I love the mens clothing selection at this place.  All the clothes are really cool and in style.  I probably spend most of my money on shoes here (ya, I know that sounds funny, but I love shoes).

They have such a wide range of choices and designers to choose from.  They also have sweet accessories like watches, rings, bracelets (manly bracelets).

The womens section is also very nice.  If I was a chick, I would spend my daddy's (daddy could be a father, or a father figure, or a sugar daddy) hard earned money here as well.

It is a bit pricey (which is why i wanted to give it 4 stars) but then I remembered they have a sales section (i described a bit in the value tip below), which allowed me to bump them to 4.5 stars (which then makes me have to round up) so they got a 5 star rating from me.

Value tip:  They have a sales section where you can great clothes (and shoes) for an amazing price.  They have shirts, jeans, shoes for less then $50 (on most items at least).

Aside from their one saving grace - stacks of True Religions, AGs, and other fab jeans labels - a lot of their clothes were kind of strange.  Not, "wow, that's kind of unusual and awesome in a couture sort of way", but more like, "Wow, that's ugly, and looks like it came out of a really cheap and shitty store on Melrose, and damn girl, I hope you didn't actually PAY for that."

I didn't really understand the merchandising of the store at all - nothing really stood out because it was just so jumbled and horribly disorganized that it was making my eyes hurt.  Plus, the salespeople seemed really desperate to just sell you something - anything - and hovered over me like vultures.

Let's Go?  How about, Let's Not.

I ordered a coat from their store over the phone that they had up on their website. Both the sales person Jody (Jodi?) and the owner was super helpful and friendly.

The true test of being genuine was when the coat wasn't my size. They offered a full refund with no issues. I would do business with them for sure. Now if they would add more inventory to their website...

I don't come into the actual store much, but I like shopping on the website for jeans (I like AG and rich n skinny) and will browse the sales for good deals. They don't seem to have as much selection online as they used to though. Would like to see more variety of brands and maybe a little more eclectic designers.

OK total RIP OFF.  Do not buy anything here!!!!!!!!  Came to the village and bought a pair of jeans.  They were a little tight and needed to exchange them(MY BAD).  They did not have my size and did not have any jeans in my size.  So wanted my money back literally the next day....SORRY ONLY exchanges.   Spent over $200 dollars and got store credit for stuff not in my size....BSBSBSBSBS

I love shopping at Let's Go!   And let's get this straight to all you haters out there: NO, I am NOT a La Jolla socialite with oodles of money.  Quite the opposite actually.  I didn't say that I spend money like a banchee while I'm in there, but there are so many other reasons to love shopping and this store!

The place is set up really nice, and open.  Sales personnel are all nice and helpful, even if it's obvious that you won't be helping there commission at all that day :-)  If you're lucky, sometimes you can catch some good sales - mainly on shoes, I've seen.  Just bought a pair of Charles David sandals for $20 and some fabulous sparkly turquoise flats by some fancy-schmancy person I don't know for $20 - can't beat that!

I like the men's clothes more than the women's, but that might be because I'm not up on the all the new trends (mainly 'cuz I don't care).  Though when I browsed the last time, I did see a lot of Betsey Johnson dresses that were awesome!  (And $400......needles to say, they stayed on their lovely hangers).  But cool shirts, jackets, and shoes for the guys at not-so-scary prices.  (Ex: button-down, long-sleeved, embroidered shirt for $50).

For the record: what I like less expensive options?  Of course!  That's why it's a 4-star, not a 5.

I stopped by here with my tourist friend. There were some really cute stuff! I really like all the jeans they carry. I wasn't too fond of the dresses, they were alright. The guys that were working were extremely helpful and answered all my questions! I'll definitely be coming back soon!

I don't have any good analogies like Julie so here goes:

Let's Go sucks.

Is it this season or is the new trend ugly? Everything is expensive. Weird selection of shoes... 9/10 are ugly. Good job. Who's your buyer? Dresses... some cute. Gotta admit Diane von blah blah dress was to die for. LOTS OF HIDEOUS DRESSES TOO!

God I'm critical.

Salespeople here don't give a rat's ass about service; they basically get paid to dress up in and talk to their coworkers. Maybe if you a.) are a celebrity b.) have cash/plastic falling out of your wallet c.) are plastic or d.) come in on a day when the stars and planets are aligned, you will get a smile from any of them.

Every time I force myself to come here hoping for some friendly greeting from the employees or some non-douchebag clothing, I leave this place feeling disgruntled and dirty (and not in a good way).

Don't make the same mistake I did.

It is hit or miss for me here.  Sometimes I walk in there and walk out with 4 bags of clothing, other times I feel like I'm too old to be wearing the stuff.  The GO store down the block caters to the younger crowd and the Fashion Valley store caters the mall, I want to wear what Paris Hilton is wearing crowd so if I had to pick a store this one would fit me best.

GREAT selection of shoes, and jeans...........pricey, but worth it if you're wearing it alot!  The dresses range from super trendy, I'll wear it once to yes that is pretty and sexy and worth the $400 price tag............I like to go there sometimes for unique stuff when I feel like my closet is identical to every other girl in the PB/Downtown Area.............but sometimes I have a hard time justifying the price tag for a shirt that I may wear maybe two times.  The styles carried range a ton, kinda like the buyer was trying to make every girl in San Diego happy, there is no one set crowd that it can really identify with.

Lots of Juicy though which satisfies my Juicy Couture urge..........I can never get tired of Juicy for around the house, when I'm hungover, pilates or running errands.

Finding the perfect dress is almost better than finding the perfect man. The perfect dress will love you, pick you up when you're down, make you feel beautiful and hold you tightly all night.

Let's Go has one of the best dress selections in La Jolla. They'll cost ya, but, as I said before, the joy the dress will bring you far outweighs the few moments of shoppers remorse you'll surely experience after dropping $300.

i don't think the staff here give a shit about their customers at all.  they barely glance at you when you enter the store and they never offer to help you with anything.  that or they just stare at you intensely without saying a thing.  it just makes me not want to buy anything from this place.

yes, the clothing and shoes they offered were remarkable indeed...remarkably ugly.  sure the place is pretty well-stocked but with a bunch of crap.  there's a smaller, better store down the street with the same name (i have no idea why they would just have two of the same stores on one street) where the girls are super friendly and helpful.  plus they have much better brands there like frankie b and ed hardy and hudson.  so if you want to go to let's go you probably want to go to that one instead.  i seriously dont know why there's such difference between the two stores but avoid this bigger one unless you like horrible customer service and want to spend hundreds of dollars to look shitty.  im not saying the prices are bad but for $200 jeans you can definitely get a pair that doesn't make you look like an out of business hooker.

If I were to open a store I would want it to look like Lets Go! It is such a beautiful store, so well merchandised! I had a wonderful experience there, the sales people were friendly and they have lots of denim to choose from. True, it is pricey but HELLO you are in La Jolla what do you expect! Try their sales racks, always good finds there!

Let's go has to be commended for one thing:  Their two leveled spaciousness and sweeping stairwell.  You feel as though you just entered a fashion show, as the music welcomes you while you strut jauntily up and down the predominant stairs.  I used to stop there mostly for the shoes because I knew I 'd always find some feet covering goodies.  But the primordial reason of my shopping there was to grab my Earl--oh, so comely--jeans.  Unfortunately, they don't carry the haloed brand anymore and that has bumped them down on my shopping priority list.  The women's selection upstairs has a bit of everything and never appeared to be streamlined enough to make a fashion statement.  Quite disheveled, actually.  All in all, you may stop in for expensive, beautiful pumps or a moderately priced cropped jacket; that's about all Let's Go is good for.
