I am new to the area and heard London Bob was a good place to get your haircut. I had a haircut and highlights with Kim and I love it!! She listened to what I wanted and gave me a great new do. I was nervous to try a new place but I couldn't be happier. The only negative was that I had to wait because she was running late but it wasn't bad. Everyone at the salon was professional and courteous. The price was reasonable, I thought, at $175.
I also had a lip and brow wax with Natalia. While she was good she was a little pricey so I probably won't go back to her.
Overall loved this place and will definitely go back to see Kim. -

London Bob does cheap kids haircuts. We brought our 1 year old son here for his first hair cut. Yeah I know, we probably could have cut it ourselves but my wife wanted to just go once and learn from "the pros".
Trying to cut hair while the little bugger is squirming around is tough. They have a TV + DVD player with many kids DVDs in case your kid can't sit still.
The hair cut itself was decent but they cut the front bangs in just a straight-line across so I wish they could have done more with that. They offer to save some of the cut hair in a small envelope for you to commemorate the first hair cut and also send you a nice little certificate in the mail later -- nice touches.
It's hard to knock these guys too much since it's relatively cheap for the kids' haircuts and they probably offer the service more to get the mother or father to consider being customers, if they're not already.Comment from Dawn J. of London Bob Hair Design 12/2/2011

Pam is awesome. My lil' sis has tried to get a new do for years and every time she came out of the salon with basically the same style with a slight trim. We went here together so that we could tag team the poor stylist and finally get a good cut. Pam handled the two of us with ease AND gave my sis an awesome cut and some great advice on how to manage her hair. We had a fun night, the salon itself has such a great vibe, and the wine is a very nice touch. We'll be back.

Wow, I am SO happy with my color! A few months ago, I had a really bad dye job at Silk in Courthouse. I was terrified to dye my hair again after such a terrible experience, but it was starting to grow out and I needed to get it redone. So a few weeks ago, I figured I would try London Bob.
I saw Hannah, who was really knowledgeable and helpful. She walked me through my options and we decided on a cut and color.
The cost was more than HALF what I paid at Silk, it took less time, and I felt more comfortable here. It's been a few weeks and my hair still looks great. I'm coming here from now on. -

I came here for a hair cut and drastic new color after my regular salon was having issues fitting me in. I was able to get an appointment right away and the gentleman who answered the phone was very accommodating!
My hair stylist was great. She took a look at all the pictures I had brought and gave me exactly the cut and color I was looking for. She was also incredibly friendly and I had a great time chatting with her. She did a great job selecting the color for my hair and I've gotten tons of compliments about my cut and color. The woman who shampooed my hair also did a great job.
The prices are reasonable for the area, for sure. The only reason I may not be back is because I'm moving soon and want to find a salon closer to my new home, but I'd highly recommend this place. They do a great job of making sure that you're comfortable and offering you beverages of your choice (including wine!) -

London Bob is a great salon. The staff is professional and friendly, the salon is clean, and the owners put up great seasonal decorations. I especially like the dog statues out front and their various outfits.
I see Stephen, and he always does a great job. My hair can be difficult (it's very thick and sort of wavy), but I don't think I have had a bad haircut since I started going to him. -

Karen cut my hair and was very nice, quick, and honest. She could have convinced me to dye my hair a different color, but she didn't. My hair's grown long, so I was ready to go back to a 'bob' hairstyle. She cut it perfect where it wasn't too short and didn't over-layer it either.

I have to say I've had 2 great hair cuts here by Faith, but the owners make them charge for silly stuff...like a blow dry AFTER a $70 roots treatment. They charged $37 to freaking dry my hair! I was not told about this hidden cost up front either. SOOO maddening to be nickled and dimed. Fool me once...

I like this salon, I get my hair done by Kat and I highly recommend her. She is very personable and acts like she really cares about her clients. The salon is busy and kind of small but everyone is nice and the quality is very good. Parking can be a nightmare at times.

This is a really comfortable two story hair salon. The receptionist offers you beverages while you wait and there is a good assortment of magazines available to flip through. I am partial to Pam as she was my stylist for 20 years of my life; from the age of 5 up until the point I moved to Chicago. She started out at a small shop in the closest strip mall near us and my mom and I followed her to The London Bob. I've sent a couple of friends here and they've been happy with their cuts as well. It's a bit pricey, but, as the old addage goes: you get what you pay for.

I've been to Pam 2 times now, and I just love her. She has a good eye for what kind of cut will look good on you, and I'm especially tough because I have curly hair. I will ONLY get my hair cut there from now on.

I've been to marlene, linda, and steven and they were all good but I'll say that steven is by far my favorite. He cuts my hair in such a way that it looks awesome and I don't have to style it all - i had no idea such a cut was possible. It varies a little but a cut will run you between $50-65 which isn't cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have been going to London Bob since I was about 6 (along with my older brothers and my Mom). Dawn always cut my hair at the old location, but since moving to the beautiful new shop, Gina has been doing my hair, and I just love her!
Gina has done several things with my hair: highlights, perms, dying, you name it... She even rescued my hair from an unfortunate decision in college; I dyed my hair blue, and it faded to this terrible green color. When I came home for a visit, Gina fixed it right up - it was a serious overhaul, but it looked great afterward. I have never left London Bob unhappy.
I went to college in California, and tried to find a place that I liked as well as London Bob, and a person I liked as well as Gina - with no luck. Now that I'm back in the DC area for good I can't wait to go in! -

I guess it depends on the day. The person answering the phones squeezed me in at the end of the day for Kimberly. I actually said I'd rather not because I didn't want to be the reason someone had to stay late. But they insisted it was cool. So I went and Kimberly was not mad or anything but she was completely disinterested in my haircut, talking to other hairdressers and clients. It was a terrible haircut and I'm so sad that now I guess I can't go back, because I don't know which Kimberly I would be getting. Oh, well.
