This place is amazing.  We started with garlic bread and spicy chicken wings, which were both yummy, and then ordered two pizzas:

DEEP DISH: Classic - Sausage, mushrooms, onions, green bells

THIN CRUST: White Pie - Garlic olive oil base, mozzarella, roasted zucchini, fresh tomatoes, feta

The white pie was one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted!  We had ordered a large but they brought out a small (plus the large deep dish - which ended up being more than enough for 4 adults.  Because of the screw up they ended up comp'ing our large deep dish which was not necessary).

Even if they hadn't comp'd one of the pizzas, I would have still given the service 5 stars.

I'll definately be going back here more frequently!

Um, amazing...

We waited an hour drinking blue star wheat and boont ale at the entrance of the tiny restaurant. We walked in at 7:30pm and man, was this place crackin!!!  No rush, this place is warm and cozy, perfect on a chilly November night. We had a group of 9 and the reservationist was really accurate in her timing. And no, they do not take reservations. Not even for big parties.

An hour later we were seated, a group of 9 at a four top. We didn't care. The food looked too amazing for us to wait any longer.

We ordered two orders of the chicken wings, the classic pizza, and the pesto chicken thin crust pizza (both large) to share. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECTION. Deep dish pizza FTW... the tomatoes were ON TOP of the pizza so it wasn't super cheesy or overly greasy. The chicken wings were HOT and a must when you're having a beer.

DEEP DISH PIZZA FTW! (I said that already, but it's important to emphasize it again!) GO NOW!!!

What better way to show my love for Little Star Pizza than to dedicate my 50th review to this deep dish pizza goldmine.

I was lured to Little Star Pizza by its coveted spot on the 7x7's list of 100 things to eat before you die.  I couldn't resist the temptation of devouring one of the most delicious creations in SF.  Chicago deep dish, watch your back. Little Star Pizza won't go down without a fight.

To die for pizza:
- Brass monkey (secret menu item): The Little Star (spinach blended with ricotta and feta, mushrooms, onions, garlic) with sausage
- Mediterranean Chicken - Chicken breast, artichoke hearts, red bell peppers, green olives, onions, feta

Little Star Pizza creates some delicious pies that pack some serious punch.  I'm really at a loss for words when I try to describe the gloriousness of their pizza.  The deep dish pizza is cheesy, loaded with toppings and covered with a layer of chunky tomato sauce.  But the real kicker is the crispy cornmeal crust.  The texture of the crust is well balanced with the spectacular flavors of the toppings.  Be prepared - it will knock your socks off!

It was a pretty standard wait time for two deep dish pizzas.  The service was great - we were seated almost immediately and our waiter was attentive.  The vibe I got from this LSP location was equivalent to a dive bar - relaxed atmosphere, dim lighting, and chill music.  A perfect place to kick back after a long day to enjoy some cold brewskies and unforgettable pizza.

Consider yourself warned: CASH ONLY!!!

Brass Monkey deep dish at Little Star Pizza - check! I can officially die happy.

I'm an Oakland girl. I fight fiercely for its honor and that includes our food.

However, I have to say, I like Little Star better than Zachary's.

Zachary's is really good. There is no denying that. But there is something about Little Star's dough and the toppings that bump it up to perfection. Zachary's can be a little bit soupy sometimes with regards to the tomato on the top. Little Star keeps it extra fresh and not-so-runny.

The Original deep dish is probably my favorite of what I've eaten here. The vegetarian, ironically altered by adding chicken, is also delicious.

Kudos, Little Star. Kudos.

Why is the Brass Monkey #60 on 7x7's list of The Big Eat SF?  Because it's freakin AMAZING, possibly even life changing!  You can probably get the pickiest eater to eat his spinach by presenting him with this pizza!

It was early on Friday night when we decided to finally try out Little Star.  We decided to do take out instead of eating there since we knew parking would be hard & that it would be crowded there.  The promise time was quicker then I thought, 25 minutes.  Double parked, picked it up & off we were back to the house.

Brass Monkey we finally ate you!  The ricotta and feta cheeses give the pizza a nice creamy and smooth taste of cheese without having to worry about never ending cheese when you cut it (though I'm guilty of sometimes liking this).  The sauce was really good too with plenty of herbs. I loved the garlic which complimented the veggies, and the sausage was juicy.  The crust was perfect too..mmm nom nom!  If you don't do meat, then you have to try the Little Star, which is exactly the same thing but without the sausage.  Oh Little Star, me love you long time...if only you took card, then I may just love you forever!

I came here after waiting over an hour for a party of 6 on a Saturday night. I'm convinced that all good things are worth the wait, and everyone seems to pee themselves when it comes to Little Star pizza, so I was determined to see what the fuss was about. So we put our names down and went to Mini Bar across the street to have a few drinks to while away the time.

We came back and within a few minutes, we were seated and ordering pizza. I could talk about the salad and the beer we ordered, but let's cut to the chase. Classic deep dish and Mediterranean chicken deep dish pizzas were ordered. And when they arrived, I almost died.

I firmly believe that the crust is the heart of the pizza, and if the crust is bad, the pizza isn't really worth eating. I was pretty much blown away. The crust is amazing, and unlike anything I've had anywhere else. It's so crispy and delicious, and I really can't get over it. I ate a bajillion slices and took some home because I was just completely flabbergasted at how good their crust was.

This place blows Patxi's out of the water. It's even better than Zachary's in Oakland. I wish they weren't so crowded on weekends, but if you have time to kill, it's totally worth the wait.

Cute pizza parlor meets wrong order

It sucks that you can't have it all...always some good parts out of a whole...like 2 out of 3, 3 out of 5....you get the picture

First time around and I wasn't too impressed with the pizzas here but since I'm seeing 5 star reviews I must've missed something?

It was a girls' night out with my fabulous 5. We ordered the Classic Deep Dish pizza with sausage, onions, mushrooms and it was delicious. However, having acclimated myself to deep dish pizza in Chi-town as a former chi-town homegirl and chomped on fabulous deep dishes in every corner...you develop a tongue for the finest

However, I won't dismiss the fact that the pizza was pleasing because of it's juicy chunks of sausage, tomatoes. The aroma of the herbs surrounded your nose & the crust (my fave part of the pizza)....flaky & buttery.

Not so bad...let's just say another visit wouldn't be out of the question

The only reason that I'm not giving it a 5 star rating today is that I've only tried it once. The Deep Dish tastes a lot like Pizano's in Chicago. A flaky, light but crispy crust with a good helping of cheese and toppings.

I had the special for the night. Meatballs, Pepperoni, Ricotta and Spinach. Well, the special was with Mushrooms instead of Pepperoni but they were more than happy to modify it for us. The pizza took the typical 25 minutes to come out. We arrived right as the opened so there was no wait. By the time we left though there was a line out the door.

The best part of the pizza was the meatballs. If they've got them the night you go, you owe it to yourself to order them. They are a bit spicy, but not too spicy.

We ordered a small pizza (9") for two people. It was the exact right size for the two of us. We didn't order an appetizer. If there are three of you, get a small and an app and you'll be fully satiated.

Yum Yum!

Yum!  I've been to Little Star a few times and have always had delicious pizza.  I'll admit that their thick crust isn't that appealing as I don't like sauce on top of all of my cheese and toppings, but even then it's a generally tasty pizza.  But this review is about their thin crust.  It's always been delicious and the other night they had an incredible special of gorgonzola, pears and bacon on a thin crust pizza.  It was incredible!

They also have a nice selection of wine, beer and drinks... I had the champagne and pomegranate drink.  A nice combo that I'd probably get again.  Service is friendly and helpful and the location is nice.  A little small and it can get crowded so get there early or get ready for a wait.

Too many hipsters! Look, the place is good but I have had MUCH better. Across the bay, Zachary's kills this place in the deep dish department and does it without all the coolness and trendiness that Little Star has. I can name 5 spots in downtown Chicago that would destroy Little Star (Edwardo's, Giordano's, Lou's, Uno's, Gino's). It's good for San Francisco standards, where everybody can pat themselves on their back and relish in how cool and unique this place is. But in my opinion, the deep dish is average, I just don't like their spaghetti sauce, err tomato sauce, that  they use for their pies.

I will say that their thin crust is much better and tastier. The crust is very crispy and it has a good balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. In fact, I would even say that it is in the top 4 for thin crust with Gialina, Pizzetta 211, Delfina, and A-16 battling for top spots. I would give the thin crust 5 stars and the deep dish 2.5. But I still can't get over the fact that one has to have the secret password, look at my cool tattoo on my wrist mentality. It is a fucking pizza parlor! Get over yourselves already...

Alright, seriously, why is the pizza so good?

I've been a Zachary's fan for quite some time. I was convinced that no other pizza could rival the flavor, fullness, and baked crust of the chicago style pizza Zachary's consistently provides. To put it simply, I've renounced my loyalty to Zach's and claimed LSP as the new rightful heir to the top chicago-style pizza in my heart.

The feeling I experienced after leaving LSP could almost be equated to a conservative young man's eye-opening sexual experience from a freaky girl. You never really could have imagined something so great until it sneaks up and rubs you just the right way. And you're left with W =O W! (I apologize for the vulgarity, but its true!) On top of the really good toppings/sauce/cheese, its really the crust that did the sneaking up on me. It's crunchy and crispyness that really left me speechlessly anxious to taste it again.

The service was great (kept our water carafe topped off at a moments notice), the price is a little cheaper than Zachery's (~$24 for a large deep dish special), and the vibe is chill and hip.

Just go. I can ramble on and on, but really you just need to go.

Thanks LSP for opening my eyes to heaven.

Food: 1 large brass monkey (see other yelpers raving, this is good stuff).
Service:  2.5 hours before we got our pizza.  Is this supposed to be a french restaurant?
Ambiance: too hip for you pizza joint.  A bit loud b/c of the music. Kinda had to shout to be heard.

A series of mishaps or something, b/c we got there at 8pm, was told the wait was 45 min for a table, ok. So then 45 minutes in, realizing we're still waiting, we put our order in for a large brass monkey (not on the menu, but thanks to yelp it's the pizza w/tons of fatty juicy flavorful sausage). Sat down at 9:45pm *finally*.  Are told that oops, the kitchen messed up, so our order wasn't put in.  I almost fell over, i was so hungry.  The worst is the servers kept coming over and saying: "Five more minutes!" "Your pizza is up!" And ten minutes, 15, 20, 30 minutes would go by!   Stop it already and just be honest!

So by the time we got the pizza, I am sure anything would have tasted amazing.  Last insult of the night is they offered to comp us half the pizza for the wait.  I dunno, something about comping for half was felt a bit half-assed, like c'mon, make it all or nothing!  What's w/the half pizza comp!!?! Man up!

Just like when a movie gets a lot of hype the expectations go up and I leave feeling shorted.  I'd basically put the expectations in your back pocket when going here.  It's a decent pizza, but not the greatest.

The crust is very "corn mealy."  The deep dish is good, on par with Zachary's.  Overall I think Escape from New York is a better tasting pizza

Also, the service I've had at Little Star was a little rude.  Not horrible, but noticeable.

Let me just put this out there right up front.  YES, IT'S BETTER THAN ZACHARY's.  Waaaaay better.  In fact, Little Star pretty much turns Zachary's around, bends him over and has his way with him.  And I live in the East Bay... sadface.

I still prefer the ol' thin crusted 2D slices of heaven that make up a good NY pizza, but for deep dish, it doesn't get better than this.  I am spoiled.  I can never look at that over-sauced, tomato-y mess that is Zachary's ever again.  It's all in Little Star's crust - that dry but buttery, crispy crust.  It has the perfect cornmeal texture and that ooey gooey cheese is the perfect foil to just the right amount of crunch when you bite into it.  It's popular so be prepared to wait.  At least they have cheap booze.

Do you see the 5 glowing stars for this review?

I've been thinking of powerful words to really bring home how I feel about Little Star Pizza.

I had a first draft.

And a second draft.

Then I gave up.

It was my  first time having LSP the night of our happy hour at Madrone.  Yes, I'm making a grand statement when I say "it's damn good deep dish pizza".  Wait.  Scratch that.

It's not a grand statement.  It's a fact.

We called in our order for take-out and promptly picked it up in 30 mins.  A small Classic deep dish with sausage, mushrooms, onions and green bell peppers.  But savvy yelpers know to ask for the Brass Monkey which is not on the menu.  (It is #60 on the Big Eats SF list.)

A little bit over half an inch thick crust topped with ricotta and feta cheese, sausage, spinach, onions, garlic, mushrooms. Everything just seems to marry well together.  It's like lasagna on a pizza pie. You may automatically conclude that this deep dish is chewy, but it's not.   You take that first bite.  Your teeth literally sinks into the heavenly crust.  The billion nerve endings on your taste buds get excited by the zesty sauce and as the chunky tomatoes hit it full force, it makes you salivate for more.

More.

Judging from the 1000+ reviews on this place, it's safe to say that LSP has mastered the art of deep dish pizza awesomeness.

5 glowing stars.

Wow... THE best deep dish of this style I've had.  Zachary's has nothin on this place!  I've been to Zachary's twice and had some overnight pizza from here once and ate here once and even the overnight reheated pizza was so good and better than Zacharys!

So I guess I should let you in on a little on a little secret.  Okay you can't tell anyone!  It's from their secret menu.  The best thing to order is called the brass monkey.  Okay now that you know you can go order it and try it out.  I wont tell you what it is so you can be surprised.  However, it's really not that big of a secret and don't order it if you're a vegetarian.  But I have to say it is one of the best pizzas I've ever had.

It took me a while to actually try this place even though I just live like 3 blocks away. I was told by several people that it was pretty expensive so I just decided to stick with Escape from New York. One night though, a friend of mine was in the mood for good pizza and we wound up walking over to LSP.
Fortunately, the wait was only about 5-10 minutes and the hostess was pleasant and helpful. We ended up getting a thin-crust customized pizza with mushrooms, onions and artichokes. I was really happy when they brought our pizza out and saw they hadn't skimped on the toppings like other places can do. The music was great, albeit a little loud and I realized I had to semi-yell at my friend across the table for him to hear me. In the end though, I'd definitely come back. The prices were NOT expensive, really. There was a good crowd, which is always indicative of a place that's intending to stick around.

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
You make the best pizza in SF by far.

In fact I believe that Little Star may be my new favorite pizza joint of all time.

My friend and I wandered into this dark lit, crowded, cozy restaurant last Friday evening. We were told by the hostess that the wait would be 40 minutes but since all the parties ahead of us had at least 4 people in their groups we were seated at a small 2 person table in the corner of the restaurant within 10 minutes.

When it comes to food my friend is very boring. He hates almost everything (except cheese and meat), and orders everything plain. He is not a big fan of deep dish pizza because he feels like there is always way too much sauce and not enough cheese. Since he is a big cheese and meat fanatic we ordered a large pizza with extra mozzarella, feta, gorgonzola, ricotta, pepperoni, salami, and sausage. It took about 20 minutes for our pizza to be prepared and brought out to our table. When the waiter brought it to us he said "This has to be the cheesiest pizza I have ever seen leave our kitchen". I actually think this was the cheesiest pizza I have ever eaten. Every bite had tons and tons of melted cheese in it.

As I said before my friend does not like anything so when I suggested we add pesto sauce to our pizza he looked at me as if I was crazy (he is so boring) so once our pizza was brought to us I asked the waiter for a side of the sauce. Even without the pesto sauce this pizza was great but with the sauce it was phenomenal. I really can't think of a better tasting pizza.

Our pizza came to about 30 dollars but considering all the toppings we added it was not bad. Our waiter was amazing too. He kept our water glasses full, made sure we had lots of napkins (we needed them), and checked in on us every few minutes to make sure we had everything we needed.

If your ever find yourself in the city by the bay make sure you check out little star, I know you will love it.

I'm going to jump on the fan wagon and say that Little Star Pizza has a really freaking good Chicago style pizza!

I have had the honor of eating at Zachary's and now here. I think that Little Star has a slightly different product than Zachary's. Simplicity is how I can best describe it. I love them both though!

I can't really compare the pizza here to the Chicago joints, but my assumption is that Little Star can probably compete with most joints in the Windy City. I am sure that there are better pie places there though, but for us in the Bay Area Little Star Pizza has a great deep dish.

I'm from Chicago, so I know the real deal with deep dish, and Little Star is a fake!

(Now that the obligatory disclaimer is out of the way, I can begin my review for real...)

Little Star is fantastic pizza.  After an earlier run-in with a highly recommended SF pizzeria, I was skeptical of Yelp's reviews of Bay-area pizza joints.  But Little Star is a big slice of happiness.

It's small, and kinda hard to find.  Their sign doesn't even light up.  I was dining alone, so I sat at the bar to avoid a 30-minute wait.

I began with their garlic bread.  It's basically a sliced sourdough loaf with a cup of melty butter and half a garlic clove.  It's up to you to scoop out the garlic and administer that and your butter as you see fit.  Initially, this annoyed me, but it was so good, I let the do-it-yourself assembly slide.

Then came the pizza.  I ordered a small deep dish pepperoni.  The sauce is the best part.  It's fairly chunky and zesty.  For any Chicagoans out there, it reminded me a bit of Giordano's.

The crust was surprisingly well done.  It was thick, but light.  Even when you get to the notoriously difficult-to-manage end of a slice, it remained good.  It looked similar to Pizzeria Uno/Due, but tasted far better.  They even had some cornmeal action on the bottom - a nice touch.

The only place where Little Star's non-Chicago roots were painfully evident was the cheese.  In the midwest, we know cheese.  Some of us wear it to football games.  It's a passion.  In California, I assume cheese is a 4-letter word.  It conjures thoughts of cholesterol and the human manatees Chicago is famous for.  So maybe that's why Little Star skimped a bit on the cheese.

That said, I was more than happy with my visit to Little Star.  And if I ever make it to San Francisco again, I'll be back.  And for those of you in San Francisco looking for an equally awesome pizza treat when visiting Chicago, look up Lou Malnati's.

As a (close enough to) Chicago native, I had my taste buds tantalized by the REAL DEAL Chicago deep dish at an early age and pretty consitently until I moved to California.  So when I tried Zachary's and loved it, and then people told me I *had* to try Little Star, I was sure I was going to be in for some out of this world pie.  High expectations... they get me every time.

We ordered take out, and the 30 minute wait was very reasonable for our three pizzas.  If I had eaten these sumptuous-smelling beauties right away, I'd probably be singing a different tune in this review.  Instead we had to wait about 40 minutes to get to someone's house before chowing down.  By that time, the crusts were a little soggy, the pies weren't as hot, and I just wasn't feeling them.

The flavors were really good though... we got a Little Star, Brass Monkey (just LS w/ sausage), and Vegetarian (all deep dish - HELLO).  The tomatoes had a smokier, roasted flavor than most other deep dish sauces I've had, and I loved the ricotta-feta mix on the LS pies.  The roasted zucchini was excellent on the Veggie.

In all my years of eating pizza I've realized that pizza is just better when it's fresh, or when it's a day old and you eat some out of the fridge for breakfast.  Anything in between is just a gray area.  If you're getting take out, then TAKE it OUT of the box right away.  Eat on the street if you have to.  Better yet, suck it up and wait for a table - that's what I'll be doing from now on.

Our friend Josh aka DJ Angst, just moved into the neighborhood and he invited us out to Little Star on a random Tuesday night.

It was packed. We had to wait 15 minutes, so we grabbed a few beers and my wife had one of their special drinks. Not bad. We are discussing my departure from the local top 40 scene and all the drama attached to it. Hella people in the building, so it must be good pizza. We finally get a table. My wife and Josh order some Deep Dish concoction, I order a regular pepperoni pizza.

MY LORD. This pizza is extremely yummy. Super flavorful, non greasy and just a delight to the tummy. CASH ONLY tho, so bring $$$

Hub and I (and sons) are pizzaterians. From the time our sons were young, Friday night was pizza night.  Our preference swings from thin crust to deep dish. We fell head over heels for Vicolo's corn meal crust when it was in Hayes Valley (still buy the crust), We are devotees of Zackery's pride and joy.  And have fond memories of some amazing  home made pizza dough (too much work).

Bonanza!!!! We have found all of our favs rolled into one delicious pizza. Deep corn meal crust, layers of spinach, mushrooms, cheeses and chopped tomatoes. Yes that is right, the wonderful people at Little Star Pizza have made the perfect pizza for we people who are committed to our Friday night pizza ritual. Of course our boys have outgrown our routine but we are trying to lure them back with a "little star".

One Friday, there was an overload of onions in the pizza but that seemed like an off night.  Check out the other reviews for noise etc.  The staff are pleasant and engaging- very nice, professional guy at the bar.  Price is very good.

Get there at 5 (Divisadero) and there is no waiting.  Would be nice if they were open at lunch.

Best deep dish pizza, probably anywhere I've lived (I've lived in Chicago and trust me, it's up there).  If I go to a place over and over, it's good, simple as that.  This is one of the go to places when we have any guests in town.  Simply put: the deep dish will blow you away.

It's busy, no reservations, but doesn't matter.  Make a night out of it.  Both locations have the same quality, and the staff is always friendly (I don't care about staff treatment, but I know some of you do).  Appetizers are OK, but don't waste your time...get some beers (fat tire belgian abbey or the pyramid apricot ale are my faves) and pizza and enjoy!

My love affair with pizza goes way back.  Shakey's pizza was a staple of our family gatherings growing up in Angeles City (Philippines) and ever since then I've always been on a search for great pizza.  I've also drifted between being a fan of Chicago style pizza vs New York style pizza.  I'm back in my Chicago style pizza phase hence my review of Little Star.  The pizza here is comparable to Zachary's.  I also love the fact that I don't have to drive all the way to Berkeley for a good deep dish pizza.

With 1k+ reviews, I don't really need to say much here, but it might help my network of friends if they're in the SF area.

DK brought me to Little Star Pizza during a recent trip to SF. We got there around 7 on a Saturday night and ordered some root beers to get us through the 20-minute wait. We sat at a high top right next to the bar. Don't expect roominess and comfort here, unless you're at the room, which is apparently offers the most elbow room out of the entire place.

We placed an order for a half Classic (sausage, mushrooms, onions, green bells) and half Mediterranean Chicken (Chicken breast, artichoke hearts, red bells, green olives, onions, feta). We had ordered a couple of root beers and it was perfect. The Classic was way better than the Chicken, so I'd go with that next time. The pizza came out to about $21 with tax. The crust was good, but greasier than Zachary's, and we had to wait entirely too long (it was like 25 minutes) for a small pizza and like no appetizers. We both were comfortably full, and had two slices left between us. And it was entirely way too noisy in there for a conversation. I was pretty much yelling the whole time. So it's good if you're with a bad date and you don't really care what they're yapping about anyway.

TIPS: Don't go with a large group, go early, and sit at the bar or at the high-tops. If you have a group, don't make it bigger than 4, we saw them seat 7 people at a square table for 4. And bring your patience.

first off - pizza here = too tasty. used to live across the street from this place. that was a whole lot of trouble.

2ndly - got my pie for 50% off last night with the Viv Special. awesome. granted I'm a little biased, but the place was rocking and people seemed stoked (though who wouldn't be at 50% off). can get more info on future Viv Specials at http://www.DoYouViv.com

lastly - don't underestimate the thin crust white pie. it's a sleeper / slayer,

I used to think Patxi's was No.1, then this place came along. Where it succeeds is having a combination of both good deep dishes and thin crusts. I like the beer selection and the quirky waiting staff.

The Garlic bread appetizer is basic yet very good, as are the blue cheese wings (love blue cheese!)

Never tried the dessert...always too full.

The Mediterranean deep dish is my goto.

So late one night, my roommate, bf and I had a craving for deep dish pizza and were ecstatic to find out that Little Star was nearby.  Too bad it took 5 minutes to get there, but 20 minutes to find parking!

We got a deep dish large pizza to share, with half Little Star and half Classic.  I really enjoyed the Little Star, which has ricotta, spinach, mushroom, garlic and onions.

I would have to say Zacharys and Little Star are definitely on par with each other when it comes to deep dish pizzas, but I like Little Star's ambiance more.  It's dim, laid-back, and kind of hippie with the staff's unique sense of fashion.

I also tried the pear cider, which was really good on its own, but not so much with pizza.

It's good... real good. The masses do not lie. If I were a pizza fanatic, this place might  flirt with 5-star status...

A group of five of us split two pizza's, one deep dish, one thin crust (more than enough food). I thought both we're delicious. The Classic deep dish wasn't too doughy, it had a nice crisp to it. The thin crust was uber cheesy, but in a good way. All the toppings were combined perfectly.

Be prepared, we waited about an hour, which was to be expected on Saturday night at prime time. There are a couple bars near by to help with the wait.

Def a place everyone should try, and although they are know for deep dish... make sure to throw a thin crust in the mix, you will not regret it.

Best pizza by far I ever eaten.

YUMM!!!

WOW! Loves it!

I had the original deep dish pizza. The crust itself was perfectly baked and crunchy and it wasnt oily or TOO cheesy. Yes, I dont like my pizza to be overwhelmed by the cheese because its all about the toppings.

I'm craving for their pizza right now but too bad they are close on Mondays. =(

Pretty decent pie by SF standards.
The deep dish monsters in Chicago puts Little Star to shame though.

Do yourself a favor and take out.
Deep dish pizza takes a long time to cook and you'll make no friends sitting in their dining room or waiting in line to eat.

Once you get that hot little pizza box in your hands, step on the gas and run every red light to get home as soon as possible.  If some idiot grandma or a cripple in a wheelchair gets in your way, I suggest you mow 'em down without mercy.

Deep dish pizza gets soggy if not consumed immediately.
