn, 1 hard shell). The service was prompt and friendly. The waitress not only brought out a few hot sauce options but explained the level of heat and flavor. The chips were so fresh and yummy!
