The food was good, not great. It took forever to get there but I was determined to fill my pho cravings. Needless to say, it resulted in the typical pho-coma!

The place wasn't the cleanest, but the family-owned business has tasty and flavorful food and that's what matters. I recommend the pho with eye of round. That's it.

Not too shabby.  Can be very difficult to find if you're not from the area.  My GPS took me to what I thought was an empty parking lot for the park across the street.  Turns out it's parking for the restaurant, but the restaurant just looks like a white house on the corner.

We ordered spring rolls, pho and some kind of thai chicken peanut curry coconut dish.  It was all very very good.  The spring rolls were well-wrapped and didn't fall apart when you were eating them.  Pho was piping hot, chicken was sliced thinly and was packed with noodles.  I couldn't eat the whole thing, the portion size was very generous.

I guess if you're really Jone-sing for Vietnamese food, Little Saigon MIGHT do the trick. Went there for dinner with 4 other friends. The decor isn't as bad as Pho Vung's, I didn't see any duct tape anywhere. Restaurant and bathroom are clean. Walls are bare and white.

Many people tend to do takeout here as the kitchen is open-concept and if you sit there long enough, you end up smelling like everyone elses' dinners.

The staff is really nice. They usually close at 9pm but even though we hadn't ordered by 8.30pm, they didn't hurry us (unlike the devil eatery "White Orchid") or chase us out even though we stayed past ten.

We had one order of all the appetizers. The fried Wontons were OK but the Goi Cuon (summer roll), and fried spring rolls (Cha Gio and Bi Cuon) were all very good.

Although my roommate recommended we try the pho, it was such a hot night that all of us ended up ordering a rice dish. Two of us had the #40 (Grilled pork and egg roll on rice vermicelli). While both of us agreed that it wasn't the best we'd tasted --the grilled pork was drowning in gravy, rather than BBQ'd -- it was decent by Atown standards.

One friend had the Special of the Day -- Yellow chicken curry on rice vermicelli -- and was disappointed. He said it lacked flavor and spice. This same friend though, has a knack of ordering the wrong thing at every restaurant. Anthony Bourdain -- chef, author, TV host and all round cool guy -- wrote in his book "Kitchen Confidential" that it's best to stay away from anything described as "Special of the Day" as "Special" is a euphemism for " we got this really cheap at the market" or "we found this at the back of the freezer and need to get rid off it".

Another friend tried the beef and broccoli and didnt think it wasn't very good while the last guy had the 'Beef sauteed with curry sauce' (#81) or the 'Beef Sauteed with Lemongrass and Hot pepper' (#80). He absolutely loved it and said it was as good as the one he had at White Orchid -- which is a rather bold statement -- a lot  cheaper AND Little Saigon gave him more rice with it too.

The place is BYOB with no corkage fee, so feel free to bring along your favorite poison, but call ahead if you intend to order or go in after 8pm. Even though the hours stated are  Wed-Mon 11am-9pm, I went there Sunday at 8.15pm, hoping to try the pho, and was told by their adorably precocious daughter that "Duh. Can't you see we're closed?"

My boyfriend and I recently ordered take-out here for a impromptu picnic. We had been meaning to try it out for a few years and I am so glad we finally did! We got a ton of food for about $25.
I took the advice of another poster and ordered the spring rolls fresh, not fried. They were AMAZING. Very refreshing; the vegetables had such a nice crispy texture. They gave us a complimentary salad of bean sprout with what I think was either Maggie or Rooster sauce; it was very hot but delicious. I ordered pho with beef balls...the broth was great, and the beef balls tasted good but were not very pretty...I tried not to look at them as I ate. My boyfriend ordered some sort of seafood noodle dish which, even though it was huge, he finished. We also ordered fried cinnamon bananas for dessert, a great way to finish the meal. Next time I'll definitely order more spring rolls but I'll try a different main dish. I'm also looking forward to trying some of the Vietnamese drinks they have. A bonus: they are open pretty late even on Sundays!

    Update:
We went back and I ordered the pho with vegetables and added meat for an extra fee. It was really good!

Your Viet Namese choices are very limited in this area. Soooo... we need to put things in perspective, something the previous poster, in my opinion has failed to do. If i were to compare any VN resturant in the US with many in VN, all of the US places would get one star at best. Little Saigon is a good VN resturant and i think with the owners hailing from Cho Lan, a district in Saigon thats home to a Chinese onclave, have a nice chinese influence to some of there dishes that i think would appeal to Americans. What i'm trying to say is they have a good menu for the demographic clietle in the area.  yes BYO Ba Ba Ba (beer) Downside: the Pho is a little on the flavorless side, but the rest of the menu is strong. Any place out in the country like this, if you plan on arriving close to the scheduled closing time, call ahead, especially on a Sunday at a family run joint.

This is my go-to place for Pho on a cold or rainy day. Every other place I've tried in the LV has paled in comparison. I agree that the Goi Cuon is small, but the broth for the Pho (which is the most important thing IMO) is tasty to me, and the portion is just right.

Even with the lowered expectation from other reviewers, I was disappointed.  Went there for lunch with a hankering for "Pho," and although the bowl looked appetizing, it was rather flavorless.  The fresh spring rolls were fine, but among the smallest I have ever seen anywhere.

First, Little Saigon is closed on Tuesdays. So in response to Rennie J.'s comment, the place is not out of business! Their hours are listed on the front door. They are open everday until 8pm, except Tuesdays.

Pho is one of my favorite meals. Little Saigon is not the best Vietnamese restaraunt I have ever been to, but in my opinion, it is the best in the Lehigh Valley.

The building is is nothing special, but the food tastes fresh and the family who runs the place is friendly and accomodating. I order a lot of my food to go and they always  package it nicely and nothing is ever missing.

I love the fresh spring rolls. I usually order Chicken Pho. The broth tastes great and they always give plenty of meat.

My only con would be their tendency to close earlier then the posted time. I would call ahead to confirm they are still open if your arrival time is approaching 7:30.

It WAS pretty good... BUT... unfortunately this place is now closed as of 24-December. Too bad because the LV is definitely lacking in Pho places... can't believe there is not a place over by Lehigh that serves Pho. But no. We wait.....

The pho is not extraordinary, but the place is cozy and the family who runs it is so nice.  The fresh spring rolls are yummy as are the shredded pork rolls.  Try the duck pho as well.  The other "bowl" items are good as well. For the area, this pho is better than the one on union.

From a reccomendation by a friend I went to Little Saigon to try out the food.  Before I headed from Harriaburg to go to work I checked out many restaurant reviews to seek a restaurant suit for me. despite the negative comments and low ratings I still went out to eat because the reviews were outdated and my taste was probably different. I loved the food. Though when I was there it was unfortunately a Saturday so the restaurant was packed. The waiters were a middle aged woman that had a very kind attitude though she had an accent and a young girl (maybe the daughter of the woman) that spoke fluent english and vietnamese. The young girl took my order. She was tired from taking orders for some tables but she still treated me respectfully unlike those woman from Stahley's. I was cold so I ordered the Deluxe Beef Rice Noodle Soup (#21). It was warm, delicious, and very well flavored. The price was $8.00 which is pretty fair. When finished with your meal, the waiter might bring out your check with a small plate with cut oranges. You could pay at the front or at your seat. So I'm going to end this review with a positive comment: Go eat at Little Saigon's, you won't be disapointed.
