Our group went to Lemon Grass for lunch during a conference in Fairbanks. The food was phenomenal.
I live in a large city with dozens of Thai restaurants, and not one here is as good at Lemon Grass. Maybe it was just the dish I ordered, or the quick service, but if every Thai restaurant was as good as this one I would eat a lot more Thai. -
Review from Paul T.
I had dinner at Lemon Grass last night on the recommendation of a local resident. I ordered the red curry (Kaeng Ped) with beef, bamboo shoots, zucchini, and basil. The beef wasn't as tender as I would prefer, but didn't detract from the dish to the point that I wouldn't order it again. The zucchini was a pleasant departure from the mainstream use of bell peppers. Overall the curry was very flavorful, without being overpowering.
A casual, family atmosphere with fast, and friendly service.
They are solidly deserving of 3.5 stars. However, I subtracted a 1/2 star because they don't serve alcohol. -

This is my go-to for Thai in Fairbanks. I always order the yellow curry which is delicious every time, and sooo filling. I promise to branch out and sample other things on their menu, which I'm sure are amazing. I've never been with anyone who complained about their food. It's actually a decent sized place too, with many tables - but I usually do takeout. They are a bit on the pricier side, but you're paying for really delicious food. They're closed from 4-5 which is when they switch from Lunch to Dinner.

I love thai food and have eaten them everywhere when I get a chance on vacation or at home, but not in Thailand.. But I must say this is one of the tastiest thai food and we had shrimp pad thai, w/big prawns.. And halibut with red curry,it was very good, it was named something chee?
And you gotta have thai ice tea...yummy... Especially hard to find asian food in most of Alaska... -

Ordered red curry, a thai tea, and fresh rolls. The red curry was really flavorful, thick, and yummy and the thai tea was perfect- not too sweet. The fresh rolls however were way different than any other thai place I've been to and not necessarily in a good way. They tasted too strong of mint and the rice paper was really thick. Took one bite and didn't eat anymore, kind of a waste of 7$. Overall it was pretty tasty and had a nice atmosphere

My favorite Thai restaurant in Fairbanks.. which now has 8 or 9 Thai restaurants. Better than any of the other places I've tried in my travels too. I'm pretty sure you have to go to Thailand to beat it.
The only thing missing here is beer... but they are cool with BYOB. -

Visited there every night during my recent Fairbanks visit. Great vegetarian and seafood, spicy and mild.

Love Thai food at Lemon Grass. They use local grown when in season. You can't go wrong with any of the curries!

Simply the best Thai I've ever had. I have still not found a yellow curry with chicken that compares to what Lemon Grass offers.
My wife says their panang with pork is to die for as well.
Worth the trip to Fairbanks, Alaska just to go here! -

Love it here, the veggies are Alaskan home grown in the summer and I love that they support local! Mustamun is yummy and their pad thai is superb. Check em out if you need your thai fix!

Great Thai food though it could be spicier. Some of the curries taste too salty. The specials with local veggies have been great. Maybe the best Thai restaurant in Fairbanks.

my husband and i ate lunch here. we didn't think that it was the best ever, however, it was pretty good. the veggies were good and there are a lot of vegetarian choices. it probably is the best thai in alaska, most definitely the best in fairbanks.
