A trip to Phillies spring training is just not complete without a trip to Lenny's!!"

Yes, the food is great, as opined by the other reviewers. Yes, the portions are quite large and the bowl of Danish that you get at your table is really "yummy" All of this is very true. But... there's more...

The place is covered with amazing sports memorabilia, pictures of legends (and not such legends) of the Phillies and other teams and sports. However.. from the moment you walk in, you know that it is the unofficial breakfast - lunch of the Phillies spring training season... I have seen plenty of the boys of summer chowing down there over the years..

It is within walking distance to Brighthouse field, the spring training complex owned by the Phillies as well as the home of the "A" Threshers and the rookie league Gulf Coast Phillies.

The Phillies bias is very apparent, and it must be quite awkward in the neighborhood,  considering who the Phightins' beat to be the 2008 world champions!!!   Go PHILS! do it again in 2009!!

surely the best deli in the clearwater area. they specialize in breakfast and deli food. you will always get a big portion, and the quality is always tops. i used to work across us 19 from lenny's and ate there about once a week. it was always very consistently good. i drop in now when i am in town.

Access now is a little tricky that they improved us 19 - but even if you have to make 3 U-turns it is worth finding and getting too. The staff is great - same faces - every time I go - and have been going for years. I really like the bakery basket served - the coffee is always good as is the food. Good portions your not gonna leave this place hungry. Sometimes - especially on Sundays there is a wait. Some people may complain they had to wait. HA! Go to a place with no customers and no wait and you will find out why soon enough. But I will agree / suggest they need a bigger and better location.

Lenny's is one of the best spots in Pinellas for a traditional breakfast.  Huge portions not to mention everyone that orders breakfast gets a pastry basket.  They even bring you bags to take home the leftover pastries when you're finished.  Seasoned staff keeps the place running smoothly in busiest of times.  Reminds me of being back home in PA or NY.  If you're in Clearwater I definitely suggest grabbing breakfast here at least once.

Fantastic authentic NY style deli that fits right into Clearwater. I can't believe I haven't been coming here my whole life (and my parents are from NYC!) It has become an instant family favorite since discovering it last year.

With tchotchkes as far as the eye can see and sassy waitresses, this place is always buzzing.

Breakfast: complimentary pasty basket is amazing. Dishes are hearty and blend southern food with Jewish sensibility.

Lunch: great sandwiches, condiment tray with assortment of pickled tomatoes and pickles.

Wait can be a pain around brunch-time, but I can't bring myself to ding them for it! It's just too darn good!

What is it with New Yorkers and Florida?  New Yorkers retire, they get old, they retire.  And they must MUST have their food brought with them.

Thank you Lennys.

Lennys is your stereotypical perfect breakfast dinner. The portions are huge, the foods are delicious, and its all around perfect.  The breakfast is served fast with the nice New York attitude.  Danishes are served first followed by your main courses.  The omelets are huge and fluffy.  The pancakes to die for and the bread is buttered to perfection.

The decor is ridiculous but funny.  The signs are hilarious, the walls are covered in hannakah decorations during the holiday season, and the ceiling tiles are filled with wonderful one liners.  And the pictures of the Lenny's family is lovely.

If you're a New Yorker who needs a little New York food with a touch of New York tude while spending your time in Tampa, heading to Lenny's is a must.

Disclaimer- I have been going to Lenny's since I was like 4, and am family friends w. the owners.

That being said, it has no reflection on the fact that a trip home to FL is not complete unless I get brunch at Lenny's. They do Jewish style deli right!

The portions are HUGE!! It is a little up there in price, but totally worth it for the amount and quality of food they give you! I have so many favorites at Lenny's, I don't even know where to start. You really can't go wrong.

Make sure to get an order of kitchen sink fries. It is home fries, grilled crispy w/ grilled onions, jalapeos, tomatoes, cheese sauce, and some other incredibly delicious things thrown in....sorry...had to wipe the drool off my chin.

The one star deduction is for smelling like food when you leave. Oh yeah, and there is almost always a pretty decent wait for a table.

Best Breakfast in Clearwater. I had been going here for 11 years before I became a local. I had been dieting when I first came here. Scrambled eggs, fresh tomatoes, and a toasted bagel started my day off in spades. Since then, and I'm at the same weight as I was then, I've tasted other things on the menu from the rest of my family's plates! :) It's all great. Saturdays are an experience. With a great balloon guy who will celebrate all of your occasions with the rest of the patronage, this place is a circus, and you will have to get on a list to get in....but it's worth it! The serve staff is one of the best in the area and are always friendly! You like NY deli style? This is the place and more. Be sure to look up and read the ceiling signs! ;) Oh, it does boast "Home of the World Champion Philladelphia Phillies" now. It is a block away from Bright House Field, the Spring Home of the Phillies.

Good place to go if you're in the mood for some heavy breakfast.  Family owned and operated staple that is definitely in touch w/ the locals.  Friendly wait staff and funny decor.  Magician there on weekends for little and big kids alike, doing mostly various balloon hats/ contortions  :)  Food has a jewish flare and I would recommend ordering any of the meats, omelets, or raisin bread french toast.  Large portions with tons of sides and their yummy danish basket while you wait for the food. Order the LARGE glass of OJ to wash it all down with.
