TOTALLY the BEST PEDIATRICIAN I found for my daughter!!! My sister actually found her during a photo shoot she did for her.
I needed a new doctor cuz we just moved to the city @ 2 1/2 yrs ago and have stuck with Dr. Maria Osmena ever since and possibly until my daughter is 18...( I really don't care if we move again and have to travel...) I have had many doctors and none can compare to her care, service and professionalism. Not only that, she is SUPER CONVENIENT (during mall hours and weekends plus one time I had to see her in an emergency situation cuz my daughter was sent home from school with a HIGH fever and I just went straight to her clinic w/ no appointment and she was able to accomodate me) and just like the old days, she actually RETURNS YOUR MESSAGES! On top of that, she's Filipina with such a super great disposition.
Her clinic is very nice with an aquatic theme (the reception desk is shaped like a boat) and super clean! The entire staff is FRIENDLY and very helpful. Yes, of course it can get pricey if you have no insurance but that's like any other health clinic unless you have Medi-Cal which by the way she accepts...you can't complain the care and service you receive. She has a lot of your average clients, probably most people would consider in the low income taking into consideration the demographics of the environment where her clinic is located...BUT, that doesn't stop her or her staff from giving GREAT and QUALITY care. The same attention you would get if your doctor was in Beverly Hills or BlackHawk!
It's been 2 or 3 years now for her and I believe she's doing okay...but I promised her that I would spread her services by word of mouth and I am hoping this review will help. Now, if I can just have her take in adult patients...I would be first in line to be her permanent patient!
By the way, not only she speaks Tagalog and other Filipino dialects fluently...she's also fluent in Spanish!!!
Dr. Osmena is a superb pediatrician. She is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She is the doctor for my 17 year old as well as my 4 year old. Her clinic has a convenient location (Tanforan Mall), hours (incl. Saturdays!) and the office is comfortable with a nautical theme (the reception desk is a boat!). Highly recommend to all parents.
She is the BEST Dr. could have ever found for my son.... There is never a long wait and she is sooo nice and GREAT
I usually come here when I need treatment fast..the times I've been here is on the weekends (for some reason?!) when other clinics are closed. It's kinda cool to have a medical clinic in the mall...I suppose. The doctor is very nice and attentive. However, it will cost your $69 . But it's worth it if you need the care.
