A little jeweler
right next to my post office.
Hard working and quaint
A quiet, unassuming shop in downtown Littleton with reasonable prices and honest service. It was only $25 to get my wedding ring resized, and I was warned ahead of time that the ring might not keep its shape, although it did. He has done several rings for me, all with the same level of skill and price. This may not seem like a big deal, but there are plenty of horror stories out there about this sort of simple repair gone awry. The return time for jewelry is reasonable, and can be rushed a bit if you ask nicely. They also have a small jewelery selection, but its all a bit flamboyant for my tastes.
I also like this store because it is tucked out of the way of the increasingly boutique downtown Littleton, but is still surviving. Even though they are not chains, the boutiques (or more correctly, the property owners) have pushed out many of the charming stores that had been there for generation. So here is to you, Littleton Gold and Silver, may you outlast the boom.
