I have been to Logan's in several states so I was excited to see this one next to the hotel I was staying at. They deserve a solid three stars (which is my required minimum for an establishment if I am going to be a patron) because they are good, not exceptional but not terrible either.

I would recommend it if you want a dependable steak and salad or baked yam (they call them sweet potatoes). It's good.

Our server, Jason, was great. He definitely helped make this a 3-star experience.

The burger was okay. Wings and onion petals for an appetizer were okay. The wings weren't spicy, but they had a really unique crispy coating. The chili was okay and not spicy.

Basically, it was all...well...okay. I probably should have ordered a steak instead of a burger. Maybe next time...

I'd like to hang out at the bar during football games. And not just because I like hanging out at bars. I would think there's a fun bar crowd especially during football.

Whenever my husband goes in there, we request Jason!  He is indeed an awesome server, and takes care of us!  The food is great, and not to mention THEY HAVE SWEET TEA!  The environment is very warming and inviting.  I love going here to eat! The location is great, as it is surrounded by wonderful stores, so shop your heart out, and then come here to relax and eat great food!!

This place sucks.  The food is probably the worst for a chain.  Too greasy, the steak I got the last time looked nothing like they had in the display case.  And then we spent the rest of the afternoon with grumbling stomachs.  Pass on this one.

West Monroe, LA, has the best Logan's so far. The steak was tender at this--the El Paso, TX--location, but the seasoning lacked punch. My wife loved her salmon, so this location rates at least a moderate score.

Being that I worked for a restaraunt for many years both as a server and as a hostess, Im very critical on those aspects. We visited on a busy Saturday evening, our hostess was very polite and better yet our server was attentive and quick. I ordered the chicken wing sampler and mushrooms for appetizers. These are some of the best wings Ive had in a long time! I would definetly order this again!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love a really good steak!  Not mediocre, not so so, but really good grade A beef. I ve been to the best and to the worst and I have to say that this is the worst! I know steaks folks. No bull.

One would think that you can't go wrong with steak in Texas, but not everything is Texas rosey. Where shall I start?  They did not have the beer we wanted nor the wine? Then who runs out if prime rib 2 hours after opening?!?  And this is a steakhouse?!!  After my disappointment sets in I settle for the filet mignon with baked potato and broccoli. So sad. :(. Filet was part medium and part well done ( how that happens I don't know) But it was the toughest filet mignon I've ever had. Not to mention a baked potato that had 3 oz of sour cream and 2 bacon bits on top with  skin that was harder than the sole of my boots.

I definitely do not recommend this place for steak and would stick with Texas roadhouse instead. The only reason I gave this place the two stars was for the bread which is out of this world!!  I would come back here just to have a cup of coffee and their fresh out the oven rolls that were fluffy like clouds and more delicious than any other bread I've ever tasted.

So long Texas and so long logans... A disappointment.

I stop at Logan's each time I am in El Paso. I see that it did not receive as many good reviews, as I expected. Being that I am not a huge red meat eater - it was better than just "bleh" to me. I really enjoy their rolls for they are nice and warm - tasty too!!  I have had their salads (good), tried a bite of their steaks (just ok) and their shrimp (succulent). I would go back and try something new when I am back in El Paso

I thought it was the weirdest thing when we first walked in here that the entire floor was completely littered with peanut shells. There are barrels of peanuts around the restaurant, buckets of peanuts on the tables and throwing the shells on the floor is what you're supposed to do.
We've been here several times and each time has been good, no complaints but I must say that it has never been anything overly impressive. The food is tasty, the portions are HUGE, the ribs are super tender and the price is very reasonable. I'd highly recommend this place as a pleasant casual dining area. Something especially before a movie or after an afternoon of shopping (since the shopping center and theater are really close by). Definitely give it a try if you're in the area or look up to see which Logan's is closest to you.
Oh! About the peanuts . . . I couldn't resist once and we asked the waiter about them. He said that the floor is swept up and mopped COMPLETELY each night (I'd HATE to have that job). The next day, people start throwing peanut shells as soon as they walk in. I went there for lunch once and have to say that there were hardly any shells on the floor at that time.

I really don't like this place. It's not the service or the restaurant itself but it's just plain. It doesn't really give you any excitement or a feeling of "I'm coming back to this place next week". I think the peanuts are a pretty cool concept and they do give the restaurant a different feel. I myself can't eat peanuts by themselves like that before a meal or even during a meal so I really don't contribute to the peanut mess. On the plus side they are at a great location and deserve you to try it out at least once, you might like it.
