LongHorn Steakhouse

We are from out of town and met friends for the evening at LongHorn Steakhouse. First and foremost, the staff was very friendly and our waitress was on spot! She was patient with our large group as we identified items to order and she was extremely attentive. Our drinks were never empty and our food came out fresh, hot and in a timely manner. Even with it being a late evening the staff also took a moment right before closing to take our picture and wish us a safe night. Great staff, great customer service and the food was really good!

Chain steakhouse with lots of steak (what a surprise) and not much of anything else. Setup to look like old Texas restaurant, with lots of wood and dim lights. Good internal decoration ideas, with food that does not live up to its promise. Steaks I had were dry and non appetizing whatsoever. Service was about average, but servings of bread were plentiful and delicious. So the theme here might be cheap steak and plentiful carbs!

Of particular note was the temperature of this establishment. It seemed that manager has a thing for cold temperatures as the restaurant was freezing during my visit, and I overheard other customers complaining. Keep in mind that I love colder settings
on air conditioner - but dining inside a refrigerator is not my cup of tea!

Came here for dinner and I will not be back. The women's bathroom was disgusting.
I started with the loaded baked potato soup which was good and for dinner I picked the 7 steak salad. I requested my meat medium and it came out very well done. It was very tough I couldn't even finish it.
Btw our server only check on us once.

So glad I got to snap this picture because clearly this is a party of nearly 30! The tables went way further than the picture shows.

This place needs new managers. They were tied up talking to employees about fantasy football while we were waiting for a check for 20 minutes finally had to get up and ask somebody where our check was! Need new managers both of them!!! Takes forever to get out of here.

Excellent food and service. We eat here all the time. Clean environment as well as clean bathrooms. We highly recommend.

Thursday evening around 6:30pm. We have loved LongHorn for years, but things change. Wanted a Delmonico steak, and they had one of the best in Houston. Sad to hear it's discontinued. Ordered salads, RibEye & Pork Chops, baked potato and their new fire grilled corn on the cob. Salads arrived quickly, but so did the entrees. When we go out for a $100.00 meal, we like to take our time. HATE having to stop eating my salad and move it aside so they can deliver the main entree. Do I finish my salad and let my steak get cold? Do I start eating my steak and abandon my salad? So we had salad bowls, entree plates, side dishes and bread crowding the table. It was like a buffet instead of fine dining. The Fire grilled corn was a disaster, overcooked and dry. Sorry LongHorn, you have too many competetors who can execute food and service professionally for $100 for two.

Went this weekend firs time at this location but everything was delicious our waitress was super friendly and checked up on us frequently and we had zero wait time we recommend getting there at least 6pm after that you will be looking at a 45 min wait but overall great location loved it .

We just ate there and had Flo's filet which was incredible. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Flavor could not have been better. But the help needs some polishing. Waitress should have asked us to check steak and see if cooked correctly. The salt shaker on table empty, we were not offered steak sauce or waters. They were nice just not trained for the little extras.
But I will say again the steaks were GREAT.

Always really good food and very sweet servers. The food is bomb!!! I like it better than salt grass but my husband doesn't lol
