Well, having been here several times with friends and family I can say EVERYONE has enjoyed the meals they have had.  From the Los Altos Burger (one of the cleanest, best burgers ever) to the salmon, pork or steaks its pretty friggin amazing.  The best part of this place is the drinks.  My lord

I asked for a clean bushmill's and i get about half a glass of the stuff.  The jack and cokes, 7n7s and the gin n tonic's will knock your socks off.  So be careful!  The staff is always spot on and really nice.  The bartenders are very cool and know their stuff.  Great for hooking it up, recommendations and just chit chat.  Overall one of the best places ever.

An old boss of mine took me out to lunch here on a weekday.  I was amused by the tables full of old rich dice-playing men who had just finished 19 holes.  Lots of dark wood.  Lots of top shelf liquor.  Fancy leather chairs...you get the idea

Food was amazing here.  New York steak sandwich was the best piece of meat I've had in a couple months -- not an ounce of fat -- and the flavor and tenderness were perfect.  Carrot salad was a little bit weird, but good nonetheless.  Molten lava cake was heavenly.

Everything costs beaucoup here, so unless you are 1) a high roller or 2) a guest of a member, I'd probably stay away

My family belonged here for like 30 years!  It is beautiful since they did the remodel awhile back.
I remember as a kid growing up, all you would have to do is give them your club number, and you could get whatever you wanted! ha ha
My grandmother and I ate many lunches at the club and many hamburgers at the pool.  At Easter and Christmas they would always have events for all of the kids.  I haven't been here for awhile, but have many memories from all the years we spent there!

My family and I have been members at the LAGCC for many years.  I love the place and have tons of happy memories there.  The golf course is GORGEOUS and was recently redone.  The tennis facilities are wonderful and always open.  There are two pools, a lap pool and a swimming pool.  The food is great both at the pool and in the club house.  There is nothing bad about this place, except that most people who belong there are conservatives...  But hey, nothing's perfect.

From one of the many weddings that I gone to this year, my friends held their wedding reception at Los Altos Country Club after getting married at Stanford.

Wow, I was surprised by how good the quality of the food was and the swift serving of all the food at one time per table, each piping hot. This was the most professional and timely catering I had seen in awhile.

The atmosphere outside was great with an open patio for drinks, followed by a dinner inside and dancing. The dinner had one of the best vegetarian pastas I'd ever had- a penne with cream and peas, carrots and beans done very simply that melted in my mouth. The end was a wedding cake from Satura, an awesome Japanese bakery in Los Altos and Palo Alto.

If you are considering a wedding reception venue or private event, I would seriously book this place ASAP!

I have been to this place for many years. It's really great to relax and have swim meets. The food is great. Their hamburgers are oh my god so good! The restaurant by the pool is good too but I like to eat outside a little better.
