It's a chain and it's in stapleton - it is what it is. But it does have happy hour till 6:30 on sunday - woot woot!

Patio was nice, although right beside the kiddy fountain.
    Staff is usually pretty friendly.
We like to do the spicy tuna roll and a lemon grass wheat.

I've had the ahi tuna salad with terrible tuna - so i shy away from trying that again.
The crab wontons are kinda icky - skip those.

But there are plenty of yummies on the menu to enjoy!

So I gave them another chance.  The fiance` and I were dressed for a date night with no idea where to go.  I mentioned that this place had good drinks and appetizers, so we decided to venture out.

Previously when I had been sat at this particular establishment, it was in the cozy area with the high-backed booths.  It was almost worth being ignored in that area because it was so secluded.  This time?  Seated in the very front of the restaurant next to three booths full of families.  Not just families--people with SEVERAL children who were throwing food on the floor, scarfing food loudly, and were generally being disgusting.  As you can imagine, he and I were pretty insulted, but assumed that we were over there because of a lack of tables or seating selection...or something.  Who knows.

I told him that our paper menus weren't there when I'd been the previous time, and he told me that maybe we should have been given crayons to color on it.  I rolled my eyes at him and tried to be hopeful about the rest of the meal.

We were sorely disappointed.  It took forever for a waitress to come over to even get our drink order, much less bring back the drinks (presumably because of the children flinging food and spilling their drinks around us).  The one cocktail I had could have turned into 3 or 4 had the service been better.  The food was pretty good.  Not great, as it was the first time I'd gone, but pretty good.  Everything else, though, was miserable.  I couldn't wait to pay my check and leave.

To recap:  The only way I will get roped into going back to this establishment is if it's a special event for a friend.  I'm all about three strikes and you're out...but the second strike was too much to bear.

California has spread its tentacles and reached Denver or vice versa.  Does it really even matter at this point?  Ate here once in Irvine, CA and it was unmemorable.   So unmemorable I had forgotten the name and
mistakenly ate here again years later in Denver, CO.  Evil Jungle Princess Chicken is what refreshed my memory.  Quite a name for an entrée.  Too bad it doesn't remotely live up to its name.

I am certainly a fan of Ling and Louie's and it's time I reviewed it.  Chain or not, I always enjoy lunch, dinner or happy hour here, so why let the surburban-mall stigma change my mind? Let's break this down nice and neat.

Location/Ambiance -- Thanks to Northfield's mainstreet set-up, Ling and Louie's has one of the best patios in the area.  And for that reason it is a go-to location from May -October.  Indoors is warm and inviting and I like the way the seating areas are broken up a bit and wrap around the bar making everything feel a little cozier.
Keep in mind, this part of town can be windy, so even on sunny days the patio may not work out.  Also note that the sun hits the patio late day so bring the sunglasses but it's worth a few sweat beads on the brow if you ask me.
And a quick note about Northfield -- it's a surprisingly convenient location to meet up if you're from east Denver and/or north Aurora.  Don't overlook it and it's many great options for dinner and a movie.

    Service -
The bartenders that I've seen regularly (a guy and a gal) are solid and also friendly.  I also have a favorite server - I'm 95% positive her name is Heidi, but there's about a 5% chance it's Becca (long story).  She is very nice, helpful and just the right amount of chit-chat.  She's always got great recommendations for what's coming out of the kitchen that night and even with large groups who are hyperactively enjoying the happy hour beverages she never seems less that thrilled to be your server.

But then....there are the hostesses (and this is a definite plural because for some reason there are almost always 3 or 4 on duty).  A few have been pleasant and helpful, a few have been confused and nervous and a few have been condescending and twitty.   On a recent visit, despite a reservation for the patio which had been twice confirmed, on arrival the hostess told me it was hot outside so she set the table up inside.  When I asked to move back outside she pointed out that the patio is really popular so most of the tables were full but they would try.  (we did get our patio table after only a few minutes extra wait)

    Food -
Thus far I've never been disappointed with the food and I've made a point to try a variety of things on the menu.  The flatbread appetizer with filet is particularly good for a snack, the crab cheese wontons are delicious and the Evil Jungle Princess is my favorite entree.
Certainly it's Asian fusion for the mainstream diner, but I think with a little thought and consideration most anyone could find something that measures up to particular preferences.
Also be sure to check out their beer selection -  some really good microbrew options are available.

So, good location, good service (mostly) and good food -- seems like a winner to me!

To cool off from the summer heat with a cold drink, my friends and i decided to sit in the bar for some much needed happy hour drinks.

    To our surprise:

-happy hour was awesome! $2 bud lights, $5 sake bombs, and cheap food options.
-the bartenders were the best! we sat down and within minutes, we were sipping on our beers. never have done a sake bomb, the bartender gave us one for free to taste & as a result, got a fatty tip.
-the location was perfect. smack in the middle of winefest & packed with people, the bar was the perfect place to people watch, cool off and look at the tents full of things to buy.
-the prices were just right! period.

Oh Ling and Louie's... what has happened to you?

We used to meet up with several friends here quite a bit and enjoyed your food quite much. Something has happened though.  What?  Your food now sucks! Gross! What did you change and why?  For that, you've lost us as customers and I tell others the same. I hope you find your way back someday...  but how would I know, as I can't even fathom TRYING to gag your food down again to see if you are back...

Quick place to eat before the movies in Stapleton.

Walked in around 6 didn't have to wait for a table.

    The server was nice.

The atmosphere of the place is modern Asian fusion but we ate on paper menus and the servers wore tshirts.  I dig it.

The menu is what caught my eye while dining here.  From Asian inspired salads, pizzas, traditional pad thai, rolls, edamame to rice dishes, this place had it all.

The service was quick and for dinner, the prices were mostly less than $10 a plate.

I got the ahi tuna lettuce wraps.  The tuna were big chunks but they were seared too long.  It was full of sweet but salty flavor though.  The lettuce cups were also fresh.  But nothing to write home about.  I think I've had this "chain tasting" sort of lettuce cups before.

I have to remember that this is chain style eating.  Would I be back again?  Not for dining...MAYBE for a quick bite to eat before the movies.

So... if you've done and know PF Chang's, then think of this place as a more random looking, sports bar version. And keep in mind, it's a "franchise", so I'm assuming that while some locations may be company owned, most are run by franchisees. (Their website shows 5 locations with one soon to open)

To borrow and paraphrase L 'n L's own explanation......

Ling and Louie's is a contemporary concept, Asian Fusian. I'd have to agree with their website, and say that this young franchise, with two locations in Denver, and a few more locations scattered in the Southwest, appeals to today's diners looking for a fresh twist on the American-Asian culinary mash-up with an emphasis on premium ingredients, and unparalleled service in a casual, unpretentious atmosphere. A frozen Mai Tai from the bar doesn't hurt either! It appealed to me, and I liked it.

We did the ahi tuna appetizer, which is like, or is, a sashimi platter... the mussels in this interesting soup-sauce, and the chicken wraps. Each dish had a sauce that made the protein more than you'd expect it could be. In fact, they do a good job kicking up the "flavor value" of many of their dishes by virtue, in my opinion, of their unique sauces and flavorings.

This particular location is in the Northfield Village Shopping area, (my own name for the "Downtown Disneyland" setup you see at "Victorian Gardens" in Rancho Cucamonga.) I have no problem returning, because the location is "easy-peesy" to get to, and the food, and flavors, are as interesting and good as my old time fav'..... PF's.

If you'd like to try the other locations, I suggest you check out their website and menu pages... then you'll get through the "discovery phase - shock and awe" quicker, and be able to make some menu decisions before sitting down. I'm looking forward to trying their other locations myself, as I travel throughout the Western region.

This is the second location I have been to in Denver, this one being within a stones through of my place.  Recommended this place to a friend of mine for dinner, and dinner we did.  We walked right into the place at 8pm and were sat immediately in a booth.

Atmosphere was nice and service was excellent.  I ordered the Jungle Princess dish with Chicken which had yummy spicy sauce coating the entire thing with tons of veggies and brown rice (my choice).  My friend had the Kung Pow Beef which looked amazing.  Overall a great place for some Asian Fusion cuisine and great conversation.  This place offers great flavor in their dishes from mild to very spicy.

I would recommend a go if you have never been.  Couldn't go over 3 stars for a chain.  :)

After writing my previous review (extremely negative) I got a nice response from the restaurant manager requesting to send me a gift certificate so I could try this place out again.  I'll add a star just for that.

My husband and I went back, and were successfully served.  The food was OK; we had gyoza as an appetizer, then I got the lettuce wraps and he got a seafood combo dish.  Everything was good, but there was a small piece of plastic wrap in the lettuce under the gyoza that we didn't notice until we'd eaten all the dumplings.  The service was better than the last time, but it was still pretty slow.  Despite the food being pretty good for the price, I probably won't eat here again.  It's not terrible, but I can't increase the rating to more than two stars.

Two strikes. You're out (alien softball rules apply)

I've yet to find anything remarkable about their quasi-sudo-asian food. That last thing I ordered, all I could taste was ginger.

Hey guys, I'm not asking for cockroaches on a stick with the "proprietary sauce", but something with a little "depth of flavor" would certainly be nice.

OK- its a chain of two- but it feels like a chain. The good parto of a chain is consistency and L&Ls always delivers. The ugly truth is this...mama still loves a hot sake and a big ol' Kirin and you can get one here for $6.50.
PLUS.. Social services called and you can also feed small children protein (disguised edamame and/or a bento box) in an interesting way. My three yr. old regularly requests the bento box from this joint.

Bottom line- food is decent in taste and price (but certainly not mom and pop Asian authentic)

If you want to go out to eat around Stapleton/Lowry/Mayfair/Montclair and you have a human 4 ft. or shorter, this may be a ride you can hold up your arms and squeal. The service is incredibly accommodating for those of us who have small ones.

    Did I mention big Kirin?

Sorry everyone, this place is NOT good! We had a party of three, I ordered Pad Thai, my buddy ate Dan Dan Noodles, and the lady had Walnut Crusted Chicken. The Dan Dan Noodles were not up to par. The Walnut Crusted Chicken was dry and bland. The Pad Thai was the worst I've ever had. For the first time, in a very long time, I returned my food and did not order anything else.
The atmosphere is nice and the waterfall is pretty cool. The food was horrible! The server was not very good either!

Northfield Stapleton's Asian Fusion establishment, a franchise of a California restaurant, and you can taste the California in the food!

That food is made with very fresh ingredients, and most everything on the menu is available with tofu instead of chicken, seafood or beef.  All the entrees I've tried have been pretty good, and I can particularly recommend the Evil Jungle Princess dish.

But we tried the Long Life Chicken Noodle Soup, and it was not edible. We love spicy food, I'm totally serious, I know it's a subjective thing, but you've gotta believe me, this soup was WAY too hot. I guess the Long Life refers to the soup itself, not the health benefits it gives you. I also tried their signature Tom Kha Gai soup, which was very flavorful, but very rich, so I couldn't finish the bowl.

Fat Tire, Sunshine Wheat, Guiness, Sapporo and Kirin Ichiban on tap. But I had the fresh squeezed limeade, and can happily recommend it!

Service is notable. Just the right amount of attention and perfect timing. That and the really cool water feature along the back wall earn this restaurant a solid fourth star.

I was more than pleasantly surprised by the lunch Pad Thai I ordered at Ling and Louie's Asian Bar and Grill. It had to be the most flavorful version I have had to date. There was a lot of tasty broth under the noodles, chicken, shrimp, and sprouts. It had a touch of heat, a lot of spicy goodness, and was a nice combination of savory and sweet. I did end up with quite a few broth spots on my shirt, but I was too intent on eating to notice.

I will go back even though it is not that convenient.

My wife and I were undecided about where to eat in Northfield @ Stapleton and we finally decided on LIng and Louie's and we weren't disappointed.  The service was wonderful and quite helpful and the food was real and fresh, no fake stuff here.

We started with the crab wontons and potstickers. The crab wontons were filled with real blue crab meat. No fillers or overloaded with cream cheese. The sauce that is served with the potstickers is wonderful and brought out the flavor of the potstickers.

For the main course, my wife had the Evil Jungle Princess Chicken and I had the Ling's Sweet and Sour Pork.  Both entrees were delicious. Everything was fresh about these meals and the peanut sauce on the chicken dish was delicious.

Now the menu has warnings for spicy items. The Evil Jungle Princess Chicken is listed as a spicy dish and it is not. There is no warning for the Sweet and Sour Pork.  Well the chicken dish is not real spicy at all. In fact, the sweet and sour pork is more spicy than the chicken.

Overall a great place, good atmosphere, and great service. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is too ordinary and even the ones that were marked spicy were really really bland .. I am highly disappointed, specially with the taste .. Price range is average .. We enjoyed the exuberance of Downtown as we were sitting in Patio. There were these Vegetable Spring Roll and that was the only thing that I could really appreciate in terms of Taste ..

I would probable not go there again and will not really recommend it to someone who loves spicy food .. Service is okay ..

    My initial thoughts on L&L:
Asian Fusion food.  Hmmmmmmmmm......Not a fan.
Secondly, L&L is a chain.  Keep your expectations low.

However, since I got a FANTASTIC deal for L&L through http://weeklyplus.com,  I wanted to give it a try.   The website offers discounted deals for food, services, and products, so Momma didn't raise no fool.  If I can save $$$$ on food, I will eat and try any place.

When it comes to the menu, L and L does offer a wide variety of dishes, with interesting twists of some standards.

On this particular evening, the Veggie spring rolls proved to be delicious and delectable.  The egg roll type of wrap teemed with veggies, noodles, and just enough crunchiness to create a wonderful symphony of flavors and textures.  Add in the hoisin/sesame sauce, and a second lime/cilantro/honey sauce, and the taste buds explode.

My main entree, however, only came across as adequate.  First and foremost, I ordered a Lo Mein dish, and L&L used Yakisoba noodles.  Didn't work for me, but I am a traditionalist when it comes to Lo Mein.  I like thicker egg noodles.  The overall taste let me down, and the uninspiring fusion of Japanese noodles to this Chinese dish left me hungry and wanting McD's french fries.  :-)

The wok stir fried vegetables I ordered as a side also tasted alright.  I felt it needed more garlic and the use of high quality soy sauce.  If you have never invested in a quality soy sauce at your local Asian market, I advise you do.  The depth in flavor will amaze you.  Anyhow, the way L&L makes this side dish needs improvement to be great, but as a side for dinner, it will sustain you, just not blow you away.

My GF's dish was a Sizzling Beef dish.  Wonderful strips of Filet Mignon cooked over a sizzling hot plate, with asparagus spears.  She enjoyed that dish very much.  I sampled a piece of the exquisite beef, and I enjoyed it.

But seriously, Filet Mignon would be hard to screw up....Even for an Asian Fusion place.

For the price, you may find yourself unfulfilled.  I can list a handful of Chinese, Japanese, or Thai restaurants that surpasses L&L for food quality, and not break the bank.

Not my first choice for the Stapleton Area.

HOWEVER- They have a molten Chocolate cake and a cheesecake/banana egg roll that I must come back to sample at a later date.

So its not often we get to this side of town but we were doing some shopping so we stopped in for dinner. It was about 8, my bad impression started at the door. All the hosts were talking to each other and did not even greet us till I coughed...which was greeted by a dirty look from the host.

We were seated and our server was nice and the Kirin and hot sake for $6.50 seemed like a great deal, but if you like sake don't get this the sake is not good at all.

So I ordered Crab cheese wontons and Lettuce wraps and my boyfriend ordered the Pad Thai....We got our food and the I did not like the Wontons so I sent them back and ordered some Edameme. We waited over 20mins of them and they never came...I asked our server he said they would be right out...another 20min still no food. So I let him know we did not want them. I was explained to him that I did not understand what was taken so long and that we would like the check....

He then brought us the check and proceeded to tell us how he was working with a hurt back and how he had a baby on the way and he was in school...a plea for tips...even thought we had horrible service...I felt this was a bit tacky...

We will not dine there again!

Went there with my brother, his wife and a friend of theirs.  It was a great place.  Happy hour there is cheap, entrees in that 12-18 range.  Nothing is overpriced.  Very decent Asian casual.  Better food than a PF Chang and better atmosphere.

Our server was Liz, she is fantastic.  She took great care with of us.  She is very knowledgeable and attentive.  She made great suggestions that complimented our meal.

The restaurant as well as the shopping area was dead.  Surprising for a Friday evening.   Maybe 100 diners between 6 and 830 when we left.  Maybe less.

Patio looked great.  Hopefully the entire area will pick up.

I ate here some time ago and am now just getting around to writing a review. Its pretty much standard mall fair pan-asian food in a very cute location. The interior is charming but I bet it would be better for just drinks.

The food isn't bad, its just mediocre. The service was OK but it seemed like some of the wait staff was hanging out drinking and that was the focus for the other waiters. Oh well.

The Northfield mall, where this place is, happens to be close to the mom-in-laws place.  Ling and Louie's is where she requested to go for a birthday dinner.  Hmmmmm, it could be worse.  I could be reviewing Golden Corral, so believe me, I am definitely not complaining.  The orange chicken was great.... fresh grated orange zest really popped with flash fried, minimal batter, large white meat pieces of chicken.  The "crispy spinach" that it sat upon was different, not bad just diff.  Wife had the ahi salad.  It looked good and she added that it was quite good.  My dad-in-law had the Lucky Lo Mein.  He said it was the best he had since he lived in Bakersfield Ca., which according to him is ground zero, for the best Chinese food this side of Hong Kong.  So, I guess, that is saying something.  The two little guys went with the kids bento box which was very cool both in presentation and food it contained.  I was able to partake in two adult beverages courtesy of Kirin beer and the happy hour.  Yeahyuh!!  Kudos to the server who offered to comp the oldest kid's meal because he couldn't eat it due to it being way to spicy hot.  We thanked them and moved on to a different menu item and paid our freight.  Overall,  Ling and Louie's was pretty darn good, and yes.... I am a fan!

I am incredibly obsessed with the Mongolian Flatbread. I love the different combination of flavors and how colorful it is. I have been here several times and always try to eat a different dish every time.

I also really enjoy the Honey Walnut Shrimp. It is incredibly delicious and I could just eat a bowl of rice with the sauce on it-it's that good! The service has always been top-notch and the decor its very fun and trendy.

They have a great happy hour selection and a menu for all types of people depending on your mood. I would highly recommend Ling and Louie's!

This is a tough one - while it's not a great place by any means, I'm sure I'll be back again.

Each of the three times I've been here, someone I was with ordered something fried - and it always tasted the same - like oil-saturated breading wrapped around some meat. Last time we had to send it back it was so intolerable.

I do enjoy the happy hour menu a lot and there are good deals to be had - last Saturday eve on the patio we were told it was happy hour all night (not sure if it was the patio, the day or what). I've also had the sizzling skillets here twice and they've always tasted pretty good, depite the splatters of oil that film everything when they bring it to your table.

Bottom line, don't expect great, expect okay - and dfeinitely don't order anything fried - even if it's listed as a house specialty or your server tells you it's really good.

I am almost sad to say I consider this place just another replica of PF Changs.  The only difference that I might see between the two is the sushi which is not half bad.  I had the Kung Pow Beef and my mom had the Firecracker Chicken with Broccoli.  The Kung Pow Beef needed a little seasoning added to it but there was none at our table and when we tried to get the server;s attention she was busy chatting with other servers or checking on the other tables.  She came back on once after delivering our dishes.  By the time she did come back, my mom and I ended up trading dishes and I was much happier eating the Firecracker Chicken.  It had the right amount of spice and the chicken was actually crispy which was very different from the regular grilled dishes I would typically get.  All in all this place is not bad if you want to grab an in expensive quick bite during happier hour as the drinks or pretty darn good.

This was our third or fourth time at this location and what a disappointment. Horrible service, the waiter even had to come back to our table and re-ask what we ordered-he had forgotten. No offers or suggestions, he barely spoke to us. And the food, I would expect more than miniature pieces of canned pineapple in a sweet & sour dish. And I think they forgot to put the wasabi in the wasabi mashed potatoes, dish was tasteless and bland.

I'll stick to PF Changs if I'm looking for Asian chain food.

This is pretty much your average American, Asian Bar and Grill, chain restaurant.  There is nothing really GREAT about this place.

I actually reviewed this place about a while ago, but felt that I was a bit unfair to the place.  Like I said earlier, it is your average, American, Asian Bar and Grill, so, I guess in my opinion, that being said.. You're not going to get really authentic Asian food.. They have their own spin on it.  Now, personally, I am not a big fan of this.. I've been spoiled with some of the best Asian food..  If you're looking for over the top, delicious, authentic Asian food, you won't find it here, but if you are looking for a lunch venue and in the area.. I guess I wouldn't rule this place out 100%.  The prices are decent, and the lunch portion (the only portion I've experienced) is a big portion!

I had the orange peel chicken with brown rice on the lunch menu.  Now, normally I wouldn't have gone with that choice, but we were chatting a lot, and it was totally one of those quick look to the menu and order the first thing you see decisions.  I didn't care for it so much.  It was mostly rice, some chicken, and some small bits of overcooked bok choy!  It just seemed slopped together.

I can't say anything about the service in this place.. it was all average, and nothing more.  You know how it goes, you get seated by a host, the server is nice, takes your order, tells you the specials, gives your food, fills up your water.. and that's about it.  At the same, I really cannot stand when you go to a restaurant, like a chain restaurant, or similar and the server talks and talks and talks.  I also hate being bothered by server more than enough times.. Really..   So, I guess, overall.. the service was fine.

I know I'll end up coming back here sometime, I work down the street from the mall and I think it's important to go back to places after having a "just-ok" experience.  May as well give it another chance.

My husband and I came here for dinner and I was really disappointed with both the food and the service. I like all sorts of Asian food but Ling and Louie's let me down. I hate going to places where everything is fried, which seems to be the case here. Granted I know Asian food is more often fried than not, but I guess I keep hoping to find a place that will bend their cuisine to the health trend and have healthier options for health-conscious people. The service was all right. The server came to the table a couple of times and i had to wait about 5 minutes for a refill, which seems a little long. Overall, I would skip this place.

Asian fusion. Hip decor. Family vibe. Quebec & I-70.

    Totally confused?

Welcome to Ling & Louie's, the latest restaurant to land in Stapleton's Northfield Mall. Open now for just under a month, this new hotspot is a far cry from many of the retro-ghetto-kitsch Chinese haunts about town or even that of the ever popular P.F. McChangs. The feel here is more stylish, more west coast sushi spot. Step one foot inside and you'll see what I mean; walls of cascading water and decorative barricades of Lucky Bamboo serve as a perimeter around scads of tables and a surprisingly large two-sided bar set right in the middle of the eatery. Almost spa-like, the energy of the space is eclectic, warm and anything but cramped or congested.

As for the food, Ling Louie's cuisine delivers everything the decor promises - unexpected flavors and elegant presentation. Peek inside the menu and you'll find that all the usual suspects are there (calamari, crab cheese wontons and ginger beef broccoli), but it's the more exotic duck entrees and over-the-top king crab dishes that make Ling & Louie's atypical for Denver.

On our visit, we started with the Tom Kha Gai soup, which if you're not familiar with is a coconut milk based chicken and mushroom soup. We then opted for their sashimi ahi ginger salad, Bangkok Duck and even sampled the Evil Jungle Princess Beef, an unbelievably delicious dish made with tender marinated slices of filet mignon sauteed in a red curry peanut sauce served over long beans and mixed vegetables. And if you're not in mood for a full-blown meal, no problem, Ling & Louie's offers a nice selection of light noodle bowls and entree soups and salads. Best of all, with everything on the menu ranging from $10 to $15, you won't have to rework the budget just to dine here.

Ling & Louie's, a new spot where you'll feel right at home, and like you're in a totally different city all at the same time.

This place was really good.  We got there during happy hour on Monday evening so the big beer was only $2 and apps were a nice price too.  I had Firecracker chicken and it was HOT!!  I wanted to finish it but my mouth couldn't take it.  The food was great tasting all around and most interesting were the nachos.  Fried won ton chips covered in an Asian barbecue sauce, Ginger guacamole and I think it was wasabi sour cream.  So different!  I would definitely go again if I return to Colorado.

Ling and Louie's is a decent spot.  Though the menu itself doesn't have many vegetarian options, they will sub tofu for any of the protein listed on the menu.  The service is adequate put not spectacular.  Not bad for chain Asian.

My friend and I went for lunch because we had been told that it was suppsed to be "gormet asian cuisine" and it was far from it. It seemed more like Asian fast food. The restaurant was not very nice, more cheap looking and the food was not at all worth the price. Our waitress also over charged us for our meal. If you are looking for asian food, there are much better places to go

    One word review: Interesting.

Ok...I'll explain more. As others have mentioned, this is in Northfield Stapleton. It is a swanky Asian restaurant. Parking is on the side and you must walk from a parking lot to the restaurant. If you have someone in your party that is disabled in some way, they might want to be dropped off at the front.

Here are the standout features for this restaurant:
+Ambiance: The restaurant is very pretty. There is a backdrop with water running behind glass that is beautiful.
+Service staff...I'm sure they get paid ok here. The staff is very helpful. Our male server said he was the catering director of the restaurant. He was able to sub in anything that me and my guests desired. He checked on us repeatedly (in a good way) and filled up glasses quickly.
+Fun names of items on menu... I ordered the Evil Jungle Princess Shrimp. :)

    Cons of restaurant:
+High price for novelty. Personally I was not in love with my dish above. I felt that alot of the dishes had a flashy name and sheen to cover up the fact that the dishes were pretty basic or bland. The shrimp was OK, but I wasn't wowed. Items on the menu are also flambed as well...

+Did I already mention high price? LOL

Bottom line....cute chain restaurant that might satisfy members of your party, especially if they like flashiness. I personally like to find restaurants that are cheap and good...no thrills. I was taken here on a business lunch. Would I go back? Yes....if someone else is paying! :)

I've been to Ling and Louies several times now, and I've never been disappointed.  The food is consistently good, and the service is great.  The Walnut Chicken is awesome.  I loved the Mango Chicken, the Chicken Satay, and the Shrimp and Avocado rolls.  The Evil Jungle Princess (Panang Curry) is done really well, too.  My friend is in love with their Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, and they give you a pretty nice sized portion when you order it as a side dish.  The Happy Hour deals are really good, too.
