Princess Cake - tres leches.  Neon pink frosting, plastic wand AND a tiara.

Happy Birthday to everyone.

They also have really cheap chicken and steak soft tacos late into the night, which seemed to taste not at all bad.

I did hear that someone was shot here recently.  But these things happen.

This place is awesome because you can get a hot sandwich or tacos at 4:00am, and its super cheap. I used to get grilled cheeses here all the time. They were $1.50 or something crazy like that but now they might be up to $2.50. I also got a chicken sandwich that tasted like it came from Wendy's, but in a good way. Best to go in the middle of the night.

Fast, cheap no-nonsense fare.

Place can be a bit intimidating for the non-english speaker, but the staff are friendly and have a great memory for repeat customers.

Their prices are unbelievably cheap and the service is fast.  They also have a kitchen for making fast food like cheese burgers and fries, and I got to say, they taste pretty good.  However, beware of the bakery they put on display, because I don't think their sanitation is that good.  I once saw a fly trapped inside the display refrigerator, and it was all over the baked goods.  Always get the baked goods that just came out of the oven, not from the display refrigerator!

This bakery has an intersting selection of tempting latin baked goods. I love the tres leches cake here and at only $1.50 for a slice the size of a brick, yes you heard right only $1.50!!! it is well worth the hike over the williamsburg bridge for me. I have found it really helps if you speak some spanish when going into this bakery, but the people who work there are always so sweet and helpful... they do their best to communicate with you if they can't speak English.
