I've frequented a lot of different hair cut places over the years and this one is a great one.
Great prices. Nice people. Easy access.
I cut my hair monthly, so it's a good fit for me.
My hair cut $10 ***** I love it!
-Oval layers, left and right side bangs
My highlights $65 ***** I LOVE IT NOW!
-I thought this was a love and hate relationship with my new hair style... but now its ALL LOVE.
-all over... I didn't like it as first, and my mom said it looks "not so good"
but all I ever get from people was "it looks great!" I've learned to style it quick, and I've grew to love it.
I tipped her $10
Thanks Lisa for giving me such a wonderful new look. I can't believe I almost gave you a 2 star during the first couple days after I got my hair done. Sorry about that.

After going to Hair City today thinking its near by it should be okay.... stupid witch fcuked up my… Read more »
We went there on Sunday with our rebellious toddler, not sure if dad can get a cut as well depending on how will it go with the little one.
We didn't wait log and one of the ladies gave our son a hair cut and she was very nice and with lots of patience. Our boy gave her a good fight but she still managed to keep her cool and do a good job and dad got a hair cut as well which is always good.
In general, it's a cheap quick and easy haircut - couldn't ask for more...
Nope. I've been here quite a few times and they don't listen to me when I saw "low-fade." I point out where to stop the fade and tell them to taper it out a little. They look at me with a confused look and start talking in some language to another and proceed to give me the general buzzcut. I really need to start going to barbers that speak/understand plain english.
The problem with me is, I don't wanna spend more than 10 bucks on a haircut. I guess I do get what I pay for.
Ey. Screw this place!!!
I remember when i really wanted cute bangs a long time ago. I came in a happy camper anxiously waiting as my new side bangs would be trimmed... One of these salon ladies instead of doing my hair was getting distracted from some Santa clause guy coming in while simultaneously swiping my hairr off.
When she was done and swiveled around the chair for me to look... there could have been horror music from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie...
My friends couldn't even say anything because my bangs look so BAD.
that lady should NEVER be allowed by scissors. Plus i shed tears.
Usually as long as my hair doesn't reveal the Frankenstein in me, I couldn't care less where to get my haircut. Today is no exception. I dropped by Honda Peninsula Ducati to pick up some sweet Valentine's day gifts for my RC51, and decided to go in for a haircut just because I parked in a slot clearly marked as "Haircut".
$8 for a guy's haircut. That my friend, is CHEAP. I don't recall spending $8 on a haircut since graduate school. It makes you wonder if America has gone back to the golden standard.
And it's actually the best haircut I've had since I moved up here from LA. Instead of plowing an electric hair clipper into my head and call it a day, she actually used scissors to finish up.
I dropped a 50% tip and promised to go back. No more Super Cuts after this.
I've been getting my hair cut by Lisa since Feb 1993. That's over 16 years! Be sure to make an appointment because I bring in my entire family to all get hair cuts here....me + wife + three kids. You'll wait over an hour for Lisa to give us all hair cuts.
Consistenly good haircut. The prices are great - $8 a cut. The ladies are all very nice. I get the feel they really appreciate your business. I will continue to go here even if they mess up a little.
Very affordable for a pretty good haircut. I don't need anything fancy, and get a nice quick cut from Tina, who's super nice. Been going since I moved to MV in July, and I see no reason to change. It can get busy, so call ahead to make an appt, it's just easier.
After reviewing this place...I have been there atleast thrice..only in the hope that the last screwed up job would get better this time..but nope..they have become crappy and crappy each time...there is a section of my hair that never got snipped..despite pointing it out to the person who cut..They just look at it and say its done..and then start speaking in their own language and laughing..they always mock at their customers in their mother tongue..and the girls are a huge chatter box not interested in their work at all...Lisa I think is the only one who does a decent job...I think I would give her a try one last time..and then I guess I am done with this place...Sure its cheap but I would like quality as well..Its pretty much your luck..sometimes they are good..sometimes you would curse the moment you walked into this place...

Ask for Thanh...she does the best job...and she takes her time....no matter how packed her lobby is...she will give you all of her attention and give you the best haircut. I suggest Tuesday in the afternoon before lunch or Thursday afternoon around the same time.
You can't beat their price or attention to detail...
When you're going to an $8 haircut, you don't really expect much. You know they're going to spend no more than 15 minutes or so, but you just expect a competent job. You expect them to do what you say (e.g. "tapered on the sides", "half inch of the top", etc.) Not at this place. This was the worst haircut I have ever received. It was not worth any price. In fact, I had something important to go to 4 days later, and I wish I hadn't gotten my hair cut at all. This is the first time I've ever felt that way.
I gave specific instructions to the hair cut guy, he repeated them, and then proceeded to whack my hair in a way I never asked for. He knew he screwed up, but pretended like it was fine. The women hair stylists who worked there looked over, not really caring, especially the one with the overdone boob job, who appears to be the head of the place.
I actually waited two weeks to write this review because (1) I was so upset on the day I got it cut that I didn't think I could possibly write a fair review and (2) I wanted to see how my hair "grew out". Well, it's two weeks later and it looks terrible.
If you do go here -- and I advise you not to -- you should follow the herd and ask for the woman with the overdone boob job. You'll spend 2 hours waiting your turn with her, but you might get a decent hair cut. Apparently some people do, or there wouldn't be a long wait for her.
I was there again today, Tina still does a great job!!!

I've been coming here for 7 years. Tina is great and gives the greatest haircuts that are clean and impeccable. On top of that, she goes the extra mile and shampoos my hair. If Tina is not there, then I go to Lisa. Great Price $8/hair cut
A good haircut at a good price, that says it all.
For $8, this place can't be beat. I have always gone to Tina, and sometimes it's busy, but you can make appointments. Tina gives good advice about what will look good or work with my hair and no matter what she does, the cut is good. She's also very quick. I'll be back. Thanks, Tina!!
First of all, I patronize Lisa's Perfect Cuts in Mountain View, not the one in downtown Sunnyvale (as do all the folks who mention Tina below; this is the salon reflected on google map). Of the 4 local places that I tried in MV and SV when I first moved down from SF, Lisa's Perfect Cut has been the best. So I've been coming here for 5 years and have always been impressed with the speed and quality of the service. My favorite is Thanh, and she is very meticulous with all the callics that pepper my hair (my hair is like freakin' maze!).
Just got my haircut by Tina here...it's my second visit since I am new to the Bay Area. She did an amazing job...and need I say again, all for 8 dollars! I was wearing my office shirt, which I took off before the cut. Tina was nice enough to clean around my neck so I wouldn't be feeling the prickly sensation around my neck for the rest of the day. I'm happy and will definitely be returning soon!
it's cheap $7
they cut your hair how you tell them to
they take reservations and honor them
and, on the plus side, there's good indian food nearby (madras cafe).
I find the service here to be excellent. It's quick. It's inexpensive. The haircuts I've received there are very good.
