Three effin stars for always making me sober after clubbin or night out with friends. First time I went here,I was hella drunk as fcuk! lmao! My friends dragged me here at almost 3 a.m and the place was,can I say sardine-packed! haha! We ordered sinigang na baboy-tamarind concocted sour soup with pork, inihaw na baboy-grilled marinated pork-a must try! so tender, juicy and very flavorful!,crispy pata-deep fried pork knuckles-okay were like hella ordering heart attacks on a plate lol, mami and siopao bola bola-the siopao was kinda dry,i don't really know if i was just drunk or what, well anythin taste hella good when you're drunk hahaha!,tapsilog was a lil bit tough but still scrumptious, and the service was a lil kinda slow bcuz there's like 2-3 people waiting on tables.

I ordered chinese rice cakes-Mmmm!,salted peanuts-Yum-oh!,and some Seniorita bread which is hella yummy in my tummy for breakfast! :]

And oh! The ladies that serves there always remembers customers, when I always come in,they be 'greetin me in Tagalog,"KAMUSTA ATE? LASING KA NA NAMAN?!"-"WHATS UP? ARE YOU DRUNK AGAIN?".. =P

Wow! WTF happened to this place?

I remember years ago this place was hopping. It was busy and you might even wait for a table at 11pm. We went to dinner tonight 6:30pm on a Friday night and only a couple tables were filled.

After tonight's experience it's easy to see why.

First, the staff was, save one exception, strangely detached, almost 100% indifferent.. Really, they don't seem to care if you enter, if you leave, if you are coming, if you're going, if you are waiting to be served, if you want to pay your bill, whatever. They don't care.... and that's a terrible place to be if you're in the hospitality/restaurant business.

I ordered the adobo silog and my wife ordered the beef chow fun.

The adobo arrived lukewarm. It was about how they serve it in the Philippines, but not as hot (and to me that's not a good thing). Barely lukewarm. The garlic rice barely had any garlic or flavor. 2 eggs were cooked just right, loose with yolks runny, but the adobo was pretty dry, even for adobo.

The chow fun arrived ten minutes later with a smile and apology from the Chinese cook (the one exception to the zombie like treatment from everyone else). Flavor of the noodles was decent. But here's the killer. The beef was too salty. Normally that's bad but not a dinner killer, but the REASON, I suspect, the beef was over salted WAS. With each bite, I could taste the sour ammonia aftertaste rise up to the nose. Yep. The beef was gone. Maybe not make-you-sick gone, but that smell that if you smelled the raw beef from your fridge like that you'd throw it away (I hope!). I suspect the over salting was covering the fact that the beef was a few days past "not fresh" and well into "damn, does this smell?".

So after the two bites, we pushed all the beef to the side and made do with the noodles. Gross, yeah but we were super hungry.

Total bill for two dishes was $16 and a half.

I am never, ever, ever going back there again....and you know what? They probably could care less :D

3 stars for being open late night. I would give 1 star but it's the only place open after clubbing/ lounging  for  silog bite, besides Lucky Chances.

Food is not bad, it's great for absorbing alcohol that your body consumed, lol. I've been ordering the same O'L "tap" that ass silog ever since my City Nights Years back in 98.

The only downside is that the floor needs to be mopped. And I hate it when they seat us close to the bathroom door.

Ps. don't order the longsilog, when u burped it will fog up ur car window and it will leave the same stench in your vehicle. hehehe jk..peace.

I like this place because it's always open, even late in middle of the night. It's Filipino/ Chinese style restaurant. Came here with a friend because we were really hungry. We chose Ling Nam over Jollibee since we always eat there all the time. So Ling Nam just sounded better tonight.

I had the beef stewsilog. My friend had bisteksilog, and it was better than mine. My beef was a little too chewy for my taste. Next time I'm ordering what he had. It came with garlic rice, in my opinion it was delicious! I enjoy rice I must say. We also had the wonton soup which was okay. Soup was good, but the wonton could've be much better to be honest.

Service was fine, our food came out in 10 minutes. Cool place to eat, and did I say it's always open on the weekend?

Justs want to make it a short review for this resto since I was so hungry when I get there, I didn't care what I ate as along as it's fulfil my stomach size.

Appearance from the outside: 2 (not appealing at all)
Service: 2 (takes water by yourself and 2 ladies kept yelling at themselves when they're not serving)
Food taste: 3 to 3.5 since I never tried this kind of food before
Price: 3 (not so bad, combo of 2 meat and 2 eggs plus garlic rice is $7.75 plus tax)
Hours: 4 (they open till late)

Ordered Adobo and Longsilog combo, luv the garlic rice and luv how they cooked the eggs. I also tried my friend's Spam and Bisteksilog, not bad, but just generic taste, nothing really special. Good place to eat if you're hungry ate night. Otherwise, mehh.... I would rather try to go to Sinugba

I'm giving this place one star because I can't do any less...

This place has the worst customer service ever... We arrived here at around 8:00p after visiting my husband's grandfather at a nearby hospital. Anyway, we walked in, the waitress did not even acknowledge we were there; she was too busy talking to two of her friends who were sitting at a table next to the cash register. After she finally decided to cut her conversation short, we got a table. Once again, she went back to talk to her friends. My husband asked if he could get a glass of water, she replied from where she was standing and asked him to help himself and pointed him to a table which was on the other side of the room.

That was not it... When it was time to order, my husband wanted a chicken steamed bun (which was on the menu), when he went to order it, she said they did not have any available. Finally, he settled for a pork bun, she brought that, and it was supper cold. In addition to that, my husband ordered a place of BBQ chicken, when he received his plate; he realized they had given him pork instead. This lady continued yapping the entire time we were there, she was so loud. I personally don't speak Tagalog, but my husband does, he didn't feel what they were discussing was even appropriate. This place is ridiculous, I wonder how it stays in business...

We will never go back... There is a place next door called Toppings, they also serve Filipino food, at its pretty good, GO THERE INSTEAD!

Yes, it's more like a 1-1/2 stars, but only because I'm a Filipina and I don't like giving Filipino restaurants very bad reviews.

We ate here last night because it was 8:30 at night, and coming from San Francisco, not much other Filipino restaurants are still open who could serve me Sinigang Pork.  I was jones-ing that since I felt under the weather and wanted to eat something sour to jolt me out of the funk.  Sadly, after the huge wait, my Sinigang came with the flavor tasting straight out of a packet.  What a disappointment!

My husband ordered Beef Stew Noodle Soup and a Tocilog, so we ate completely different things.  The whacked part though was that we were both affected adversely (I'm not going into any more detail) by the foods we ate.

The service was a little slacker, yet surly, but I just excused that as the lady was just being a Filipina strict-mother-type, so I can let that slide.  The food though was a total disappointment.

So here me and my fiancee thought, "Wow a restaurant that has both Chinese and Filipino food!" We decided to give this place a try. Here is our thoughts of Ling Nam:

1) Bad service
2) Dirty floors/tables
3) Grimy menus
4) Tocino was DRIED and tasted like it was microwaved 5 days ago
5) The sinigang wasn't bad for the price. We got about 7 pieces of meat, 10 strands of vegetables, and a bowl of soup. All for just under $7.

If I can guess where stray malnourished dogs end up, it will be this place.

I haven't tried a lot of things at Ling Nam, but what I'm reviewing is the best I've ever had in the bay area!

In my opinion, their Tosilog, Longsilog, and their Asado Siopao is the best in Daly City, the peninsula, the Bay Area.

Their Tosilog and Longsilog come with tasty garlic fried rice, eggs easy over, and a slice of tomato (by request these days btw).  It comes in five minutes nice and hot.  Sure they probably microwave the thing and then fry it, but the taste is awesome.

The Asado Siopao is the tastiest steam bun I have ever tried.  The sauce it comes with just brings me back in time... when I was a kid in the Philippines.  I just remember having Siopao with that slightly tangy, slightly sweet soy type of sauce.  Just like you can't have the lechon without that tangy lechon sauce, Siopao just isn't the same when it doesn't come with this sauce.

I've tried some of their soups, and they are pretty good too, but the those three items on the menu just does it for me.  The prices can't be beat and if you've got that craving in the middle of the night, their food hits the spot.

We haven't been to Ling Nam for years and was pleasantly surprised when we went for brunch over the weekend. The menu has changed for the better. The focus is now on Filipino food instead of the not-so-good Chinese food. I was so happy to see the expanded Filipino breakfast menu. There used to be only 5 choices, now there are about a dozen.

Hubby stuck with what he knows and got a tocino (cured pork) breakfast while I went for my favorite crispy pata (deep fried pork leg) breakfast. The tocino is of the usual variety. Good but nothing special. The crispy pata had crispy skin and tender meat. It's such a big portion that I couldn't finish half. It's a great deal at $8.95, even if it didn't come with the garlic rice and egg. I'm glad it did though as I am a fan of their garlic rice.

I generally don't order anything other than the Filipino breakfast here. The prices are low, the portions are generous and the food is good. I'm glad to have rediscovered this place as a good breakfast/lunch/dinner option instead of a late night hang out.

I grew up in Binondo, Manila which is in the heart of Chinatown.

Ling Nam is not only an institution over there, it is a Mecca.  Sunday means going to Ling Nam at 6am to catch the first batch of juk for the day. My dad loves their siopao (similar to BBQ pork buns, but much bigger)  and sister is a big fan of their siumai. Then its church afterward.

Believe me when you are 10 years old, the last thing you want to do on a weekend is wake up at the crack of dawn just so you can eat juk at some hole in the wall restaurant.

This Ling Nam does not compare at all to the one I've grown accustomed to.

In fact, their siopao tends to be on the dry side and it's more doughy than meaty.  I've had their tapsilog (pan fried beef, garlic rice and fried egg) and all the other -silog dishes, those are okay.  The siu mai over here is huge, but somehow doesn't pack as much flavor as the smaller version of Ling Nam in Manila.

Needless to say, I won't be getting up at the crack of dawn to eat at this establishment.

Went late on a Friday evening after a movie. Tried to order off the Chinese part of the menu only to be told that they don't offer the Chinese parts after a certain time. For the heck of it I ordered the same thing off the Filipino menu, which they had available. Kinda weird.

Food was bland and uninteresting.

This place also has the dirtiest bathroom I've ever seen in a restaurant. Disgusting.

So my boyfriend is Filipino so everything with rice and egg is basically the norm.  When I was thinking about places to review, Ling Nam immediately came to mind.  "Si-Log" is abbreviated for Rice and Egg...just in case you were wondering.  I always get the combo plate with Tapa and Langonisa (did I spell that right).  Wow, talk about a $6 trip to Heaven!  The meat is perfectly cooked, the garlic rice is not too overpowering, and the eggs had the perfect balance of grease (if there is such a thing) and moisture.  If you're a fan of "Pinoy" food, there is nothing else better than this place.  Fast, easy, and convenient.  Oh, did I mention the grease? Mmm, yum!

I tried their tocilog and it was okay. Nothing special here. I didn't like the way the fish tanks that the fish were in were super grungy and grimy around the edges. Although it's okay for seafood supermarkets, it's not a very appetizing sight while you're chowing down a couple feet from them.

Their chicken shopao was super dry, as they have a lot of dough surrounding the meat filling. They also sometimes color mark the shopao incorrectly sometimes. When I went, a yellow dot was chicken (brown looking) and the red was BBQ pork (in a deep red sauce). We ordered a whole bunch of red dot buns for my Lola since she doesn't eat chicken and half of them were chicken! What the heck? Maybe it was just that one day, and maybe I was unlucky. Either way, that was a very unhappy day for eating shopao.

Overall, Ling Nam is just an okay place. If you eat here I recommend eating out and ordering tocilog.

We went here after clubbing last night around 2am. We were hungry for some filipino food. We were in downtown SF and one of our friend's friend recommended we go there.  We got there and it was busy. It we didn't have a hard time getting a table. We sat down and looked at the menu. It looked short staffed, only two ladies were working at the time. It took one of the lady 15 minutes to make an order. The girl seems like in rush, i guess i don't blame her. The food came out within 10 minutes also. We ordered the Tocilog, Pork Sinigang, kare kare, crispy pata, and bisteak. My sister and i shared the Tocilog and Sinigang. The Sinigang was sour just the way i liked it and the meat was soft so that was pretty good. T he Tocilog was ok not sweet enough. Service is slow and the food is ok. period.

In a word...YUCK!!!. Unless of course, you want to get Food -Poisoning, then this is the best place for you! This place used to be great when it first opened but i guess the owners got complacent thinking the hell w/ future customers so now it's in shambles. The Place is plain filthy, grundgy floors and don't even try go to their bathroom (UGGHHH!!!). I'll eat next door (Toppings w/c is a great restaurant right-off-the-bat ) But not LingNam! Price wise it's fair but what do you expect w/ their food that you might go to the ER in Kaiser a few blocks in case of Food Poisoning? One reviewer was right about this place: This Place serves Iwannathrowuppilog! GROSS!!!

I gotta give these people a little more props than before so it's 5 stars this time.

I've been to so many filipino restaurants in the past several years...most are cleaner, nicer-looking, and have better service than Ling Nam.  However, I'm still hard-pressed to find a better siopao or "-silog" (filipino breakfast) out of all the filipino restaurants here in the bay area.  I've sampled siopao at filipino bakeries and other restaurants, and their pork asado siopao here is still the best.  I've enjoyed tosilog/longsilog at other places too but they just still don't live up to the ones here...the rice isn't as garlicky, the longanisa/tocino not as tasty.

One new thing I noticed is that a whole section is now dedicated to a bakery whose specialty is "senorita bread", which I've never heard of before...I sure gotta try that sometime.

Plus, this place is quick, efficient, and super-cheap.  Their portions are large, and I've never left this place hungry.  It satisfies my filipino breakfast cravings like no other...whenever we finish eating here my hubby and I always say "Yeah, that hit the spot".  I like a fancy restaurant as much as any person, but this remains my favourite filipino dive restaurant in the bay area.

i have a thing for mom and pop restaurants...the genuine look of a restaurant put up solely to serve passed down family recipes.

ling nam is my go-to for some filipino fix: tosilog (tocino, garlic rice, and over easy egg) and bbq pork siopoa (pork bun).  yummy!  this place doesn't have very much glitz and glamour, but that's not why ling nam stays open, it's for the food!

I guess this review is a bit biased, because I've been going to Ling Nam for like 20 years!

Ling Nam is a Chinese-Filipino restaurant, and it may be one of my favorite places for breakfast -silog plates.  Longsilog, tocilog, tapsilog, whateversilog!  haha.  I usually get the combo-silog with longanisa and tocino.  Add in an over easy egg and a couple slices of tomatoes, and I'm set.  If I'm REALLY hungry, I may order a siopao or some shumai.  Their pieces of shumai are huge, btw.

Ok, so the place isn't that clean.  And the bathroom isn't really a nice sight to see, either.  But it's been like this since I was a little kid, and I've never gotten sick or anything from here so just get over it already!  I only go here for the food, not for decor.  And they're always open late, so they're a great place to stop by after some drunken nights.  And they're cheap, too. =)

I've been here for dinner and late night food, and it wasn't good at all. It's cool that they're open super late, and the service is super friendly, but the food is just sub par. I've had tons of dishes here, and have been pleased by only one: the catfish. Other than that, there is nothing here that makes me want to go back. The soups aren't as flavorful or full of good stuff to eat. The chicken and duck always seems super overdone, either really dry or really chewy.

I've had plenty of meals cooked at friends' homes that taste as good or better than meals at Ling Nam, and since I don't have to dish out cash for that, I think I'll go with that option.

If you've got a strong feenin' for hearty Filipino breakfast and won't dare let a little dirt and grime stand in your way, then by all means, try Ling Nam's...live a little.

I recommend the fried chicken-silog combo with the tocino. Most excellent when consumed at 0200 when you're just the right amount of tipsy. Oh, and pass on the oil-drenched shredded protein they refer to as "adobo". On second thought, I would actually pass on everything except the -silogs.

THEIR DINING AREA IS CLEANER THAN THEIR BATHROOM...
and by the looks of the dining area - that's NOT a good thing.

When a 7 yr old asks 'How can the workers wash their hands after using the potty with no soap?' that's your sign to leave. Quickly.

No matter how much I'm fiendin for a late night tocino / tapa, I'll fore-go the fly infestation @ Ling Nam and grab a sober -silog somewhere kosher when the sun comes up.

I have no idea why this place has almost 3 stars. Eh. This joint is a disgrace. The place isn't that clean, their food is below average, and the servers aren't friendly at all!

One day my mom and I went here for lunch and since it was her first time there (I been there before with some friends), she asked to look at the menu before we got seated. The lady behind the counter just pointed to a piece of paper next to her and continued counting dollar bills (it was lunchtime!) I found that very rude but that wasn't all. My mom wanted Filipino food, since almost everything in the menu was Chinese food. She went over to the ready-to-eat food and I was surprised to see the food swimming in their certain soups/sauces. It was downright disgusting. The food looked old and didn't even look warm. And the worst part is, they weren't even covered and the freakin door entrance was open and flies were swarming in. I was so grossed out. We ended up eating at the Vietnamese restaurant nearby.

If you plan on eating here, think about your health first. I question this restaurant's cleanliness the most. I'm surprised the health inspectors haven't requested to close this down.

I feel bad for giving Ling Nam a crappy review but everything I said is true. If you don't believe me, go see for yourself.

So the place could be cleaner, especially the window sills and bathroms, but honestly, it's the perfect place for breakfast or late night eats.  I'm probably biased b/c I live so close by and have ordered from Ling Nam a lot, but the "silogs" hit the spot every single time (the tocilog and longsilog are my faves).  These dishes can be a bit heavy on the stomach (c'mon, rice, eggs, AND some type of meat/fish... of course it's heavy), so you can always get an "appetizer" like siopao or shu mai.  After a late night out, some of my friends like their soups.

Sure, there's better out there.  But if you want quick and tasty, especially late at night (and especially friday and saturday nights), Ling Nam is a good place to end the night.

I have to admit.... this place does look pretty sketchy. It is in dire need of renovation and a good cleaning. The mean ass lady who rings up your bill (She's cool if your a regular), the OG Filipino dude choppin BBQ Duck w/ a cig in his mouth hahaha! You seat yourself and have to get your own water :-( But on the plus side... I've been coming here ever since I was a little kid and the food has been great ever since.  Can't go wrong with the Beef Stewsilog or the House Special Mami on a cold day, which is pretty much 364 days outta the year in DC. It's open 24hrs on the weekends which is coo if your coming from the club/airport/wherever. Besides, when your faded.... does it really matter how the place looks?

Wow.  Can someone say flashback?

I remember going here in the wee hours of the morning after a night out clubbing or partying.  This is a good place to eat after hours when you're drunk and don't really care what you're food tastes like.  Don't get me wrong, food is ok not terrible.  Closest thing to a Filipino version of Denny's.

I remember eating here and seeing some random Filipno "megastar" that I saw on TFC.  I was gonna ask him to sign my left pec but I didn't want him to get the wrong idea.

My husband and I had dinner there last night and I basically have two words to say about this place-- "DOG FOOD"

I mean, seriously-- If you are religious and you pray before you eat, you should add and extra prayer at the end so you don't get food poisoning... JUST SAYING....

We ordered:

Fried Tilapia -Silog Style:
The egg was the only thing cooked right. Rice was hard and too separated... (Like refrigerated rice...) Tilapia was over cooked... Tasted like fish chips... HAHA...

Kare-Kare Rice Plate:
Seriously, it is a hard and really time consuming dish to make, but if you cannot do it right, please take it off your menu. The meat was not at all tender... The tripe had yucky undercooked tripe taste to it... and the soup was interestingly masked with msg... it was gross.. i dont think my dog would have eaten it...

Rice Porriage (GOTO):
I can honestly say that this was the worst of all bads at ling nams.... I've never tasted something so bland and extremely gross... It tastes like someone smooshed up rice and pour wated on it... Served it with some burnt garlic and called it a dish... YUCK YUCK YUCK...

NEVER AGAIN... Seriously....

It's not the greatest or cleanest Filipino/Chinese joint, but it's decent comfort food.  I would only go there for breakfast though, since the -silog dishes are good.  I didn't realize they were open 24 hours though.

I'm not a native of the Bay Area, so my view is a bit skewed.

When asked what are some of the factors that go into one my reviews, I said service had to be one of them.
The thing is a place can serve some mind blowing eats but if the food takes forever to get to you and you are treated shabbily then your enjoyment of the meal is proportionately diminished.

All that being said, Ling Nam isn't the worst Filipino food I've eaten.  But when it's three in the morning, you're near the area and starving then it's not that terrible a choice.  Keep in mind, it's still kinda bad but maybe you'll accept it for what it is: late night fast food.

The breakfast plate I ordered consisted of two eggs, overly cooked Filipino sausage (longonisa), and not so fresh garlic fried rice.
But I did appreciate how quickly the food came out, the lively but not annoying crowd of happy hungry post-club goers, and how everyone in the place joined in on singing happy birthday.

Honestly, I could think of worse ways to end the night/start the morning.

I cannot complain about Ling Nam since I have been going here for a long time and still love going after a night out of drinking.  You can get a table a lot faster than if you go to Lucky Chances and the food is good.

It's always safe to get a silog there or soup.  I'm usually up for a longsilog or tosilog.  If I go the soup route the House Special is great.  Get a siopao along with your soup...great combo or get some siomai.

My friends have dubbed one of my meals the Big Rube #2:

Choice of silog
Wonton soup (no noodles)
siopao or siomai
Calamansi Juice

Please, remember not to order the Big Rube #2 unless you are serious about eating...you have been warned.

This is the place you go at 2 in the morning when you're completely fucked up. Total drunk people food. BTW, I don't know why they call it a Noodle House. The fillipino breakfasts are what people usually go for. I've never had any noodles here.

I suggest: Tapsilog or Tocilog. Crispy Pata.

Go at 2 in the morning.

A sorta dive.

if you like flourescent with neon and blaring sounds, yet a relatively cheap filipino breakfast go here.  Though assaulting on some level, it' does its job -- got the combo breakfast with longanisa and bangus.  As expected...heavy, but good.

I prefer Sinugba down the block.

Something about this place at 2am doesn't really seem safe. Maybe it was those guys at their cars just kinda smokin hangin out, the other guy on near the door yelling "You don't know me! I'll end you!" or maybe it was the "Hills Have Eyes" security woman. I dunno things just seemed kinda off and yet very familiar and homey.

I've always heard lots of things about Ling Nam and have never been until this past weekend. Drunk and horny we stagger into this place and are greeted by the female security guard, horny has left the building, she asks how many we say 7 and she ushers us to our table.

We get the menus and right up front is Halo-Halo...wait a minute...wtf!? This place is called Ling Nam...now my Tagalog is nowhere near fluent but I don't think "Ling Nam" is Filipino at all. All I've heard of this joint is that its Silog plates are bomb! After 5 seconds of deep thought I hear obscenities coming from the 6 guys in the corner who are shouting into a cell phone. The waitress comes around like she didn't hear anything and proceeds to take our order.

I get the kare-kare ala carte($6.95) and the corned beef silog plate($6.45), I don't know what the other guys got but afterward I went out for a smoke.

So I'm outside and there's another group of guys and they ask me where I'm from, I walk over and I tell them. My friends look outside and give me a head nod, I shake my head and smile. The group of guys talk amongst themselves and ask if I'm with so and so and I tell them no, but I can tell so and so inside that someone outside is looking for them and they decline my offer and then we all go our separate ways.

I go back inside and the food arrives, the Kare-Kare isn't all that. My wife told me I shouldn't order Kare-Kare cause my mom makes it REALLY good. But the corned beef silog was GOOD! It came with scrambled eggs (everyone Else's was over medium..wtf?) a nice scoop of garlic rice and the corned beef was oniony and garlicy just how I like it. It took us all a while to finish our food and the guys inside who were yelling were getting louder. We finished and went outside to smoke one before we hit the road.

As we were smoking the group outside started walking up to us, but noticed and maybe one of them said "Oh hey wait, it's the fat guy. Go back it's not these guys." So they stopped and turned around. We figured stuff was going to happen so we sat by our cars and waited for the loudmouths inside to come out. When they came out, the two groups of guys met and stuff popped off and we were treated to a scene of nostalgia....just a nice drunken hand to hand brawl outside of a ghetto eating establishment.....oh fun times!

Why a 5 star rating? 1 star for the horror movie staff, 1 star each for the two groups who entertained us and two stars for the Silog plates! I'd only recommend the Silog plates, everyone else who got anything else complained.

I've been to Ling Nam twice and will make it a point to stop there every time I leave SF to return home to LA.  I know this place is common for late night dining, but I found it pretty groovy while sober.  My two Pacific Islander friends Dennis and Dante introduced it to me a little over a year ago and it worked out great going to a Filipino-Chinese place since I am Chinese!!!  I had the tocsilog and longsilog combo and was satisfied with the portion and reasonable price.  I just cut it all up and mixed it together... perfect brunch.  I picked up a duck on the way out too!!!  Don't forget to check out my pictures, yelpers!

Wow so many poor reviews. It's not perfect by any means but it was sure tasty. After flying for what seemed an eternity to SFO from Virginia, T. suggested Ling Nam and it sure hit the spot. I am still learning about Filipino food but of the places I have tried this one was just as good. Aesthetically pleasing?? Not really but after a long flight looks didn't matter as much as taste.

I had a simple dish of tocino, fried chicken, garlic rice and two eggs. Hit the spot big time. The lumpia were so so as was the pork bun but the rice flour thing on a stick (karioka) was a real treat.

I would definitely go back if in the area.
