Even more beautiful when the lily pads are "blooming." It was a pretty windy day so there was no fishing for DH. We still enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
Be warned that you have to cross a smallish dam of rocks to get to the shore. Took a little concentration to maneuver w/ a little one in a front pack :)

WOW...like a tiny Alpine lake...rugged rocks and gnarled trees!
Best of all...you could drive to it...albeit on a one lane road!
