I stopped in here on my way back from hiking Mission Peak because I needed money for bridge toll and I really REALLY needed some Gatorade so that my 30 minute drive home did not result in horrible cramps and muscle spasms.

As far as Longs go, this one is pretty standard.  On the old-people smell o-meter it rates a 3/5 or perfectly average for Longs.  In any case, I digress.

I noticed "beverages" written on the back wall and headed over.  Unfortunately only Vitamin Water and Powerade were available.  Counterfeit bull s***!  I chose Powerade for the sugar calories and sealed the deal for $1.49.  With my extra $20 cash back I was now ready to cross the Dumbarton!  Except...

When driving out of town I missed 880N and instead ended up on 880S.  I blame my brain for being scrambled due to extreme exercise.   I went with it and took 237 across, so I ended up not really even needing to stop at Longs.

That sucked.

This Longs is down the street from my old neighborhood.  It's so strange what this little strip mall is now compared to what it used to be.  My old dance studio was actually there, and then it was a liquor store, and now it's a Chinese restaurant.  Crazy.

Anyhoo, I like this Longs.  I've killed a lot of time here.  I've bought oil AND coolant for my car here, very important.  

It's definitely all about the random sales.  My mom likes to buy like, 10 12 packs of 7-up product at a time here because they really do have good sales.  I was really impressed by their most recent ad for $.87 Gatorade since it's become a staple in my diet due to my new yoga obsession.  

I'll always prefer Rite Aid or Walgreens to Longs though...they seem to have more products and better merchandising.

Longs Drugs is always good for supplies and their sales are pretty good - always check the Ads before going though.

Total $24.99.  They take credit cards.

Open until 10pm.  Cross street: Warm Springs Blvd.

I'm feeling this Long's extensive selection of Burt's Bees products.  Everywhere I go to find facial regiments, all I find is burt's lip balm - never any products having to deal with the face.  This long has it all.  I've been looking for this toner for the longest time and i found it here!  They've got stuff for the hair, stuff for the face, stuff for the body, stuff for the lips...and on and on.
