I am a big fan of Little Miss Muffin N Her Stuffin. I have been visiting this place since 2008 and have tried both their patties and muffins. They're always fresh and they taste great. Their chocolate muffin is delicious. I was not a fan of their jerk chicken patty as the filling is a bit too sweet but I am willing to overlook this. Freshly baked products that are often still warm in the morning at a decent price is why I love this bakery.

Saw this place on my way to the subway and was intrigued by the name - and I've always loved muffins..
Managed to get the last corn muffin (yeah!). Asked if I could have it buttered. Not only was that not a problem, was asked if I wanted it warmed in the microwave as well. Was just perfect that way.
This is a wonderful muffin with a true corn taste and it's huge - managed to finish only half. It's not heavy, and was a great dessert.
Many other baked items here, but most were sold out by my visit (4 p.m.). Items include croissants, cookies (with or without nuts) and brownies. A large selection of patties - both beef and vegetable - are here if you want more of a meal.
Tons of beverages - coffee, chai, herbal teas, hot chocolate, and some niche sodas, including Gus and Ting .
Service couldn't have been friendlier - did I mention that I was asked if I wanted my muffin warmed? Think he would have cut it into eight pieces if I asked him to do so.
A few seats at the window if you want to enjoy your food.
Will have to return next time I'm in the neighborhood.Listed in: Brooklyn Queens Desserts

Forget her muffins,
Try her spicy beef patty!
A crazy cheap lunch.

98% sure that Miss Muffin herself served me my oat bran muffin this morning! She was so friendly and knowing that the muffin was in my purse sans paper wrapping and still oven warm , made my morning commute THAT much better. I went for the oat bran. It was still a bit oily but the taste was amazing, the muffin moist and spiced so nicely.
I do wish it wasn't $2.50 for a muffin. But, on the other hand, it is a nice treat. -

The muffins here are pretty good. The top is crispier and the inside is fluffy goodness.
Reasons for the 3 stars:
Expensive...$2.50 for a small muffin. They are not open on Sundays. They do not take credit cards. Very greasy...soaks the brown bag they put them in. -

One of the secrets of the neighbourhood. Freshly baked muffins, amazing cookies, lovely people.

Living a block away, this has become my go to place for a quick breakfast or snack. Their muffins are pure buttery goodness and the pastries are perfectly flaky. In the warmer months, they're hazelnut iced coffee is my daily caffeine fix. Even their chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies are some of the best I've ever had.
However, the best thing on menu has to be the BBQ Chicken Patty--try it once and you'll find yourself craving it every week! -

I understand that muffins and stuffins (?) are in the name but I haven't tried them -- just patties. The only reason I eat Jamaican patties are when I'm hungry as fuck and late for work or I want to proudly rep my hood with delicious jerk chicken smell further down the Q line. It's either this place or Castillo next to the 7th Avenue B/Q, and Castillo can't produce anything for me in thirty seconds.
These things are tops: flaky, delightfully seasoned (beware the Christie's Jamaican Patty around the corner, they are unpalatably bland), almost always very fresh. And they travel well and are just as tasty, if not tastier, at room temperature. I like jerk or curried chicken and spicy beef, but do not under any circumstances order the vegetarian patty (with its nasty whole wheat crust) -- you will throw it away. Or at least I would, and did.
And what a huge bonus it is when Miss Muffin is there. She's the sweetest. I wish she was my mom. Jamaican moms are probably the best. -

mmm... blueberry muffin. crisp on the outside (think shell of corn muffin, but subtler, not so grainy) delectable, semi-moist in the inside. plentiful blueberries, (whether frozen or fresh makes no difference, i freeze fresh blueberries all the time). i think the ingredients call for oil, because the bag was soaked by the end of my subway trip.
i would have liked the inside to be more moist, and it would have been super duper wonderful if it were piping hot.
small shop... that's definitely been around the block. makes it all the more antiquated and inviting. haven't tried anything else here yet...but with the convenience before the Q train, why not stop to pick a little something to go?
one can dream. but i enjoyed it very much especially the muffin top. -

the signage maybe fading, the wallpaper peeling and the inside may smell like beef & onions upon walking through the door, but do not judge a book by its cover ... this place has some decent treats.
i came here earlier this afternoon because i remembered my neighbor chatting-up little miss muffin - i had a hankering for something carbo-loaded, chocolate-y and sweet. (i actually wanted red velvet cake, but bob law's was out and no one else nearby has any.) even though i trust my neighbor's taste, i knew what place she was talking about but had ignored it in the past per all the reasons stated above.
however, i was kinda desperate.
seems as though muffins and jamaican patties are miss muffin's thing. (hey, everyone's got their own thing.) in regards to the former, there were so many to choose from including lemon poppy seed, chocolate chip, almond, blueberry, etc. i ended-up picking out the double-chocolate chip along with a sugar cookie to enjoy on the walk home. both were soft, moist and finished in-full. one of the best $3 i've spent in awhile ... cravings were appeased.
quick sidebar - not sure if the woman behind the counter was miss muffin herself, but she had no problem mothering her customers. as in loudly informing me (twice) "that's not for you!" when i tried to pay her the amount rung up on the register and scolding the antsy kid in front of me for tapping his hand on the counter. for a second, she channeled my little filipina mother. hilarious.Listed in: c is for cookie ... and other…

When I think of hate I think of Dick Cheney (my friend and I have this theory that he secretly eats small children for lunch) and the Q train. It...is...so...slow! So, while I'm glad I no longer have to endure the lovely screeching halts and prolonged pauses while EVERY other train switches tracks in front of it, I do miss Little Miss Muffin. The ladies that work here seem to know what us commuters are facing every day, because they're so damn nice so damn early, I find it hard not to smile and chat along with them.
It's a little hole in the wall where you prepare your own coffee and take it to the counter where they grab your muffin for you...wait...that sounds...pervy...never mind, I will be like Vonnegut and be the second writer who never revises. Unintentional pervy-ness aside, great blueberry muffin! I've tried others, but my love extends to blueberry and blueberry alone. Crunchy golden goodness on the outside, warm, soft love on the inside. Perfect. -

Sampling Miss Muffin's baked goods is not only a gastronomic treat, but a cozy shopping experience. Miss Muffin is often there in person, serving her fresh baked cookies, cakes and famous patties. This is honest to goodness home cooking with all the wholesomeness that goes along with it. Right near the 7th Avenue subway station, it's hard to not stop in when hurrying for the train.

Delicious and good price. The croissant is unique with a sourdough twist. The cookies were delicious. Miss Muffin was so sweet. She told me about how sorrel was made and gave me a free taste.

Veggie patties can be kinda dry, but the baked goods are great and the women behind the counter remind me of my family.

Good patties here. The customer service is warm and friendly. The first time I went, the lady behind the counter explained how sorrel was made and offered me a cup for free.

I seriously miss taking the q train to work cause I don't get to pick up my treats from littlemiss muffin. This place is amazing. When you walk into the tiny bakery u feel like your are walking into cookie brownie heaven! My sister was addicted to the brownies they are moist and perfect! The patties are also pewter yum. Change it up and try the whole wheat veggie patty soooo good! Oh and their cookies are yum too. The owners are so nice they always serve with a smile!

Not bad but not the best. I was expecting a seriously oversized, moist and delicious muffin, especially at $2.50 a piece. But then I got in and saw them and was disappointed. The banana nut was tasty but I have had better. For a place that is called Little Miss Muffin the bar is held high from the opening of the door bring it up a notch and you are there!

I have to admit I first came to Miss Muffin N Her Stuffin for the name alone. But I became a loyal customer at first bite! The service is always super friendly which is such a welcome change from the Brooklyn hustle and bustle in the morning. The lemon poppy seed is my favorite but go with your gut and try whatever muffin is jumping out at you, I have never been disappointed! When you hit that day when the muffin is still warm when you break it open....you, too, will be hooked!

Very tasty muffins. But sometimes they give me heartburn... They are good and tasty, and always so fresh, but they taste like they are made with oil, rather than cream and butter. (Which makes them keep all day and still taste good, as opposed to cream muffins, like those at Milk Bar.)
Very, very tasty chicken patties, too. In fact, the best tasting chicken patties I've had. The curry inside is nice and loose, the chicken tender. Delicious. Except... they are obviously made with bouillon cubes, which amps up the flavor... with MSG. If you know MSG mouth, you'll recognize it about twenty minutes after eating one... -

Oh Miss Muffin, I was so hungry, so adrift, so hesitant to try anything in the alien Park Slope landscape yet so eager to start discovering my new home. You listed off every type of muffin, gave me unnecessary and superfluous yet warming approval upon my selecting cranberry orange and inspired me to go the extra mile and try a cranberry oatmeal cookie as well. It was normal cookie sized, and normal cookie priced, and, while the muffin was a little overbuttered, the cookie was superb. Crisp on the outside yet subtlely chewy on the inside, tasty oatmeal without being too sweet, and garnished with just the right number of dried but not too tough cranberries. You wished me a good day about five times and because of you, Miss Muffin, it was indeed a good day. Though now I'm going to have to try to walk the last block to the subway with my eyes closed or else you're going to get way more of my business than I can afford.

A warm, moist carrot muffin first thing in the morning before hopping on the Q train is the best way to start the day!

best chocolate chip cookies in the brooklyn area. miss muffin is a quiet, nice woman who flies her caribbean flags proudly inside the shop. next to a barber shop where there are these old grandfathers in guayabera shirts chillin outside when it's warm out. closed on sundays. the beef patties are pretty good too.
