Zydeco Music is rare outside of Southwest Louisiana, Alameda generally has Zydeco on Fridays at Eagles Hall and in Sonoma County, Monroe Hall in Santa Rosa and Little Switzerland in Sonoma.

Food & drinks a spacious dance floor both indoors at outdoors and once the music starts, the dance floor is packed.

Recently saw the Band Tri Tip Trio at Little Switzerland.

Live music, funky atmoshpere, cheap beer on tap.  All in a unlikely location.  Whats not to like?

This place is great for Friday night happy hour. On the patio they have a woman who bbq's up tacos, oysters, skewers and ribs. The oysters are fresh, they have someone drive out to the oyster place in West Marin on Friday afternoon. Everything is a buck and is very tasty. Good drink prices and kid friendly. They have a DJ and sometimes the music can get a bit loud. Also an outdoor dance floor.

Truly the authentic local dive bar.  Make sure you go when there's a band playing, otherwise it'll just be you and the (older) regulars.  But with a bigger crowd, it's a pretty fun joint, and the drinks are strong and very reasonably priced.  Huge back patio as well.
