This place has new owners and it is much much better. I bought several things and I got a cold bottle of coke out of their old machine for 10 cents and they provided the 10 cents. that's fun!

I've been walking by this place on a regular basis for about a year and a half and I always assumed it was a junk shop because of the weird sign and sort of dclass name, but the gorgeous window finally lured me inside on Saturday and I was shocked to find the most incredible collection of treasures! If you are looking for anything gorgeous and special from any era, you must stop into Loot! I was especially enamored with a spectacular white lacquer art deco side board; gorgeous, richly-upholstered Louis XVI-style chairs; a lamp with a tiled mirror base and shade; antique Asian urns; I could go on and on.

very cute stuff. pretty expensive but lovely chairs and one off knicknacks. they have a wonderful policy that lets you try out a piece before buying- which is exactly what i needed to do in order to decide i wanted my nickle-covered bistro table. sounds weird, but it's hella cute.
anyway, me likey. top friendly upstanding service
