It's easy to miss this place at first, but make sure you find it. The coffee is excellent and the environment is perfectly cliche. Great for relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or a macchiato before the drive back home after a stay in The Door.

Cute and friendly staff, too. Only downside is that I felt intimidated, especially because I don't speak barista.

My favorite coffee house ever!  The actual house is a restored, historic log cabin that was pushed across the ice...(I forget the whole story) and there is weird local art on the walls, vintage lamps, outdoor seating, liberal hipsters talking about politics, cool design magazines, the best coffee - EVER, friendly staff and across from the water with a killer view.

This is one of my most favorite parts of Door County, it's truly heaven.  It's why I keep coming back, twice or 3 times a year.

First off, I have to admit, I do not drink coffee. So why am I writing a review of Leroy's Water Street Coffee shop? Well, that is a good question. I guess I have never been to Leroy's by myself. I always go with friends that drink coffee. They have never been disappointed in any of Leroy's selections. I do drink tea and love Leroy's Chi Tea Latte's and their Italian sodas. Winter or summer, Leroy's is a great place to stop for coffee and to relax. They offer munchies, like beagles, rolls, etc. to go with their coffee and tea selections. If you are a tourist, then you do not want to be rushed in Door County and Leroy's is the perfect place to start your day.

Don't blink or you'll miss it!  We were heading to Blue Horse Bistro for coffee and my husband saw this place.
Leroy's is a tiny place, no more than ten people can fit in here comfortably.  Full of the usual free-spirits, ageing hippies, etc.
Coffee is stored in glass canisters on the counter, marked with what I assume is a roasting date-this stuff was fresh, smelled it myself!!
We didn't order anything fancy, no lattes, no espressos,  just the house special blend.
OH MY GOD!  Once you drink this coffee, you'll know how crappy Starbuck's really is...NO, COFFEE IS NOT SUPPOSEDTO BE BITTER!
You've only been brainwashed to think it is.
This brew was strong, smooth and rich beyond belief...why did I not get the double? Why didn't I buy a lb of beans? Why????
I want to move here, then I could go to Leroy's every day.
Leroy's is dog friendly too.
Small assortment of pastry, biscotti, cookies, bagels to go with your fix. Also a nice variety of juices.

this place is awesome.

i worked down the street from leroy's (at this beautiful bed & breakfast -- village green lodge) for three or four summers and i would definitely always find myself coming here for coffee at some point in the day.  it's a great spot to hang out, sit in the sun, play games, grab a drink and relax.  as well as coffee, they have italian sodas in a large variety of flavors, which i find myself getting a lot on warm days.  they also have good pastries including really large muffins and delicious pound cake slices (there's this one that's part chocolate that is just to die for).

there is also outdoor seating, which is excellent for people watching on a hot summer day.

lots of locals and repeat customers.  friendly staff.

5 stars for sure.
