I am that squeemish girl who passes out when she sees a needle and closes her eyes through every procedure. Luckily, I FINALLY found a dentist who meets every need and want that I have. His office is beautifully decorated and small enough for that homey intimate feeling. Every thing seems to be brand new and state of the art including furniture, decor, and dental equipment. The staff includes his sweeter than candy wife who works the front desk, and a few others who were extremely comforting and professional. Today was my first visit and also my first fill. At first I was horrified when I learned that I had two cavities that needed to be dealt with. But once the procedure was about to begin I was comforted by the kind words and confidence of the doctor. I DID NOT FEEL A THING! What a relief it was to be told that I would not feel a thing, and then actually not feel a thing. This is the first dentist I have been to that I actually have trusted and felt confident about, and I have been to a few. If you are looking for that personal experience, instead of that alienated hospital feel, this is the place for you.

I absolutely love Dr. Lindblom!  He is like God's gift to dentistry... I worked briefly as a dental assistant and so I have a pretty good idea of what good work looks like and he is just awesome!  The girls that work in the office are great too and I am SO completely bummed that my new insurance won't cover visits to his office :  (

I've actually fallen asleep during many of my procedures and I love how he always gives a little jaw massage after particularly long treatments... they also provide a nice warm damp washcloth to freshen up when you're done.  I can't say enough about this guy!  I would recommend him to ANYONE!  He's really nice too... definitely nerdy but very warm and friendly.  I MISS YOU, DR. L!

If I could give this dentist 6 stars and never again give a 6 star rating for anything else in my entire life I'd do it in a nanosecond.  I went to Dr. Lindblom from ages 4-23, and through plenty of cavities, a root canal, and countless cleanings he was nothing less than amazing.  This is a small, intimate set up owned by Dr. Lindblom and his wife (one of the receptionists) where one can truly feel comfortable and well cared for.  I have a random tooth enamel problem so I'm prone to cavities, however never did a single one hurt.  Honestly, it took until I was a teenager to even realize I was receiving Novocaine shots - sounds crazy, but that is how gentle his hand is, and how far he goes to make the patient comfortable.  I never see needles, he always uses topical numbing gel appropriately, and his work has never needed to be replaced.  My current dentist in Chicago was wowed by his work, in that fillings were perfectly completed and have lasted so well.  I was told by the new dentist that I still don't even have to think about getting any of them replaced for at least another 5 years - some of these I have had for almost 20 years now.

Take yourself here.  Take your family here.  Take everyone you know here.  If you have kids, he's fantastic with them.  Serious dental work to be done?  Perfect job every time.  My root canal went so well that I can happily say that the only thing I didn't like about it was that it took long hours in the chair - however with bite rests and dental dams and the like, I even would fall asleep to the smooth jazz playing while I let my mouth be worked on.

I know this will be the best dentist I'll ever go to in my life - no offense to anyone present or future.  Dr. Lindblom has simply created a space like no other.  I could go in there today and would be greeted warmly by my name, and asked how Chicago has been lately.  How often would you consider your dentist a friend as well?

If I ever need dental work which won't be covered by my insurance here, I'll happily go home to San Diego and have Dr. Lindblom do it.
