I really wanted to like this place. I wanted to have a waterfront wedding. However, I was stood up by the event coordinator. I was 5 minutes late because the place was hard to find. No call, nothing! and she LEAVES! She had my number.. wtf.

The assistant was nice enough to take me around. However when I asked if they cut the weeds in the lake before the event, they said no. They only cut a 10 ft "window" so you can see the lake behind the 20 ft weeds. Who wants to look at weeds in their photos?

The packages are reasonable and you get the whole place.

I came here on mother's day with my boyfriend and his family. The boyfriend and I were running late and he forgot his clubs so the guy at the golf shop let him borrow some clubs for the day. I had so much fun driving around the golf car while he and my father-in-law golfed. We then were treated to brunch which pretty much sucked, but I wasn't there for the food so they loose no stars. The course is beautiful. We sat by the pound as we ate brunch.
As the name states it's in Lockeford not Lodi.

Used to frequent Lockeford Springs quite a bit with a good friend of mine.  Love this course, just enough challenge without being too much to handle, not one for the newbie!  Fees are pretty good on weekdays, pretty expensive on the weekends.  Carts have GPS which is pretty nice always knowing the distances from the green etc.. can be a bit distracting though.  I would definitely recommend to the avid golfer or even the weekend warrior.

This is in regards to their event planning:
My friend had her wedding here, and let's just say it was far from a professional experience (and I've helped with a lot of wedding planning in various settings, cities, and countries).
Things that should be improved
aka
Things that would make me cry if I was the bride:
1)They didn't do a tasting of the food before the big day.
2)They used PAPER PLATES for the cake
3)The tables were set with PLASTIC CUPS
4)The champagne glasses set out were dirty... and when I mentioned this to the wedding planner, the glasses were wiped with windex and papertowels
5)The place was not swept (had left over decorations from xmas and leaves on the ground) so the family had to sweep everything beforehand which delayed setup
6)A bunch of the lights were out... not romantic-like
7)The Lockeford Springs event coordinator was handsoff at the rehearsal apart from rushing everyone to finish up.
8)Some things that were okay even up to the rehearsal (like our friend's dog being in the wedding) were restricted THE NIGHT BEFORE the wedding and major adjustments had to be made.
9)The place was cold, and they charged extra just to heat it. what a luxury!
10)The place was to be light with white xmas lights (provided by the bride and groom) but on the day off the wedding, they were told that it would not be allowed because it might take too much power.
11)Perhpas because of all the odd light being out, in the ceremony and reception areas, it was just dark in patches.
12)The cake cutting was not in either of the main two rooms, so half of the guests couldn't find it when it was going on... and even if they had been able to find it, the room was too small to fit them.
13)As the food was being served there was a noticeable skimping on the portions... noticeable as in a person was shouting not to give so much.. and there really wasn't much on any of the plates to begin with. Shockingly, there was none leftover, so its safe to assume that this buffet was not copious.
14)Even the headtable had mis-matched champagne glasses.

That said, there WERE some plusses:
The wait staff and bar staff at Lockeford Springs were delightful and extremely helpful.
