This place makes me smile.  :-)

Little China has become my go-to Chinese delivery spot, in my neighborhood so the delivery is always fast.  I've only ever ordered delivery, so I don't have anything to say about the dine-in experience.  The food comes well packaged - no spilled sauces on the bottom of the bag or food sliding out of the containers.  The delivery is free too, which is awesome, with only a 12 buck minimum.  4 mile radius only.

As for the food.... the portions are huge.  They give you an obscene amount of steamed rice with your main entree.   The spice was just right (I always ask for it spicy and it is usually spot on).  The mini-platter is a huge appetizer I like to order because we can try a bit of everything - perfect for two with big appetites or several to sample one of the four appetizers packaged neatly.

The food is steaming hot when I get it, and the veggies are crisp.  I am particularly fond of the shrimp. It's not gourmet, of course, but it's perfect for a Tuesday night when I want delivery that's tasty and reliable.

Service was quick. I ordered a wonton soup and shrimp fried rice because there was a $12 min for free delivery. My order came pretty fast and my food was so hot that I burned my tongue. But that's a good thing I guess. The soup wasn't overly salted and had a variety of veggies hiding in there. The slices of pork were tender. The shrimp fried rice was tasty and the shrimp was not overcooked (big plus). The fried rice had a lot of flavor-- maybe a tad too much soy sauce but I still enjoyed it verry much. Definitely big enough portions to make 2-3 meals. I usually don't like to order Chinese food from other places given that my dad's a chef... but if you're craving Chinese food around this area, I'd suggest Little China!

Their food is above okay, not the best, but Holy MOLY they are super affordable and they give LARGE Portions. So if you have to worry about feeding everyone in your group and having them be satisfied, go with this place. I'd order from here again.

So my co-workers and I decided to try this place out for lunch because its right down the street from where we work. The server is this older Asian lady and she just told us to sit anywhere. Looking at the menu we saw sooo many things we wanted to try but settled on the Cream Cheese Wontons......DEE-LISH!!! One of my co-workers ordered the Mongolian Chicken and the other ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster sauce and let me tell you this place knows how to cook shrimp! They were cooked to perfection and drowned in lobster sauce. My co-workers also loved their dishes.

Also these dishes were part of their lunch specials which include rice, and and egg roll.

I order from Little China at least twice a week on average.

Their soups are marvelous. Specifically the hot & sour, like I could swim in a vat of it and still never get enough.

There is a surprisingly strong (and tasty) curry on the menu that is a don't miss.

Also, their lunch specials are large portions, freshly made, and, if you order delivery, timely.

    Highly recommend.

Coworkers are here all the time, but I've always resisted...until today.

I was pleased to find that this little restaurant is clean, friendly, and well-priced.  As expected, the food is designed for gringos, but the taste and quality of the food is definitely a step up from some of the other places around here.  (Comparable to City Wok and better than Chin Chin's, which has always been crap.)

I had the special pan fried noodles with chicken (he fun), $8.95.  It was pretty good, packed with onions, bean sprouts, MSG, and a very generous serving of noodles.  Enough for 2-3 people, actually.  Coworkers had kung pao chicken and wonton soup (which looked especially good).  The lunch specials are very reasonably priced - entree + rice + egg roll + soup for $6.95 or less.

Service was great - one lady was holding down the fort and still managed to take care of refills and check on us a couple of times.

Parking can be a bitch, but there are some spaces underground if you arrive early enough.

I was staring out my office window at Panda's roof thinking "I want Chinese" but could not bring myself to actually go back there again so I checked YELP.  I had no idea Little China was there so I thought I'd give it a try.

It's a small restaurant but I intended to do takeout regardless. Looks like they do A LOT of take out business b/c that counter was moving. From walking in clueless to walking out w/ food only took about 10 mins tops.

The garlic beef was labeled as spicy but I'm not really sure who would have thought so. None the less it was pretty good and served it's purpose. Based on other mentions, I'll stick around and try the soup next time.

For a pretty good, quick, inexpensive non-Panda option - this definitely does the job.

First time here and good lord did I stuff myself...
I guess it is true what they say when they say "Go Big or Go Home" than again this is how my family always eats when we eat together. I guess this is where I developed as a foodie since I was a young lad before Yelp was even christened.
The plaza has ample parking but it seems like they were meant for compact cars. Oh well, when you find a spot and think you can fit, GET IT!
This place is not the biggest place but it sure makes up for size in the healthy portions they serve you.
I was very pleased with my meal and glad we beat the lunch hour rush that packed this tiny restaurant.
    would I go back?
Sure will, even though we order a lot there were a couple items that never made the table

I called and ordered delivery from Little China.  The food arrived hot, packed well, and tasted awesome.  Minimum delivery charge is only $12.  I ordered the chicken with broccoli from their "healthy" menu, with garlic sauce on the side.  I loved the food, and the fried spring rolls were very good too.  I'll definitely be ordering again.

Ive worked by this place for almost 9 years and I finally tried it because I was craving Chinese and YELP told me where to go!
Not too busy...fairly quiet...only 2 other tables were occupied when we walked in.
The lady (owner?) sat us and gave us menus.  She came back took our order.  We ordered the cream cheese wontons......but she told us that they take a long time so she went to put that order in before she took our food order.
She came back and took our lunch order (sweet/sour chicken, mongolian chicken, shrimp w/ lobster sauce and rice of course).
Within 5 minutes (no joke!) the food PLUS our wontons were at our table.
IDK how this place cooks up their food so quickly but I was happy because I was starving and the food was GOOD!
Our lunch specials came w/ Hot/Sour soup and an eggroll.
The soup was good...not  a lot of vinegar like other places usually are.
Service was awesome & outstanding.  She was very nice and was always smiling.  I left BLOATED...and w/ the "itis"....as Chinese food usually does~!
Little China was good and cheaper than the chinese places around the area (Panda Express (blah!) and City Wok).

I will definitely be back here!!

Little China is my preferred chinese food delivery place!   Their delivery is fast fast fast, and courteous.  The food is solid, the prices are reasonable, and they have a good lunch special Monday through Saturday.
Twice Cooked Pork is solid, Mongolian Chicken and good staples like Mu Shu and won ton soup are all atop the list at this simple yet decent chinese place.  Is all the orange chicken and fried rice the resason I'm getting fat?  hmmm...

It's nice to find a reliable Chinese restaurant, since there are so many cheap, bad ones here in LA.  I haven't been disappointed yet from their food.  My favorites are the wontons, sweet and sour pork and curry chicken.  Affordable, yummy and fast, friendly service.

Delicious Chinese food at unbelievably cheap prices. Gotta love the garlicky paper-wrapped chicken for $3.95 and I appreciate finding East Coast-style potstickers with the thick dough (everywhere else around here uses the shiny, rubbery kind).

Little China Chicken is the same as the Orange Chicken but with white meat instead of dark. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the finer Chinese food places/delivery whatevers around. Honestly, I live in DT L.A. but I work right near the place so I'd rather order THERE, commute with the food, and then eat it at home, rather than hunt around for a local haunt near my place. The food is just that good.

Don't let my words fool you. It's not like "WOW, I'm never eating anywhere ever again.." But it IS food of quality and they've got good prices and give a lot for their portions. If you order the full, and you're just eating even for three, you've still got leftovers for one the day after.

I even went in there with the dog I was dogsitting for a couple days and they didn't yell at me to get out or anything like that. So that's good if you're one of those girls that ALWAYS needs to have her little "Tinkerbell" with her (or him, ya never know in this town).

The place itself to dine leaves a lot to be desired though (do not come here for a romantic atmosphere!) It's really white, cracks places.. the chairs and tables only mean to suit a utilitarian purpose and not at all aesthetic or Chinese-theme related. It's pretty small too, so don't think about bringing a crapload of people to eat here (and certainly not little kids. Please. Adults dine here). Best just to have them deliver or pick up.

So rather than take a gamble, I stick with what I know and what I know is Little China.

    Summary:

    Good prices.
    Good food.
    Good portions.
    Nice people/fast service.
    Pets ok.

And my work always has them for delivery (both work and personal) and their experience with them has been: speedy, speedy, speedy. These guys will break a sweat to bring your food to you on time if not a little bit early! :D Way to go, LC! (Warning though: the delivery, like everywhere else, is a bit limited. Best to call and see if you're close enough...otherwise pickup or pick another place!)

Doesn't live up to the title on it's menu "Gourmet", but that doesn't stop me from eating here.  To be honest its a bit of a mixed bag. Some dishes are excellent and others are...not so fine. Though I don't dig the shrimp dishes here that I've tried, due to their saturation in corn starch, the shrimp is always of good quality, never fishy. Dishes I find excellent are the Wonton Soup and their Garlic Pork (or beef). Half order of Garlic Pork was plenty of food for one piggy person like me. Saw them packing up a noodle dish tonight that looked pretty yummy and fresh. Maybe I'll try one of those next  if I can get myself to stop ordering the Wonton Soup. Delivery guy rocks. He offered me a ride home one night and it wasn't even creepy.

This is one of those diamond in the rough hole in the wall places that you are lucky to find.  The food is great.  The lunch special is killer and you are so full afterwards.  The staff is quick and precise.  The food is cooked fresh and to order - no microwaves here!  One thing though, they used to have a beautiful wraparound mirror, but apparently it cracked, so now there is this trailer looking painting of a panda.  The hot and sour soup is among the best I've ever had, anywhere.

I have been going to Little China for over 12+ years now.  I can not put into words how great this place is.  Tucked in a little strip mall, I must have driven by it 100 times before chancing it.  But it only took one visit to turn me into a massive fan.  For the price there is nobody in LA who comes close to their food.   Delivery or Pick Up, this is your place!

There is little that I wouldn't recommend here and over the years have tried everything on the menu!  I have moved out of the neighborhood but every time I am close it pulls me in like a magnet.

It is all family owned and although very shy staff, they are wonderful people who I am nothing short of being glad to give them my business.  But again, the food here is just to die for and comes in large portions.  You wont be sorry.

RUDE and INCOMPETENT. FOOD BLAND. We ordered from there on a Tuesday and didn't get charged delivery and the food was decent, nothing great. My garlic shrimp was good, but the kung pao chicken was BLAND. I thought I'd give them another try and boy was I disappointed. They took over and hour to get here on a week day afternoon and they're 5 miles away...the guy got lost and called me, told me i said it was a house and there was no apt number, um hello? You're an idiot. Of course I didn't say it was a house and I ordered from you before! He finally comes up after I refuse to go down in the rain and charged me delivery! the guy told me there would be no delivery charge over 12 dollars! They guy ranted and raved that I'm too far and he's never been here before( even though I JUST ordered from them less than a week ago! Morons!) So I paid $15 for a very mediocre lunch, soup was totally tasteless and no sauce for the egg roll. STAY AWAY.

Best orange chicken EVER!!!!! (well atleast in LA)  The Little China Chicken is actually orange chicken made with white meat but you can't get a 1/2 order of that for delivery and a whole one is WAY too much (perfect for 2 people, maybe even 3 not so hungry people) so I usually end up getting a half order of the orange chicken.  The sauce is so flavorful! But beware the whole red chilies and orange rind mixed in.  So delicious and so cheap for so much food!
