What lovely accomodations!
Clean, organized, lot's of extras and the absolutely best staff I've ever encountered.

Also extremely Wheelchair hospitable. I would not only would stay again...I'd move in if I could.
Our walk in price, after a terrible night in another hotel, was only $20 more than the midrange hotel we'd been assigned.

When my annonying family comes to town, this is where I send them.  They have beautiful rooms and allow dogs, which is really cool.
In fact, the more I think about it...I'll take the dogs and let the family stay in luxury.  At least the dogs don't incessantly talk!
This hotel is always really nice and I have never heard anything but amazing reviews from everyone who stays there.

My trip to Denver last week was so wonderful and that was in big part to Hotel Loews.  I was treated like a celebrity, could be because of my gorgeous dog who they paid more attention to than me!
It was so clean and comfortable and they helped me find so many places that I explored.  Even cool places for me and the fluff ball to go.
Even the restaurant was great.
I can't wait to go back to Denver (cool city) and stay at this fun hotel.

Suburb hotel for business.  Great value for the price.

Pro - The rooms were set up by somebody who had stayed in hotels.  Ample plugs reachable from the desk.  Everything works.  Exceptionally helpful staff.  My rental car lacked a scraper and my sport coat and credit card were no match for the thick layer of ice that hid under the 8" of fresh snow.  A doorman saw my dilemma and rushed out to the car with two scrapers and helped me clear the mess.  Without him I might have been there until spring.

Con - The neighborhood isn't great for walking around.  but the nearby drug store, Office Depot, and Whole Foods make up for the lack of charm.

Great service in the lobby and restaurant.

Housekeeping was so so...took forever to service my room.  I was out from like 11-4 and my room still wasn't done...

Good value via Expedia, location was so-so.  Close to Cherry Creek shopping, sort of mid way between the Tech Ctr and Downtown.

I had a great experience here last fall. We stayed for approximately 3 days, drove to Red Rocks Ampitheater for concerts and had a great time. The place was clean and the service was good. I would stay again.

I can't really review this Hotel because I didn't stay here while I was in Denver. (got the aero bed at the sis-in-law's house) So, why am I reviewing you ask? Well, we had a pre-grad dinner w/the fam in one of their smaller, private banquet rooms the first night we were in Denver. The service was Ab Fab and the food was pretty darn tasty. I had creamy sweet potato soup (sounds gross but it was good!), herb encrusted salmon (which was perfectly cooked) and for dessert, this odd ginger flavored sorbet/souffle thing. All of it was very good and the servers kept my wine glass full at all times--which makes me happy.

I was impressed with this hotel. Who knew Loews had hotels? It's a little ways from the city, which I did not like, but the shuttle was convenient if you wanted to go to the Cherry Creek Mall or downtown around the convention center. The beds were extremely comfortable. I instantly wanted to jump in once I saw them. My family ended up extending our stay here because we enjoyed it so much. The concierge was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations. I was surprised at how good the hotel restaurant was. Very impressive caesar salad with herb-crusted salmon. My mom still raves about the salmon to this day. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and accomodating. One guy even helped me carry my luggage out...probably b/c he wanted me to get out of the room so he could clean it. :)

The Denver Loews is a great example of a nicely updated 70's hotel, where the original "Italian" theme has been retained, but gently renovated and modernized (as opposed to a ghastly chi chi makeover). The location is convenient for DU, Cherry Creek and the charming Old South Gaylord district (although the immediate environs are more mundane - auto dealers, Wild Oats etc). The rooms (and beds) are very comfortable, and the staff and restaurant (Tuscany) absolutely outstanding. Altogether unexpectedly pleasant and affordable in South Central Denver
