This place really has one of the best deals going in the city to go out and get some drinkies, so I think it's time to hit it up! The rumor that there is nowhere to drink cheap in NYC is false! Thursday night is the perfect night to go out in NYC, and this place is one of the best. $5 for all you can drink is amazing, and the drinks are not watered down at all. Get there as close to 5 as you can; the place really fills up fast but its worth it.

This bar is big with the after work crew, what with the $5 "open bar" and all on Wednesday (and apparently Thursday) nights. Here you have your typical midtown scene -- late 20s men in collared shirts, women with their perfectly highlighted hair, everyone reliving college frat-like days... so it's not really my scene. That being said, I went here a few times with my coworkers, but we always left after the open bar ended. But even then, the drinks included in the open bar aren't good so I usually got one of the well drinks and then went on to order what I actually wanted. We also had a private work party here, which was nice because they have a great fancy martini list, and because it's a really cool space, big and elegant, and the DJs, although ridiculously loud to the point of forcing you to scream to be heard, play good music. But not good enough to go there by choice. Just not my scene (and yes, little about midtown is my scene, but you can do better).
