I am no great fan of nature.
Getting me to a botanical garden, is something that generally involves a lot of kicking and screaming.
You put sculptures in a botanical garden, and to me, it's still a botanical garden with some stuff in it.
But the Long House somehow is different. I loved it. Mainly, it's not a botanical garden with stuff in it. It was designed from its inception to be both sculptures and garden. And it is magnificent.
The plants may be nice. I have no idea. I remember hearing that they have a lot of different kinds of grasses. Whatever. But to see sculptures in this setting, is truly a treat.
If you go, do yourself a favor, and don't leave without ringing the bells.
