LongHorn Steakhouse

Made a stop by Longhorn Steakhouse on my haul, and I have to say that this was one of the warmest visits I've ever made--compliments to a young host by the name of DJ. Being a trucker from out of town, it's never that you find a place that you will call home. He really went to ensure that I was comfortable, sharing with spot-on suggestions and local insights that only come from someone with genuine love for their town. His warm smile and enthusiastic greeting set the tone for a meal that was as comforting as it was delicious.

This is not just what you would come back to the steak for; it is the kind of hospitality personated by the exemplary service of DJ. He did not treat me like just any other customer, but genuinely with great detail and level of care, as if I were a guest--truly above and beyond. This is the place for anyone rolling through in a truck or anyone looking for a slice of home away from home: the Longhorn Steakhouse. Ask for DJ, and he will serve you with the most exemplary services that emanate from professionalism and a beaming spirit. Kudos to him and the team for making my visit memorable!

An early Thursday evening dinner where our party of five were seated within 5 or so minutes and had friendly, efficient service.

The music is a bit loud so it was difficult to hear across the table.

The crusted chicken parm, of which I had a small bite or two, and it was very tasty. Chicken breast often can become quite dry but that was not the case!

The ribs were another hit among the group. Finger licking good. Tender and all the things ribs should be.

The grilled shrimp, on the other hand, was rather unflavorful as was the rice pilaf it came with.

The baked sweet potato with no toppings, not even butter, was amazingly delicious!

I would give them 10 stars as this is always a win win place to dine! I do believe we have had nearly everything their menu has to offer!
My all-time favorite is to start with the stuffed mushrooms, then Flo Steak for dinner with a salad and baked potato. On other occasions, we opt for Parmesan crusted salmon and the chowder.
The chicken is also wonderful, as is the tortilla soup!!!!
We recently had a cheeseburger, and now I am totally convinced this place is just the best place in Surprise, Az to enjoy a fabulous meal!
Of course, we always ask for Kirstin and Jamie, two of our favorite employees there!

Usually one of our favorite restaurants in Surprise. Today was definitely an off day for them. I ordered the New York and my wife the chicken parm. My steak came out in a reasonable time, however my wife's chicken didn't come out at all. I waited about 5 minutes and then started eating my steak so it wouldn't get cold. We asked several times about her dinner and were always told it was almost done. Finally when my steak was almost done (and I shared it with her) we told the server to cancel her dinner because we were ready to go. The server told us he would put it in a to go container for her. He came back a few minutes later with a to go meal. When the bill came we were charged for the chicken parm. We felt like we were pressured into taking her dinner with us after we asked to cancel it just so the ticket could be higher.

We give everyone 3 strikes before we stop going there. This was strike one for you Longhorn.

I'll just get straight to the point. It was Easter Day and my daughter and I ordered from Longhorn Steakhouse. My 12 oz. Ribeye was extremely thin and burned on one side. The burned side is also the only side that was seasoned. We ordered the cheesecake to share and it had a very nasty sour taste that lingered and looked less then desirable. Don't advertise it comes with Pralines if you are not going to add any to your $10.95 cheesecake. I did add a tip to our final charge so for almost $50.00, I received a good baked potato and salad, the rest left a lot to. be desired. My advise is to go somewhere else.

Ordered the popular chicken strawberry salad, side of steakhouse Mac and cheese, and the fries. All were delicious!

Service was amazing the inside of the restaurant is so clean and pretty, I was impressed!

This was our first-time dining here after I signed up for their frequent dining program and received a complimentary appetizer.

There was no wait for two on a Friday night (summer in AZ is quiet) so that was great!

Our server John greeted us with bread and a smile. He quickly took our drink order and gave us a minute to look over the menu.

I tried a slice of the bread which had great flavor and was different from other steakhouse restaurants. It was almost like a honey wheat that was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The butter was tasty too!

I ordered the Wild West Shrimp (appetizer) which was so good! Spicy, crispy, tons of flavor and so much food. I paired that with a loaded baked potato but felt that wasn't cooked enough. It was good but not great.

The hubby enjoyed a half rack of ribs and a side salad with honey mustard. Sadly, they don't offer 1000 island, but the salad was large, fresh and filled with veggies & croutons.

We'd return and try a burger or their grilled shrimp, both of which looked great at other tables.

Ordered a Sprite and I got water. Ordered an appetizer, onion with honey mustard dipping sauce. I got plain mustard. My husband ordered his steak medium well....it was well done....I ordered my steak medium and I got rare. When we brought it to the waitress attention she was like it's a crap shoot on cooking the steaks. I was like maybe they just don't know how to cook them. My sweet potato was very good. Waitress took the cost of the appetizer off since we didn't like the steaks. Thanks Brooklyn. She was sweet but don't tell the customer that cooking the steaks is a crap shoot. We've been 3 times to this Longhorn on Bell road in Surprise. We will have to find another Steakhouse . Three strikes and you are out.

Came here with fiancé for dinner we try the new meal it's with bbq chicken with shrimp, fiancé said it was really good and I had the shrimp with rice and sweet potatoes mine was good as well. The service was ok because they sitter us where the ac blowing and it was so cold, told the server that it's too cold to b witted here , she didn't even bother to move us to a different table that wasn't so cold. And it was already cold outside and the ac is running. Wasn't to happy, she could of move us to a different and enjoy our meal , instead I waited till she came and I told her I wanted to be sited at a different table that I like that the ac wasn't blowing at us. The place was slow and we came around 9 and it wasn't busy at all. So I took that 1 star off...

Four of us ate here tonight. We ordered the 8 oz sirloin, pork chops, BBQ ribs and strawberry salad with chicken. Everything was delicious! Our waiter, Taylor, was outstanding. We have not had a waiter of his caliber in many years. He was extremely attentive, super sweet, friendly , polite ... we really appreciated having him for our waiter.
