593 Edgewood Avenue SEThe lighting selection at lighting loft is excellent. I purchase a fixture for my dinning area and I am very happy with it. If you looking for unique lighting check this place out!

I've actually purchased a couple of pieces from here for the loft and enjoy the customer service as well as the fantastic selection of lights! If you are looking for something different and want to add a focus point to any room, this is the place to go. The prices range from average to very expensive, but I believe in paying more for a one of a kind piece! Those on a budget, check out the clearance room on the 2nd floor as well as throughout the show room. I've seen some beautiful $100.00 lights mixed in with $2,000 lights...so really look!
The customer service is truly exceptional. David and I waited at least 30 min for someone to help us out on purchasing a light bulb for one of our fixtures that we bought there. Since it was so busy, all of the associates were running around and trying to maintain some order. Finally, the owner came over to talk to us and not only apologized but gave us 2 light bulbs at no cost! With that said, we'll definitely be back in a month or so to get another light fixture that we have been looking at for awhile now!
Special Tip - Can't figure out which lighting fixtures to compliment your home? Hire one of their designers to come out to your home to do a home consultation! Or...you could just give me a call for some good shopping advice! :)

The products at Lighting Loft are high end, designer fixtures. It's products for big wallets and big ideas. I have yet to buy anything here, I just look around and ooh and aah at some of the really cool products they sell. So far no one has been irritated with my obvious lack of intention to buy anything. Having a light fixture that costs more than my first car is still out of my price range, sadly.

Part of the emerging Edgewood Avenue retail district, down the street from Thumbs Up Diner and the Krog St. Bridge, this shop features a wide selection of modern and nouveau-retro interior lights and lamps. We're talking lots and lots of lights here, people. It's one of those places you can just walk around in all day. Most of it is out of my price range, but so is the stuff at the Louvre and I still go.
