FIFTY CENT BEERS on Sunday and Monday! And we're not talking PBR - you can get whatever beer you want for fifty cents! Stella, Newcastle, whatever! Also, $6 pitchers good god this place is awesome. And you would expect a giant hole in the wall but it's actually a pretty nice place. They also have a pool table if you're into that. And the bartenders are super friendly and fun. Bagged munchies such as cheetos and potato chips are also offered for your enjoyment. The walk to and from the subway stop is a little scary but it's totally worth it!

Cheap drinks ($2 pints all day, every day), a pool table, nice ambiance, karaoke on Tuesday & Thursdays.... why hasn't this place taken off yet?  Well the neighborhood is a quiet one.  The crowd can be a weird one also (probably friends of the bartender Allison).  Bring your group of friends to Leo's and you will have a fantastic night.

The meeting ground for Carroll Gardens' white trash. Last night a bunch of punks congregated on the sidewalk at three o'clock in the morning and tested out a motorcycle's engine, waking up everyone in a five block radius. And this is to say nothing of the obsenity-laden fights that regularly spill out onto the sidewalk til all hours.

I don't care how cheap the beer is.  This place is everything that its tasteful, lovely surrounding neighborhood is not.

Please, please, for the love of human kindness, do not frequent this establishment -- neither the management nor the clientele has any regard for the families or Carroll Gardens old-timers who live nearby.  It is not a local neighborhood bar in the likes of PJ O'Hanley's or Abilene, and no one from the neighborhood seems to hang out there.   Music can be heard clearly from several blocks away weeknights and weekends alike, often accompanied by drunken screeching on a karaoke machine, also turned up as loud as possible.  Clots of spectacularly drunken men have taken to hanging around outside nearly until daylight, screaming at each other, honking their car horns, and proclaiming their love and respect for Coney Island.  So I'm not clear why they don't go there.  Instead of attracting local customers, Leo's is trying to make everyone within a mile radius hate them, and succeeding beautifully.  Will they please just go out of business already?
