ALLAN is RUDE !!

My friend is trying out the classes for the first time, she liked Azra but  is very upset because Allan was extremely rude to her (she came back home in tears).. Another lady in her class mentioned to her that he was very rude to her as well.  Recommend you do not try out his classes - he does not provide a supportive environment to relax and learn.

Other than that, the place is a nice and cute Yoga studio.. however she is just about to give up on the place because Allan takes quite a few classes.

Cute yoga studio for Fremont.  It's a small studio space but you receive quality teaching and by the end of your class you feel like  a human jello (awesome!).  I've always feel like I've gotten a great workout and appreciate the relaxing environment they create.  Plus, those giant roll pillows that they have available for use are fantastic for relaxation poses.  Nothing like putting yourself into human pretzel shapes to make you feel good.  I am all about that!

Parking is a bit tough as there are only a few spots behind the building and on the street but if you don't mind a few steps you can find parking elsewhere.

I would love to see this studio move to a larger space and offer additional classes in the evening after work hours.  I'd attend more regularly, especially if they offered Hatha Flow in the evenings.

If you're new they have a special deal... Yoga for 30 day for only $30.  Nice!

Instructors are all great --- I especially like the classes taught by Erin (Power Yoga), Candee (Vinyasa), Allan, (Vinyasa) and Azra (Heated Vinyasa).   It's a small studio--with hardwood floors (a plus!) and two small windows--but the place never gets that crowded.  You do yoga alternating facing each other and there are no mirrors to see yourself (but that's ok, since you should be focusing inward, right?).  I enjoy the variety of yoga classes they offer and still have to try all of them. The $30 for 30 days is a great way to get started.   When I want to do more relaxing, neighborhood community yoga, I go here.  It's the closest I've come yet to a great yoga class I had in Maui . . .

I am also doing $30 for 30 days and it's almost over, I wouldn't mind going monthly for this small but cozy and friendly yoga studio.

All the yoga teachers are really nice and patient. I've tried Colleen, Dawn, Allan and Azra classe and they are all very good and relaxing. If you are a beginner, def. try all colleen's classes. If you are experience with Yoga, take the Power Yoga.

One downside is that parking can be really bad and some popular classes are really crowded.

LYS is my favorite yoga studio.  Unfortunately for me, it's not as easy to get to these days; I used to stop by 2-3 times per week, on my way home from work.

They have a wide variety of classes from Hatha Yoga to Heated Vinyasa, which is comparable to Bikram Yoga, but  not quite as warm.  The studio is large enough to fit 10-15 people comfortably.

They have a wide array of classes from beginner to intermediate and the instructors I've worked with in the past (Soma, Azra, and Dawn) are all very patient and nurturing.  They ensure you are learning the proper poses and are willing to work with you to get the most out of your yoga practice.

A monthly newsletter is sent if you subscribe via email and they also have group outings where everyone can participate.  Private classes are also offered.  Parking can get crowded, but street parking is also available.  The ambiance is perfect because they keep the studio dimly lit, which makes it easier to relax and feel rejuvenated when your hour and fifteen minutes of yoga is up.

Encouraged by my GF who went to Lifestretch Yoga, I signed up for their introductory "$30 for 30 days" package a little over a year ago. I am one of those "worse case" scenarios as far as flexibility goes -- spending my days in front of a computer as a programmer so I probably couldn't be less flexible!

I started with Colleen's yoga basics & restorative yoga classes which were great -- you're eased into it which was important for me as I increased my flexibility & explored my practice.

After a couple months I started branching out & taking classes instructed by Soma, Dawn, Allan, Candee, and Erin. All are great teachers. I used to go 2-3 times a week, but have settled on making at least Erin's power yoga class every week as that aligns most with my yoga interests. I'd give 5 stars if there were more power yoga classes!

Parking isn't generally an issue (both street & the lot in the rear), though some of the more popular classes can get quite crowded, so you should plan on getting there a few minutes early.

i don't have much to compare to since this was my first time EVER trying yoga. i know...jane, welcome to the 21st century. the first class i tried was YOGA BASICS w/ colleen which is a great class for beginners. at first i felt that yoga was too slow for me and wasn't sure i was getting any kind of workout (sweat = working out) but afterwards, i felt refreshed (maybe it's all in my head)! i've also tried VINYASA w/ candee who is also good but more into the "your body is a tree" and dawn who is very helpful and explains very thoroughly and my fav so far. i am currently doing the $30 for 30 days and not sure if i'll enroll since yoga classes are quite expensive and not sure i'll get my money's worth but for those that are into yoga and close by...check it out!

who knew that such a nice yoga studio would be located in fremont.  this place is tiny with only one room for instruction, but i like it, b/c it is intimate.  i just signed up for the 30 days for $30, which entitles newcomers to the studio  to attend as many classes as you want for a month.  this is a GREAT deal, b/c classes are usually $15/each.

i have taken power yoga w/ erin (tough!), and i tried kundalini w/ himmat today for the first time, which was definitely different and unexpected.  my friend swears by the pre-natal yoga classes.  whatever class you take, you leave w/ a sense of peace, calm, and relaxation, which is the point of yoga, right?  i can't wait to try the other classes!
