Very polite and friendly service, calm atmosphere.  Truly lovely people work here.

The food is good.  We've never been unhappy.  Price not bad.

You won't go wrong to eat here.

This was my first Thai experience and though I was hesitant to try it, I am sure glad I did.

Because of this place, Thai food is my favorite!!!! Wonderful location, menu, staff, and product! Though a little expensive, the proportions make up for it and you almost always go home with leftovers which are nearly as good as eating it in the actual restaurant. I have yet to find another Thai place that is anywhere near as good as this one!

You always have to be skeptical of restaurants in a shopping center right off the freeway. This place had a nice, authentic ambiance to it but the food was just not that good. We started off with won ton soup that was slightly to salty and nothing special. Our Pad Thai smelt bad and was really sticky. I read that their Pad Thai smelt bad in other reviews so it must be something they are using in their ingrediants. We also order beef and eggplanct dish and I thought the beef was overcook (chewy). The service was friendly but was slow.

If you like very flavorful food in a nice atmosphere with courteous service, then this restaraunt is for you.  We have eaten here many times over the years and have never been disappointed.  The value based on the qualify and quantity of food is well worth it.

This is my favorite Thai place in Dublin/Pleasanton so far.  When I'm trying new Thai places, I like to judge them on their Tom Yum Kai soup and Pad Thai dishes first.  It's hard to find a place that serves a solid Tom Yum soup with just the right amount of kick.  This place does it right...the perfect amount of sourness and heat for me.  Most of the other Thai places around here lack both.  Their Pad Thai was delicious too!  The noodles seemed more fresh than others I've tried, and it's a little more on the sweet side, which I like.

I recommend not coming here on any major holidays though.  We went here on Mother's Day and they were definitely understaffed.  The restaurant was packed and there were only 3 servers.  They were still very polite and friendly, but it took much longer to get the food and the check.

In the same tiny lot as Trader Joe's.  But I'd suffer through the parking headache for this place.  Has a big menu (with lots of pics) for a small place.  Lots of lunch specials to choose from.  But looks like your standard Thai dishes as far as I can tell.
A little disappointed they didn't have the pickled peppers at the table.  Tom Yum could of been a bit more intensive, either spice it up or sour it more.  I dare say the complementary soup was tastier.  But the grilled chicken was flavorful and the rice was spot on.
Will need to come back to try more.  Great little local spot!

Food was bad. Service was slow. My gfs 8 dollar shrimp dish only had 4 shrimps and my pad Thai had a funky smell. I think they used old tofu. Finally the spicy sauce so gross and old looking that I didn't even touch it.

Because my grandmother is photosensitive, it's always frustrating to be seated in strip mall restaurants with harsh white sunlight pouring through gaping windows. This restaurant, even at high noon, was private and dimly lit, with lots of cute lamps, shades, and decor.

My grandma and I split the yellow curry tofu and the tofu satay, and my grandpa ordered calamari.  The satay was really tasty; it's always nice to find places that don't make it with just chicken.  The curry was decent.  Cute little place, I'd come back.

Arguably the best Thai restaurant in the Tri-City. One of the best for sure. There is really nothing else to say. Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, Papaya Salad, Any Curry, Spring Rolls, Tom Yum, Tom Kha, ect. Get your fix.

    Yumminess!

This quaint thai restaurant, is right by the freeway. Google maps and GPS both got me lost on the direction to get here. but google maps was a little better at it.

The menu is E X T E N S I V E!!!  There are tons of vegetarian / pescatarian / meat choices for everyone. although the sheer size of the menu can be overwhelming for the newbie...

We had the #61, VEGETARIAN RED CURRY this was tasty! And served in a clay pot, over a small fire. a great presentation. a bit hit for us shorties at the dinner table. but still worth ordering!

#60 - PRAWN SCALLOP AND EGGPLANT ON A SIZZLING PLATE. this intrigued us, since I've never had a sizzling dish at a Thai place before. the eggplant was a bit mushy. but tastewise the dish was yummy. a bit on the sweeter side.

#69 - PAD THAI with PRAWNS - this was yummy too. and great as a leftover. just right, in amount of sauciness, not too wet or dry.

and for dessert I tried  the SWEET STICKY RICE WITH FRESH MANGO for the first time ever... omg! I can't believe I hadn't had this before?! the mango was a bit over ripe but i like the coconuttiness of the sticky rice. :) take a bit of each into your mouth and enjoy!

service was good, attentive, and they packed up the food for you when you've ordered too much.

Nice place. great for a date, or family night out.

I was craving some kind of curry, so I came here with my fellow yelpers Jade M. & Myra R. who also happen to be my co-workers!!

I liked that they had an extensive menu, but reading it kinda gave me a headache...it just seemed really busy with the background picture, so I just stuck to the lunch combination area...Anyways...I digress...

I opted for the yellow curry and garlic pork combination that came with some tapioca, corn, and coconut cream for dessert. It was the perfect amount of food, with there being some leftovers.

The yellow curry was nice and mellow and the coconut milk was not overwhelming...I added a bit of chile sauce and I was in heaven. The garlic pork had yummy bits of carmelized garlic in soy sauce. It was very tasty and yummy with some curry sauce on it.

My only complaint was that it was humid inside the restaurant...Weird right? I think it just needed better ventilation. Service could have been a tad faster, but overall our food was freshly cooked and tasty. I will be coming back!

    Really a 2.5 star.

Came here last night for dinner and was somewhat disappointed.  Here's what we ordered:

The Thai Salad with cucumber, tomato, tofu with peanut dressing
Basil  "chow fun" (I'm not sure what the Thai name for it is)
The honey marinated grilled BBQ pork
    Pad Thai

The good:  Pad Thai and the Basil "Chow fun".  Both were prepared extremely well and had great flavors.  Both dishes came out hot, fresh and taste great!

The bad:  The Salad and Honey marinated grilled pork.  I'm not sure if in Thailand they serve their salad warm but our salad was really warm.  I'm not sure if they store their produce near the oven or what but our lettuce and cucumbers were warm or slightly above room temperature.  The only thing cold was the tomato.  The honey marinated pork was horrible.  It was two VERY thin fillet of pork loin slightly grilled and extremely tough (almost like chewing on paper).  The dish was not very hot and the sauce was just slopped on after the pork was cooked.

I was really disappointed with my meal here.  Although service was good I think I I would only come back for the pad Thai but skip the other two dishes ordered.

I had almost given 3.5 stars....but have had better Thai food. I had ordered chicken curry....is was ok, but didn't really have much taste to it. Has almost all the same items as any Thai Restaurant, will go back and try something different next time.

This is the only local Thai place I've tried and it's o.k. Three stars because the portions are small for the price. Green curry was great, Pad Thai with prawns....not so much. Might give it another star if my next visit is better, but for now I'm looking for something else.

I have been waiting to write this review, because this restaurant is by far the BEST Thai food restaurant that I know of, and I wanted to make sure the review did this place justice.

My family and I have been eating here for years, and originally ate at its location on Alcosta and San Ramon Rd (before they moved)...

Anyhow, this place is cute and good for couple and groups alike. It has a cute decorating style, and I've been there when they've had live harp music as well.

The staff is exceptional. They dress in beautiful Thai clothing, they are very personable and friendly, and they do a great job.

The food is delicious... such a wonderful mix of flavors. I found out that the wife owner lady makes all the bases for the curries and sauces and such for both their Pleasanton and Dublin locations.

This is seriously quality Thai food. You will not be disappointed. A definite must try if you live in the East Bay. Furthermore, if you have not tried Thai food and are weary of a first experience, this restaurant is a great one to "de virginize" your taste buds at because the owners/wait staff are so sweet and helpful.

I've only been here for dinner, but I'm sure it's great for lunch too.

    Oh yum.

Felt like getting Thai last night so my buddy, Milan, and I decided trying this place since neither of us have never been. Walked in and everything was a very Thai theme which wasn't a bad thing (just very dark inside). After we sat down our waitress brought us this bubble like chips which were suppose to dipped in a sauce that gave it a nice spicy yet tasty kick. Their menu choices are much better than most place since it wasn't Americanized Thai food.

We got an order of the:
    - chicken, onion, and ect. pockets (fried) - I can't remember the name
    - pad thai
    - peanut sauce curry
    - deep fried banana with vanilla ice cream

For the entire meal for two people it was about $30 not including tip. The service was quick andour waitress was prompt on making sure everyone at all tables had a filled glass and satisfied.

Don't get me wrong, I like the food.  Enough to give it 3 stars.  Which, in my book equals decent passable lunchtime fare.

I want to give them 3 stars, but the cockroach under my plate just did them in.  Granted, he was only a little one.  He was a fast bugger though.  It took three of us to corner it and dispatch him with the bottom of a water glass.  Where there's one - there's bound to be more.  They are pretty gregarious and hang out in packs.  Sort of like High School girls.

Anyhow, the whole sad scene was witnessed by the waitress who apologized nicely enough - and brought out a free fried banana desert for us (instead of comping the meal, which I feel she should have done).  But it looked like a big fried cockroach and we couldn't eat it.

For food: 3 stars.  I like the Little Home Thai Fried rice, the Pad See Yu and the Sates.  The soups are good too.

For cleanliness: 1 Star.  If you are clean and rotate supplies like you are supposed to, there are no roaches.

For service: 3 stars.  Fast and efficient and friendly.

My post traumatic stressful memories keep me from returning.

I hardly ever come out to this area, but one of my good friends happens to live here and this is where she takes me for my first lunch in this town.

Their menu has a lot to offer and with photos too.  Although it was a little hard to read due to the dim lighting.

I ordered the ho-moke-talay:  Basa fillet in spicy red curry with coconut milk, sweet basil, bell pepper and lemon grass.  Ok, whenever I order a curry dish, I'm used to it being saucy.  This was completely different than what I imagined.  It was basically minced minced fish mixed with all those ingredients mentioned above...then shaped to something like a madeleine cookie and cooked in a clay dish.  It was just alright.  I don't think I'd order it again.  My friend ordered some flat noodle chicken and veggie dish which was super tasty. Next time, I think I'll order something I'm more familiar with so I wouldn't be negatively surprised.

Also, we were the first dine in customers 4:30pm (the were open for lunch hour till 3pm and reopen for dinner at 4:30).  Even though we were the only dine-in customers, the wait staff wasn't that attentive.  Our glasses of water weren't checked and when it was time for the bill, my friend had to get up from her seat and ask for the check.

I love yelp updates! It makes me feel like I can give a place a better rating at a later time (if deserved, that is)

Came here today for a work lunch and this time I steered clear of the bbq chicken and got the boneless roast duck over spinach, broccoli & rice...it was the perfect amount and it was good! I polished it off!

Service was attentive this time around to our large party! I'll be back.

I was out in the tri valley area, and came here for dinner and had a major craving for some Thai food, yelp once again to the rescue to help us solve our indecisiveness.  We walked in and got seated fairly quickly, there were a lot of choices for the menu, both carnivore and vegetarian options.

Chicken Satay - Chicken was moist, and had a nice char on it.  My g/f loves the peanut sauce that it came with.  I didn't try it, not because I didn't want to.  I just didn't was to well... die.  Peanut allergy aside, pretty decent way to start the meal.

Dancing Beef - Nice hardy, beefy.  At first when we ordered it, I was imagining a scene of mine back in japan, when I ate the dancing shrimp.  Only the shrimp was still alive when I ate it and it danced all the way down.  I quiver in fear whenever I think of this moment.  This dancing dish was much better, and thankfully for me, not moving.  They piled it on, portions here are pretty good!

Dinner Combination - This restaurant had a pretty cool menu option, you pick two items of the menu and you pay a flat entree price.  Pretty much pick what you are in the mood for, giving you quite a few combinations.  We had the Kang Karee Kai (Yellow Curry) which was pretty good, tasted like any normal yellow curry.  The second thing we had in the combo plate was the Pad Eggplant, which was awesome.  The eggplant was not overcooked and soggy, it had a nice crispiness to the skin and a tender center, the sauce had a nice spiciness to it.

Overall, the food here was pretty good, I liked the variety and liked the options you could do with the combo plate.  Service was very attentive, they kept refilling our water, tea pot and rice.   I enjoyed the nice quiet, intimate interior as well.  Ill be back next time I'm in the area.

Intro: I've been coming here for years. After my most recent visit, I suppose a review is in order.

Ambiance: The parking lot is a bit of a hassle during the busy hours with its limited and tiny spaces, shared with lots of other retail shops. The entrance is a bit small and can cause some crowding if a wait is required, but I've never run into this problem. The decor of the front end is fairly nice and filled with Thai-style decor. That, unfortunately, diminishes toward the rear of the dining room, where the space dissolves into a more ambiguous area. It doesn't provide a real classy feel, but it's nice enough for what they tried to accomplish.

Service: It's been on and off but never really hit the extremes. I've never seen it exemplary but I've never seen it very bad. Sometimes the servers look like they really don't want to be there and other times they are happy to help.

Food: I think the menu suffers a bit from being overly extensive (menu goes on for pages), but the food they serve out is delicious. The flavors are spiced very well though perhaps not as strong as the more "authentic" Thai places around. I've never had any complaints about the food.

Value: They give enough to fill up but not stuff the average person. Lunch can be had for under $9 pre-tax and tip.

Conclusion: This place is, in my opinion, the best Thai place in the immediate vicinity that I have tried yet.

I saw a roach crawling up the wall one time; but has that stopped me from eating there? HECK NO. The food is delicious (and I've tried many Thai rest.) Must be magic, or  the sodium. I drank at least 2 full glasses of water with my meal, and another 2 glasses after.

I always order the same combination - L22 Spicy Ground Chicken and L20 Fish Cakes. Gosh, I'm looking forward to having lunch tomorrow ...

After shopping at Trader Joe's next door I decided I wanted to get my grub for the night.  Debating between the Little Thai place next door and korean food at Korea Garden BBQ a short drive away, I called the Korea Garden BBQ place first.  No answer, so it made my decision to try the Little Home Thai Cuisine restaurant next door.

I ordered my food for take out.

Stepping foot into the door I approach the front counter.  I picked up a pamphlet which I thought was their take out menu, but ended up being a promotional brochure for a local business.   I thought, fine, maybe there's another menu around this counter...aha!  Found their dine in menu.  I picked it up, there was quite a number of selections.  I knew exactly what I wanted.  A simple spicy fried rice and Tom Yum Kai soup, my favorites at thai restaurants!

I'm standing at the front counter and a staff member asks me "Are you ready to order?"  I smile and say yes.  He tells me "go to the counter in the back."  I found the way he told me to go to the back counter a little rude, but went ahead anyway.  I stood there at the back counter for about 4 minutes.  Then finally another staff member takes my order.

I ordered the L50. Little Home Fried Rice.
"Fried rice with chicken, egg, cashew nuts, pineapple, tomatoes, and onions."   I made a special request to order it spicy and without cashew nuts.

I also ordered the 26. Tom Yum Kai
"Hot and sour chicken soup with mushrooms, galanga, tomatoes, and lemon grass and a touch of lime juice."

After paying for my order, the staff member walked off.  I'm thinking, okay this is odd.  He didn't tell me how long it would take.  So I stood there until he returned and asked how long it would take, he said 10-15 minutes.

15 minutes later, I walk in.  Food was ready.  They were prompt and estimated the time well.  I was happy.

When I went home, I open the bag and there weren't any napkins or utensils.  Usually when you order anything to go, they would give you napkins or utensils.

The tom yum kai, had a really good spice and sour level.  The mushrooms though, I don't think were washed well.  Half way through the soup I felt something grainy in my soup, similar to sand.  I stopped there.

Then working on my Little Home Fried Rice, I open it up and saw a bunch of little black things in my fried rice.  They did follow my request of not putting in cashews, but they must have added in raisins as a substitute because on the menu they did not list raisins as one of the ingredients.  I asked for it to be "spicy" but it came out more like a medium spice level.   ***after reading the reviews about cockroach sightings, my stomach is now upset with me.***

I didn't finish much of my food.  The fried rice was disgusting.  I ended up wasting $17 and some change on what I thought would be a nice splurge on dinner for myself on a Sunday evening.

Another disappointment close to home and I was a bit surprised about this because of the positive reviews this restaurant received.

    Service - Sucks.
Food - Soup tastes good, but has dirty ingredients.  It's fine if you like dirty soup.
Fried rice - yuck, barf, gag.

Atmosphere - Some thai art.  Nice cozy dining area.  They have a small area of thai gifts for sale, you can see right into their kitchen (dirty).

Parking - For dinner, very easy.

Price - Not too expensive, but for the quality of food, absolutely they are over charging.

Will not be going here again.

Okay so I went backwards.  After many recommendations from friends to try Little Home Thai we actually tried their new location in Tralee first. A week ago we went to lunch with friends and tried this location by Trader Joes since it was closer for two of the couples.

To explain this awkward meal in short: my thai iced tea was served with curdled half and half floating on top, which the server explained away as it being a result of how cold they keep their fridge.  Okay...push that to the side.  Three of the group shared a pot of hot and sour soup but floating on top of one of the portioned bowls was a huge black fly.  We all quickly lost our appetites and mostly picked at our food for the rest of the meal. Mine was the Pad Kee Mao with beef and was kind of a sloppy mess. (I think it's supposed to be that way and again another failed attempt at a thai noodle dish). My husband's yellow curry and garlic pork was actually really good, he was the winner this meal, although they never delivered his tea.

To make up for the fly our server brought two servings of fried bananas with coconut ice cream which was delicious, but let's face it: it's hard to forget a fly.

The last time we came here I found hair in 2 of the 4 dishes that we ordered.  Disgusted, I told the waitress, and she accused me of putting the hair in the dish!!

We barely ate any food, were insulted, and immediately left.  The waitress even tried to make us pay for the food!!  I showed the hair to the cook and the other server, and they just looked at each other with blank faces.

They didn't let us leave without paying, so we paid, and left the food sitting on the table.  We couldn't believe it!  They probably tried to give the food to another couple if they ordered something that we had.

We will never go to this place again.

Gotta love lunch specials! Complete meals with soup for $7.95!

I enjoyed my green chicken curry with the side of roti bread, yum-yum!

    Service was great.

First of all, I know for a fact that this thai food is authentic, because I know they owners and they are super Thai haha.

Their food is good, but not great. I've ordered several dishes that I didn't like, and several other dishes that I like, but I don't absolutely love. I do recommend the drunken noodles, though, if your'e one for spicy. :) Those are pretty frickin delicious haha

The service at this place, unfortunately, is fairly lacking. They need more servers. I know its a family-run restaurant, so I think they only have family working there... but they need some more family members, or they need to hire a couple waiters because it can get really slow, even if we do have connections to the owners. :(

It's an okay Thai place. I've had better, and I've had worse.

I've lived in the area for 6 years and I pass by this restaurant almost every day while dropping my kids off at the kindercare around the corner and shopping at the Trader Joe's in the same complex.

I've always wanted to try out this local, family owned, Thai restaurant to support our local business.

    Boy was I surprised!!!

The decor seems very traditional / authentic Thai.  I really felt as if I was no longer in the Pleasanton / Dublin area.

I'm not a Thai cuisine expert by any means, but the food was absolutely fantastic.  The soup was huge.  The portions were medium to large.

My guess and I had lots to talk about that evening and we never felt rushed, nor did we feel like we were inconveniencing the staff.  By the time we looked at our watches, it was closing time, and never once, did anyone politely reminded us of the time.

The food was great.  The atmosphere was very nice.  I am shocked that I have not visited this restaurant sooner.

    I will definitely come back...

Was traveling on business earlier this week and was in the mood for some Thai food. Yelp to the rescue again!

    Spicy Chicken Wings
    - Decent portion, 6 - 8 pieces of wings
    - Wings weren't super fresh
    - Sauce had a slight kick and the fried noodles on the bottom was a nice touch

    Pad Kee Mao Prawns
    - Huge portions
    - Not a fan of the cabbage and carrots that were throughout the dish
    - Medium Spicy was exactly to my liking!

Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream
    - Smaller Fried Banana
    - Coconut Ice Cream was super creamy and had chunks of Coconut

    ...Waitresses were "high quality!" ;)

It was odd, halfway through our meal, they turned off half of the lights in the restaurant...to save electricity due to a quiet evening?

Came here during lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. For being in Pleasanton, this place was nearly full!!

The lunch specials are what you should come in here for! Their deals are amazing! A wide selection of food for just $7.95-$8.95 for lunch! You get a handful of food, all of which taste so good!! We ordered the green curry and the pad-kee-mow! Very good! The green curry came with a small bowl of curry, rice and these fried bread things that tasted kinda like banana (HELLA GOOD!!). Its a good portion for lunch at a decent price. The Pad-Kee-Mow came in a huge sharable portion in a cute little fish dish. I was hoping for the chow fun noodles, but it came in chow mein style noodle with generous pieces of chicken and vegetables.

I like this place due to it's decor. You really get a sense of Thai cuisine when the atmosphere suggests it.

    This is a must!

For the area, this is one of the best Thai places in the Tri-Valley.  With that being said, none of the dishes here have ever disappointed me, my best friend and I keep this place in rotation when we meet up to do dinner and catch up.

Our favorites are the dancing beef and the pad-eggplant, but their noodle dishes are pretty damn tasty too!  Oh and their fried banana with coconut ice cream is the bomb!

OMG. I LOVE their green curry! So delish that I want to lick my plate (and I would if I was at home).

You wouldn't expect this place to be so big and nicely decorated until you go inside.

It wasn't very busy when we went on a weeknight but we definitely enjoyed our meals.

It would be nice though if each curry dish actually came with rice instead of having to pay for it. I think when my dish is over $10, it should come with at least a small bowl...is that too much to ask?

My coworker and I have been eating here for years and I have to say I have never been disappointed. Even when I became a vegetarian I found a wide array of options. The green curry is really good but I go out of my way to get the Pad se yoo (sp?). The service is sometimes pokey but always friendly. I love this place.

Wow. I love the BBQ pork chops. The bbq pork was soooooo delicious. Sweet and juicy and tender. Just right. Must try.

The roasted duck curry was yummy too. Goes with white rice is the perfect match.

Really good Thai in a strip mall.

We were in a rush to catch a show, so our friend went ahead and ordered for all of us before we even sat down.  The food started coming quickly.  We had a green curry (yummy), a seafood noodle salad (quite spicy and addicting), beef and chicken satay (good peanut sauce), and a chicken and vegetable dish (delicious).

I liked the ambiance, and everything we had was tasty!  I think we had to ask to get our water refilled, but the service was friendly.  I'd certainly recommend the place.

I am giving this place 5 stars because they have good food, good decor, and professionalism.  I love the curries.  The two times I have been there I noticed they also have efficient service with amiable wait staff.  On one occasion, I think every time I took two sips from my water, someone came by to refill it.  And last of all, when you eat in this restaurant, it is decorated in a way that makes you feel as you have traveled to Thailand. It also has a cozy feel with all the curtains and pictures and statues.  And I love it when the food is served in something other than plain white bowls. I am pretty sure this restaurant had some interesting serving platters!
All in all I will be back many times with my husband or with a group of friends.
