Ohhhhh Little Toni's... how do I crave your Everything But Lankershim pizza (add the garlic too... TRUST ME!) Their pizza is amazing and this one takes the cake. My friend and I dream about this pizza and CRAVE it. I can't say that I have had anything else there, because I always want this AMAZING pizza. Atmosphere is kinda drap, but it is all worth it when you take your first bite.

I would have given it 5 stars but the last time I went they burned my pizza... alas... once returned and a new one received all was right in my world again.

Also, for those that care about star sitings... I've seen some good ones here!

There's nothing special about Little Toni's. It's your standard red sauce joint, serving up your standard red sauce far.

The pizza is okay, but the spaghetti could be better. The noodles taste like they've been previously cooked and are reheated at the time of order. The chicken parmesan is tasty -- if it hasn't gotten soggy before it comes out.

Parking can also be a pain. The lot is small and the neighborhood crowded. Finding street parking can be nearly impossible sometimes. I hate spending 30-minutes to find parking, only then to have mediocre food served to me.

As Michael D. stated, the food has gone down hill over the years. I remember years ago, the dishes being much better than they are today.

Little T's is a mixed bag. I love the old-school, "we're shooting a NY Scorcese flick in L.A." look, and while not great, I have a soft spot for their pizza. I love how late they're open, and it's a fun place to go with friends or family, but there's always something just a little off about the food. Sometimes it's more than just a little off and just not good. If I'm not eating the pizza I order the chicken marsala.

Their chicken is always a little tough, and the veggies are so cafeteria style frozen (but the butter they mix in helps). Last night I took a chance with the Chicken Parm and it wasn't bad, but was too thick and tough, and salty. In fact, everything is too salty. The house salad is pretty good, though, love the garbonzo's. My friend had the Spaghetti with Mushrooms and asked for a little extra garlic, and they charged us an extra $1.75. And while it seems exciting when they bring out the bread and butter on the slab of wood, the nice presentation only leads to a bland letdown.

Even though the parking situation sucks, it's still a classic place, and an overall fun experience. And you can't really go wrong with some pizza or pasta and meat sauce. And lastly, I know the review should have ended, but even though the Marsala isn 't that impressive I'll still order it a thousand more times, because there's a comfort food quality about the place.

We ordered a large pizza to go and it was around $23. It turned out to be one of the most expensive and worst tasting pie we ever paid for. Grant it, it's fresh out of the oven and that's pretty much it. It's a step above the store brand frozen pizza we occasionally get on sales. For what we paid for, we expect lots more. Will never come back again.

I love Little Toni's and have been going there since I was a teen. It's a classic italian family restaurant with a cozy feel. Their antipasto is really great and their spaghetti and meatballs and pizza are always delicious and well prepared. I was craving the antipasto the other night as it's SO good and even a small size willl fill you up. Add to the fact that this place has late night dining so you can drop in anytime up till 1-1:30AM and still get a table. There was a bad fire several years ago so they completely remodeled but kept the same look the restaurant has always had and the red booths. They recently did some remodeling to the frontage on the back of the building adding some nice accents. It's a simple but good place to enjoy italian anytime!

Finally, good pizza in LA! I've lived here 8 months and been really disappointed in the local pizza places I've had, but this place was great.  Thin crust and great cheese. Great old Italian feel, considerate wait stuff, and love the late hours.

Their pizza is GREAT! But you have been warned, don't order any other main dish, they are all very bland. It's a weird contrast between how good their pizza is and how painfully average everything else is.

I've had a few pizzas there and they have all been wonderful. Eating in the restaurant, I love that the waiters serve the pizza with spoons!

Parking is always a bit of a problem, but really that's my problem since I live about 2 blocks away and was just too lazy to walk. Even walking, it's a hard spot to get to with the Lankershim, Vine, and Camarillo streets all converging at one monster intersection.

The ambiance is great as well. It's dark, but not too dark. The place is usually packed at normal dinner times, but it never feels like you are crammed into the dining room.

I'm always up for Little Toni's!

Just started going there because I searched on yelp for a place I could buy pizza at 1am and this place showed up.  I went and got a  pizza and it was very good.  I got salami and pineapple.  They loaded it with toppings and cheese.  I couldn't ask for anything better.  So the next night I went back and dined in.  I went after midnight so it was pretty slow, I was able to get my food right away.  I ordered spaghetti with Italian Sausage with the side salad and a dinner roll.  I wasn't too impressed with the salad.  The spaghetti was good and the sauce was good.  They bring you your roll on a cutting board, I thought that was clever.  I'll can't wait to go back and try something else.  Overall its very good.

WARNING:  It looks like it is closed for construction!!!  It is OPEN, so do not be deterred by the rubble and boarded up windows (I almost didn't see the "open during construction" sign).

My first experience with Little Toni's was a midnight excursion in search of non- fast food.  Yeah, waaaaaayyyy better than Jack in the Box, my usual choice for late night dining.

I went with a thin crust pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeno pizza and was VERY pleased with my selection.  At first I thought $15 was pricey for a small three topping, but the quality is well worth the price.  True to the opinions of other Yelpers, the pepperoni is FANTASTIC.  They must slice it fresh off of a whole pepperoni sausage thingy (unlike many places that use pre-sliced pepperoni), and the result is a noticeably higher quality, fresh-tasting and looking pizza topping experience.  The cheese is also high quality, plentiful and wonderfully gooey.  The thin crust wasn't exactly thin, but I'm not complaining.

As I waited for my pizza to come out of the oven, I saw a waitress serving beer in frosted mugs which would have been mouthwatering was I not still recovering from drinking too much the night before.  Nice to know I can go back to get a fresh, new hangover later!

Parking was fine at 12:30 a.m. but I can see it being tough during the day.  The parking lot is quite small but there is metered street parking on Lankershim.

This ain't no fresh from the streets of venice pizza, This ain't no Mozza and definitely ain't no Louie, but damn, its in the heart of NORTH HOLLYWOOD and is definitely the cheesiest pizza around. My personal favorite, Thin, melt in your mouth crust, and some pepperoni's from Rick Ross's personal PIG. Can't forget the homie from ZACATECAS in the kitchen cooking up the pizzas. Late night munchie perfection, but the place does look like somewhere Joe Pesci would wack you..

Great pizza and great ambience!  Granted, I ended up only taking to go, but was very pleased with the atmosphere inside and my experience with the staff.

The pizza is FANTASTIC.  Keep in mind, the thin crust here is delicious italian style, not cracker-like how you might find at a papa john's.

    DELISH!

I've never eaten at the restaurant, so I can only speak to the quality of their food. The ingredients they use on this pizza 100% rock. The pepperoni was amazing, cheese was high quality and the sauce was the perfect complement.

But this 'za still got three stars for one very key element: the crust. The crust, the vehicle for the toppings, seems rather neglected at Little Toni's. The problem could be as simple as the evenness of the cooking in the oven because half of my pizza had a great tasting crust, but the other half was chewy when it should have been crisp, crispy where it should have been chewy and so floppy that half my toppings ended up in the box.

I re-heated some of the pizza in the over later and the entire crust issue was resolved, so if you take out and experience similar problems, give the toaster or the oven a try. I know, if you're ordering out, you shouldn't have to cook, but the toppings are well worth the extra "work."

I've been going to LT's for over 30 years. The pizza isn't bad, isn't great. Does ok in a pinch if you  live close. I have noticed as time goes by they have been skimping on their toppings. Parking lot holds maybe 15 cars and is an odd shape. I would stay away from their entrees.

25 years ago I stopped ordering the best pizza in town because of a bad experience.  I felt as a regular customer I deserved better customer service when they delivered a pizza to my home with half the cheese slid all the way onto one side.
They were not even appologetic and I had to drive down to the restraunt to get a refund.  I have not ordered a pizza since. THEN... about six months ago after playing golf with some friends we were looking for a place to eat lunch....  and they chose little Toni's.  After 25 years of not tasting their pizza I admit I really wanted to try it, and you know what? The Pizza was still pretty fantastic.... but I still wont give them my business because of the way they treated me back in 1986, there are just too many other places that make pizza for me to take that kind of treatment from a business who feels like business is good enough that they can afford to write off their regular customers. Well good for them, Papa Johns or Domino's will do just fine, thanks.

The food in general is pretty good, but the pizza is the star attraction.  Their pizza is my standard for how good pizza can be.  Every other pizza that I encounter is judged by this standard.

They have a wonderful staff.  They had a major fire and were closed for something like a year.  Most of the staff waited until it reopened because they liked the place so much - that says a LOT!!!  The staff is as good as the pizza.

The thin crust is delightful, not sweet like some others.

I think the sauce is the key to the perfection.  I've never had any that is better.  Not sure what they do with it, but it's a winner.  Lots of flavor!

All the toppings are delightfully fresh and tasty and are liberally applied.  Never sparse - with the "works" pizza, you can barely see the ample cheese.

Net result is quite moist and a little oily (olive oil? ...or maybe from the quality cheese?)  Nicely spiced and aromatic.  (Damn, I'm starting to salivate!)

I've been eating here since I was a kid 45+ years ago.  I now live 400 miles away any have yet to find anything that even comes close to matching this gourmet quality pizza!!!

Little Toni's is more than a restaurant, it's a treasure.

This place is pretty awesome. The red clam sauce is ridiculously good. And the portions are well beyond anything one human person should eat by themselves. (Yes I said human Person). The pizza is also above average. You have to get the pepperoni. Sooo good! It has a nice comfortable  interior if you're dinning in. And its open late. I would recommend this to anyone. Go to little Toni's and bring a huge appetite!

Let me say first that the customer service is great. If it weren't for them, I would hate everything in the world right now.

We ordered the mushroom cheese ravioli with marinara and combo pizza with thick crust, meatballs, green peppers, and garlic. The bread that came before was the best part of the meal. The ravioli itself was great however the marinara was dark and overly seasoned with traditional Italian spices. It was like some dude was standing lost in the kitchen scrambling to make sauce, grabbed a costco container of "classic italian seasoning" and dumped it into the pot. Then the pizza! I tried to eat it like a wuss with a fork (I'm clumsy and was trying to be a lady), but it wouldn't go through. So I grabbed my butterknife and tried that to no avail. Finally I started sawing at it with the bread knife. Still, it only made a dent. So I manned up, picked up the slice and tried to bite it. It was one of those random things that are supposed to be chewable yet instead you have to tear off bites with sheer jaw muscle then try to knaw into a digestable paste. The worst pizza crust I've ever put into my mouth, and this is after years of mistrialing in my own kitchen with thick crust receipes. Which is a shame because the toppings sans crust tasted great.

I'll not be coming back here, between the food quality and parking nightmare (corner of camarillo/lankershim/vineland? Aaah!), even if the thin crust is divine it would not be worth it.

I've heard great things about this place so I decided to give this place a try...
I have to stay I was highly satisfied by my experience! The PIZZA was outstanding! Ordered a the small thin crust pizza, thinking it would be small enough for one person but the servings here are pretty large. But I'm glad that was the case because the pizza was sooooooOOOOO good I got to bring some leftovers home!
The customer service was great as well. Now I am speaking for my waitress, as she was this cute little old lady who was by far so sweet and warm. She was so attentive and kept checking in to ensure my boyfriend and I were ok throughout our dining experience. I noticed that the much younger waitresses, were sorta rude and they would sneak off to use their phones, or text and chit chat by the kitchen so I noticed some very irritated customers.
Anyhow if you're in the mood for some yummy mouth watering pizza..COME HERE

I'm not going to lie - I like it here.

I've passed Little Toni's over a hundred times and never gave it a second thought.  (or any thought.)

It was recently recommended to me, so a group of us came in for a dinner.

The parking lot is sort of awkward...  They tried to squeeze as many spots as possible into their corner lot.  Try to stay within the lines.  :)

I walked in and instantly felt like I was transported back to some greasy italian restaurant* in South Jersey. *Note - This is a good thing.

A little old lady quickly brought us to a booth where she gave us our sticky menus and took our drink orders.

The menu is huge!  I was quite overwhelmed as everything looked great.  The menu was very reminiscent of the places I grew up w/ on the east coast!

I went with the spaghetti w/ clams in white sauce.  Fantastic.  Portions were HUGE.  I ate maybe 25% of it and brought the rest home.

Everyone at the table also raved about their dishes, and the service was perfect.

The house wine, however, gave me a hangover before I even finished my meal.  But you get what you pay for.

There are a lot of places in LA that, when you walk in, make you feel like you've been transported back in time, so for better and others for worse. This place, although is not like going back to the roaring 20's or the swinging 60's, is certainly still stuck back in time, but int he best way. it's warm and cozy and like sitting down for a family dinner out when you were a kid.

The service was friendly and sweet, a little slow moving, but nice. The Pizza and bread and beer was yummy and inexpensive. Defiantly one of our places to go for a casual meal. it's not high-end and not crazy over-the-top italian food. Just some good stuff to warm your belly.

I love this place! I gave 4 stars cause the parking is weird and the servers, although somewhat charming, are old and kinda cranky and forgetful. the food however, is the bomb! its like OG italian. The portions are crazy- a pasta dish can be split between 2 people. They also have great cheap house wines to choose from. I love how dark and old school the dining room is. I went on a sunday night and it was filled with families- seemed like local families going out for their sunday night dinner which I thought was pretty cool.
if youre trying to be health concious or on a diet- i would stay away lol, however they do have steaks, chops, chicken, and seafood on the menu with veggie sides that I'm hoping to try on my next visit.

Love love love this place. Outdated decor and vintage staff are what makes this place so charming. The chopped salad is incredible and their pizzas are oh-so tasty. Thin crust is where it's at! I'd steer away from most pastas. The ravioli is frozen for sure. Pick up or dine-in only. Pizza is so worth it.

Not only are the pizzas at Little Toni's excellent, but they're available well into the wee-small hours of the morning.
I love Little Toni's for two reasons:
1- One slice will fill you up, but it will be so good that you'll be unable to stop yourself from gorging on a second.
2- (And I don't know if my fellow yelpers will agree with me on this) Fountain drinks in LA can often fall victim to a "toilet water" taste (terrible tap water = nasty fountain drinks). But the fountain drinks at Little Toni's are awesome. This is nit-picky, right? Wrong! A bad drink can ruin a good meal. So when I'm at Little Toni's I take full advantage of their awesome soda, and act like Charlie and his Grandpa Joe thieving fizzy lifting drinks.

OK, I really got away from the point there. But Little Toni's is an awesome pizza place.

    Here's what I do:
-Check out a comedy show at UCB Theatre in Hollywood (right over the hill).
-Remember my favorite pizza place is on the way home.
-Order a pizza with pepperoni and fresh garlic.
    -(And an awesome fountain drink!!!!)
-Get a lollipop on the way out. Yes.

Nope!  Ordered the large cheese pizza for take out and regretted not eating a can of soup.  This place used to be the talk of the town but the pizza has since then gone down.  The dough was round, white and machine made.  The sauce was a step above ketchup and the cheese came off the pizza with the first bite.  Yuk!  I make better pizza in a toaster oven.

I used to come here when I moved in the area about 10 years ago and it was half decent but has since then gone down. I don't dare to visit the restaurant for dine in because there's no parking.  I don't know what people see in this place when you have places in the area that dwarf this place in quality.

Great late night food especially if you've been at universal studios all day. Try the ravioli.  Decent prices, dark mood lighting!

Pizza is pretty good.  The bar is super small and they always have the worst programming on their TV.

Not the greatest place in the world, but a must see when visiting North Hollywood

A love letter to Little Toni.

    Dear Toni,

I've been coming to your charming spot for years. And years. And years. And you never fail to disappoint.

    Ever.

Last night was probably the two hundredth time I've had your food and I just wanted to yelp and tell you how friggin' good you are.

Your pizza is amazing. Sometimes I get thin crust, sometimes thick. It's always perfect. The cheese blend heavenly. Your pepperoni is the best. Who supplies it?  When the pizza comes out, it is a little crunchy and if I'm lucky, even a little blackened. You add the perfect amount of fresh garlic to every pie. You never skimp on add-ons.

Your beers are cold. Your antipasto salad a gluttony of meat over a few shreds of required lettuce. And your decor is old school fantastic.

    Yours always,

    PJ

P.S.  I still miss Joan the waitress.  Terribly.  But I know she's up there somewhere remembering everyone's order, giving quick horoscopes on the sly and always making the customers smile.

An old school, slightly worn down (worn in?) Italian joint.  Big portions.  Great for big groups, I came here with 8 others.  We ordered garlic pizza based on someone's previous experience with it here - sounds boring but it's aromatic and ridiculously good.

I think in the words of Mr Anthony Bourdain, we are cheese sluts. My friend and I are both cheese fanatics. We love cheese. There' s just no pretty way to say it.  So around 1 am, after a 3 hour talkathon, he throws out the idea of pizza for dinner. Says this place is open till 4 (it's not, only till 2) has great pizza and when you order extra cheese, they really deliver.

We are within walking distance and head on over. We order our extra cheese with mushroom and are told it'll be about 15 minutes. We went for a little walk and headed on back. Unfortunately, aside from the vestibule I can't really comment on any of the decor or ambiance as we were grabbing and going. It did seem a little old school in the dark colors and dim lights of a 70's/80's Italian joint.

We get said pizza home and lift the cover to reveal that beautiful gooey golden surface. Yes, they did the deliver in the quantity of cheese. Quality however . . . I personally thought it was a bit too salty and oily and there was only a smattering of mushrooms. I felt pretty skimped on the mushrooms. The crust was a  pretty good thin crust and there wasn't too much sauce (which my friend likes, but I like a lot of sauce). I'd return again if I'm in the neighborhood and maybe try some of their other items.

it's so cute!! hahahha, the paintings on the wall, the slightly red dimmed lighting...but don't be fooled. it's not exactly fancy, just like, you know, cozy...

food was good. big portion. it's a typical Italian restaurant in a diner style. opens late till 2 AM. service was good too. food came really fast. Oh, they also have a wine list...
