Dr. Lori Libs and Dr. David Libs are true healers. They have unique gifts and knowledge, and practice in such different ways. Whether you should see one or the other depends on your specific situation. They offer a free consultation and have convenient early morning and Saturday hours. If you dont have insurance, they would come up with a plan that would work for you. they have a sign in their office that says "we wouldn't turn people away because of $$."
Before you consider surgery, go and see them. Even if you've seen a chiropractor already and are reluctant to even bother with another, they won't charge you for a consultation. It is without dispute that they have helped so many people feel better, it's worth going to see them.
I might have already posted this, but I had a hurting shoulder for over a year, which was cured by Dr. Lori, and it never recurred.
Also, going to Libs Chiropractic has had a profound affect on my son, who is now 19. He stopped drinking soda and adopted other healthy habits from knowing the Libs, he was that strongly influenced by conversations he had with both Dr. Lori and Dr. David.

Dr. Libs is the best chiropractor I've found in town. He is a real nice guy. I started seeing him a year ago and he's done a great job taking care of my lower back pain. I still have some more work needed for my neck pain though.
His office is clean and comfortable and he has hired a friendly and helpful staff.
One thing he has that I have never seen before is his custom jigsaw massager. It's awesome if you have a sore muscle that is in need of heavy duty massaging!
The location is great as you can walk over to the Broken Yolk for breakfast afterwards! -

I've been going to Dr. David regularly for 6 years and since I recommend him to my friends, I figured I might as well recommend him to Yelpers, too!
Long story short, I got into a car accident 10 years ago and an old neck injury from it was creeping back and starting to cause health problems with one of my eyes (same nerve) and a friend smartly recommended Dr. David. My grandfather was a chiropractor so I've been raised on this sort of thing and know that my health is majorly related to the health of my spine. As soon as Dr. David got me straightened out, eye problems disappeared and I have been visiting him regularly ever since just to keep it all in check.
I feel grateful to have someone that I can trust because I know that not all chiropractors are the real deal...Dr. David is. And with all of this aside, he's personable, outgoing, and always interested in what's going on in my life.
Before going to a doctor that will just give you drugs to make a health problem go away, or even worse, suggest surgery, give Dr. David a try! -

Dr. David is amazing! He is very friendly, informative, patient and caring. He took the time to get to know me & find out how my back pain has affected my life. He genuinely cared for my well-being. For anyone who is at all skeptical about chiropractors, I encourage you to visit Libs Chiropractic Center where the highly qualified and trustworthy staff will change the way you feel. I have been going to Kathy Miller on a regular basis for the last 6 months after an old injury from a fall started giving me grief. Each and every time I see Kathy, I leave feeling pain-free and that much closer to being rid of this injury for good. I have complete faith in Kathy's abilities and she is not one to try anything risky or anything that she knows isn't guaranteed to help me. I have also heard wonderful things about Dr. Libs so I'm sure you will be in good hands no matter who you see at Libs Chiropractic Center.

I've been seeing Dr. David for my scoliosis since 1996. I remember when I first met him for my really messed up neck. Not only did he agree to see me after hours to initially diagnose me, but went out of his way (as he does with all his patients) to adjust my neck everyday until I gradually became better and better each day.
Since then I've gone for regular adjustments and have brought my whole family. Over the years I've branched out to try acupuncture and adding wonderful supplements for my health.
Mari the receptionist has been there as long as I've been coming in and is very sweet and knowledgeable about all the services available.
Everyone is just great.
We have seen Dr. Lori as she fills in for Dr. David. She is very kind.
So if your looking for a Chiropractic team that offers great service, lot's of humor and is genuinely concerned about your health......look no further. They are simply the best. -

I am extremely thankful that I found Dr. David.
After one month of seeing Dr. David regularly, I have much less neck and back pain. I feel great and most importantly am seeing tangible results. I would like to mention that over the last year, I noticed that I had trouble speaking and communicating in social settings. Probably not extremely noticeable to others, but It caused me to be less confident as I once was. Dr. David has been adjusting vertebra in my neck, directly relating to brain function. I can honestly say, that now I feel more confident and articulate. I will no longer need to shy away from public speaking.

I love the great team at Libs Chiropractic. In January 2009 I started treatment after a car accident, that actually happened 2 years earlier, when I was experiencing pain in my shoulder. Dr. David was very thorough, taking x-rays and proposing a treatment plan. I feel so much better and have marked improvement from consistant treatment. Scheduling is easy and flexible and you can drop in if you're have an emergency. They also offer massage, acupuncture, and many other services. Love, love, love them!

Kathryn Miller is one of the best Chiropractors I have had. Pricing is very reasonable and you can get a package for very cheap. Bottom line is she fixed my back when others didn't.
Ask her to tell you some funny stories about Russel Crowe. Turns out he is a client of hers. -

The main chiropractor, I beleive his name is Dr. David- he was great. He took me in last minute on a Saturday no less, and helped me through my excruciating pain of a back spasm. Not only did he do a couple of adjustments to offer some releif, he was very caring and friendly.

Dr. Lori is so caring, gentle and sensitive. I have had a chronic neck/shoulder ache and she always makes me feel better. She has cured my 'migraine' headache that I have suffered with for years. You feel welcome when you walk in the door. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Kathy Miller is the best chiropractor I have been to. I have been to quite a few over the years and she always makes me feel much better and never tries to pressure you into coming in more than you need to. Everyone I have referred to her has been as happy as I have been. And she is even available on Sundays.

Beware! I took my son to Dr David for treatment and was fed a bunch of lies. He talked us into 100's of dollars in xrays and adjustments that never caused any relief. He said my son's legs are 1/2 inch different in size (for which he gave him a lift to wear in his shoe), and wanted us to spend $2500+ for a year of treatment. I then found another chiropractor who confirmed this was all bogus and his way of getting us to have to visit him weekly. The actual diagnoses from the "good chiropractor" was that his muscle tension was causing his spine to twist, causing his legs to be mis-aligned - after some muscle stretching and adjustments, we were able to see that his legs indeed are the same length and had he worn the lift prescribed by Dr Libs, he would have never experienced true relief. I say avoid this chiropractic office and go elsewhere!

Libs Chiropratic Center is by far the best place for health and wellness in pacific beach! Starting with a car accident years ago Dr David cured my whiplash. I have had such good care there over the years with comprehensive holistic treatments many that are covered by my insurance. I bring my whole family now to see Dr Lori and truly enjoy the experience.

My wife had a terrible sciatic problem from pulling weeds and Kathy Miller's chiropractic magic helped her get off the drugs in a couple days. Combined with Brent Keime's excellent acupuncture, she is getting better every day. This can take months to resolve and they did it in days. Thank you!

The only reason I can't give 5 is because I really have nothing to compare it to - this was my first chiropractic experience and I LOVED it. I saw Dr. David and he was thorough, attentive and professional. From the experience Ive describe to others they all tell me hes is a proper chiro and doesnt want to just "rack em and crack em." He took the time to talk to me about my history, activities, pain, etc. - I immediately appreciated his bedside manner and knew he was a good doctor because he was talking about things I already knew from doing pilates and being an athlete my whole life. He did a full spinal xray before aligning me - WHICH IS WHAT YOU WANT!! Don't let someone align you with out a proper xray! He thoroughly explained the xray to me and made sure I understood what was going on in my body before he began to treat me. After he aligned me - the pain was almost instantly alleviated. It was not completely gone, but I would say 80% better. I did feel sore the following day, which is normal, but nothing severe like pinching pain or overwhelming aches. I definitely trust Dr. David and would recommend him for any first time chiro patients who are hesitant about getting properly assessed and getting the result you anticipate. Dr. David will put you at ease, doesn't pressure you into anything, and knows what he's talking about!! I'm so glad I finally went to see him!
