My son almost refuses to eat any other pizza except for Liberty's cheese pizza. The other pizza place nearby is Dominos, which we think is awful. I have never had a sub or salad from them.

I went in for a slice of pizza for my son on a Sunday afternoon and was told they don't do slices then. What?! With teens trolling about, a couple of bucks in their pocket, you don't sell slices all afternoon? Seems like a no-brainer to me!

My daughter likes their sausage pizza, but it isn't like crumbles of meat sausage, it is like thick round slices of sausage.

I like Liberty's overall, though I wish they took credit cards. And sometimes their staff can be less than friendly.

Someone surprised us here at work last week and catered in some food for us on Christmas  Eve. We had a nice variety of food, salad, Baklava, Stuffed Shells, Prime Rib, Baked Potatoes. Three was plenty of food and it all tasted great. If I lived a closer, I'd be more then willing to give them a shot from their regular menu.

Can we turn Liberty's into a pizza franchise?  I desperately crave it about once a week.  This was where everyone loved to grab food when all we could do was walk around Cochituate twiddling our thumbs.  So why not stop into Liberty's and grab a slice or 2?

Maybe not the best place to sit and eat if you've got more than 4 in your party.  The place only has about 6 tables, so it's best to order to go.  And I don't know if the guy is still delivering, but many years ago, he would ALWAYS remember to bring a dog treat for my pup.  It's relationships like that and thoughtfulness that really shows that they appreciate your business.

No one has been able to recreate the same taste of Liberty's Italian Subs.  I actually had my very first one from there and have been addicted since.  Jersey doesn't offer what they do.  When I call a place up around me to order and I ask them to toast the sub, all I get is toasted bread.  When I ask for everything and pickles, I get "huh? we don't have pickles".  Liberty never had a problem with that request and actually, THEY were the ones that turned me onto the toasted Italian sub (which means, toast the meat & cheese ON the bread, not just the bread itself)!

And don't get me started on their pizza!  Now everyone says NYC is where you get "real" pizza, but I beg to differ.  From the aromatic sauce to the fresh cheese, to the buttery crust - I've never tasted a better pizza.  My ex-bf, who was born & raised in Jersey tried their pizza on a visit home and even he was extremely impressed.  And he's a pizza connesuir.  He'd eat it every night if he could!  Now all I hear is "So when do we get to go back to Liberty's?"

What are you waiting for?  Try it today!

I guess I am forced to give this place a full star. I work close by and have grabbed lunch here several times. Even though I have had bad experiences here in the past, I have given them the benefit of the doubt and gone back - no longer.

The pizza by the slice is terrible, and chances are very good you will end up with a tiny slice of cold pizza. Today my runt slice had a 2" wide crust, no joke. The help is always rude, with the sole exception of the owner who seems nice. Subs are now over $7.00; way overpriced for the area.

See you at Natalie's, Georgios, Pizza Wagon, North End Treats, Theo's or any of the other far superior lunch spots in the area.

Avoid. No Slices except between 11-1.  Probably because all the cops hanging out in their ate away their profits. $7 for a garden salad.  Natalies Italian Kitchen 1/2 mile down on rt. 27 is far superior, cheaper, friendlier and great NY Italian style pizza. Dont bother.

Ok Tracy B...1 Review, all 5 stars for  Liberty's and you've been a member for over a year? Hmmm me thinks something is up.

Regardless, I do have to give it to Liberty's that they are involved with the community and the people (owners and staff) are nice. Still I'd go to Wayland House or Natalie's before here mainly because anytime I get a Liberty's slice I have to use the old napkin trick.

I'll take Wayland House any day over Liberty. Little too greasy for my liking. Like the crust tho.

As a high schooler and even now, Liberty has been serving my favorite hometown comfort food and continues to remain almost perfect in the pie-making business.  The subs are a bit bland, but order a pizza and stay to eat to discover what I used to live off of for so long.  The slices are deep with plentiful toppings, so those looking for New York style need not apply.  Initially best eaten with a plastic knife and fork to stave off scalding your mouth until the cheese cools a bit and the slices stay in one piece as you scarf 'em down.  I was shown the wonderful combination of onions and pepperoni a few years back, and I have a hard time deviating whenever I find myself back there.  Order delivery with a two liter on a summer night while watching the Sox to remember why adolescence was so enjoyable.

As a new comer to the town, we wanted to try local pizza places. After reading reviews of Liberty Pizza, we decided to give it a try.
Really, besides nostalgia and small-town (seemed like owner knew everyone who came in), I really don't see anything good about this place. Pizza tasted disgusting, texture wasn't right--, tomato sauce was too sweet had an off taste too it, meatball topping was dry and bland.
    Never again.

I have not eaten inside the restaurant, but my husband works in Natick and brings home pizza from here! Today I am sampling a roast beef grinder- very excited!  It is going to be great!  My 4 yr. old loves their pizza- it is delicious.  The sauce is unique, but very tasty!  The onion rings are a must-have, and the husband says the people working there are very  nice :-)

Want good quality food? go to Liberty Pizza!

I love the food... their subs are bigger then any in the area, and their pizza is always fresh and hot out of the oven. they also have very good french fries and onion rings, and if you are in the mood for a salad they have a large variety of salads and salad dressings.

liberty pizza is a very family friendly place, the owners really know the town, and they take an interest in the school and the students.

In the end, when i am in the mood for a good quality meal that will fill me up i always go to liberty pizza

I'm surprised to see bad reviews for Liberty's in Wayland.  The prices are higher than most places - but the subs and pizza are very good.  By far they have the best sausage & pepper subs around.

I just don't get this place... The local support for it brought me there but after giving it a couple shots I can say that I won't go back.  In fact, I'll go out of my way to go somewhere else.  I'd say that Liberty is one of those places that you needed to grow up on to love.  Every town has them and Wayland isn't any different.

The food here is plain, at best.  I've had both the pizza and subs and neither was good.  I would probably have enjoyed a good piece of cardboard more.

Delicious crispy-crust pizza with fresh, fruity sauce and not too much cheese. Big fat Greek salad with lots of feta and a chewy pita also recommended. Best place for a bite near the Natick Mall. I used to go here all the time during my summers at home. Now that I live on the west coast, I miss it all the time!
