Leilehua Golf Course
2 reviews for Leilehua Golf Course
8/31/08: Played on Sunday of Labor Day weekend, not as crowded and I had expected. Co-worker (who has military affilications) made reservations about one week in advance. It was pouring in town as I headed out to the course, luckily when we arrived, the rain didn't make it out towards the H-2 valley. Check-in was quick ($42 for locals including cart) and we started on time - I like military courses for this simple reason. Most of the course was lined with mature deciduous trees, I don't think there was one palm tree on the course. Flat most areas, and probably quite challenging when windy (course is a tad longer than most places). The course was well maintained overall and greens weren't hacked to death. If Klipper (at Kanoehe Marine Base) didn't have those three holes next to the ocean, this would be my favorite course.
US Army Golf course open to the public. Walking $32, $44 w/cart for non-resident. Well maintained and wasn't crowded at a all for a friday morning. Kinda flat and straight but somewhat challenging.
