With numb frost bitten toes the lounge brought warmth, comfort, and a beautiful roaring fire on a cold snow capped evening for myself and some friends.

Interesting characters in this little hot spot, central location and superb wine list. Beautiful little Hotel...

The Lounge would be great for private parties, parties of one, or a romantic evening after a long day on the slopes.

Loved it!

Strong Suggestions: If you can grab the table in the lounge by the fireplace it is scrumptious!

This review is for Montagna, the restaurant at the Little Nell Hotel.  My husband and I had a fabulous meal here.   We did not stay at the hotel.  We had the three-course set menu with wine pairings.  It was spectacular!  I started with the tomato/mozzarella salad.  It was divine!  I loved it so much, that our charming waiter brought me another small plate later that evening.  I moved on to a very light pasta fish with crab meat.  Really great.  The wine pairings were also great.  My husband also loved his heartier fare.

Ahh, the Nell.  A little slice of heaven in that little slice of heaven called Aspen.  I regularly stay there in the off-season, and I am so transported that I forget I actually live nearby.  If you want to splurge, ask for a room on the top floor -- the dormers make those rooms so cozy.  My approach:  spend at least two nights, eat at Montagna (the hotel's restaurant) or at least enjoy a cocktail in the living room of the lobby, and sit in front of your hotel room fireplace in your robe with a good book.  Grab a free cup of coffee from the bar in the morning and lounge in bed reading the Sunday New York Times delivered to your door.  This is the good life.

Just got back from three nights here, enjoying the off-season rates and beautiful Autumn in Aspen. The trees are turning yellow and the town is gloriously quiet. The hotel is wonderful. Our room was awesome. Great bathroom, plenty of space. The service was fantastic. They did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
