I am so excited to have found Dr. Robert's. She is thorough, kind and professional. I left feeling validated and cared for. I have had some pretty shady doctors in Chicago, and am relieved to find someone who is compassionate and appears to have a feminist agenda. but that may just be hopeful thinking.

I've gone to Dr. Roberts twice now - She's thorough, really takes time to listen to her patients and doesn't push unnecessary tests/medications. All treatment options are a conversation - never "I'm the doctor, I know more than you, take this medication because I say so, end of story." She's always quick to point out that my treatment plan is in my hands, and ultimately it's about what works best for me. She doesn't rush you out the door and has spent the most time with me out of any doctor I've had.

Also their waiting room is amazing - I always wish the wait time could be longer just because it's so relaxing out there and they have great coffee table books! Sadly...it's never been over 5 minutes. :)

What's the worst thing about going to the doctor (other than being sick)? The waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting some more.

I recently went to Dr. Roberts for the first time and did. not. wait. at. all! Seriously! It was amazing. The receptionist was friendly and gave me ONE brief form to fill out. All of the rest is digital (yay for eco-friendliness!).  The receptionist/nurse checked me in and took my stats and told me the dr would be right in. I opened my book and didn't even finish one sentence before Dr. Roberts came in to see me.

Initially I found her a bit off-putting, but we warmed up to each other. She took the time to explain things to me and answer my questions fully and really listen to my complaints and issues. She seemed genuinely concerned about my health and well-being and was not one who was quick to just write a Rx to shut me up.

Oh, and you get to wear spa-quality bathrobes for your exams!  Other bonuses: open on Saturdays, you can make appts online, free lollipops on your way out!

Dr. Roberts made me want to cry. I have never been treated so horribly by a medical professional. I came in after experiencing headaches and dizzy-spells and recently fainting. BEFORE EVEN TALKING TO ME OR LOOKING AT ME  she said "well, there is most likely nothing wrong with you, is there some made-up fantasy disease that I should know about?" She then proceeded to ask me rushed questions for about 3 minutes, looked in my ears and told me to take Tylenol. I was so overwhelmed by her unprofessional conduct and blatant meanness I could not even gather my thoughts. I was already scared and in a vulnerable place and to be treated like I was an idiot for coming in was completely unacceptable. What kind of doctor does that, seriously?

She totally connected with me and just after one session with her, I realize I really want her to be my PCP. However, I am having issues with the staff. They are inconsistent in handling my documents. They lost the forms I filled out and now I have to start fresh. It's a little frustrating.

    HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Both my dad and I have been seeing Dr. Roberts for some time now, and she's been great.  She takes a lot of time to listen to her patients and give broad-ranging advice.  She's very friendly and personable, as is her staff.

Finally, for those of you who don't like waiting at the doctor's office, you'll feel perfectly at ease in the waiting room here.  The ambiance is extremely nice, and you'll never feel flooded with paperwork before you go in.

I didn't see Dr. Roberts, but her NP, Amy, who was wonderful.  It was probably the best treatment I've had in Chicago - no wait, comfortable setting, very sweet receptionists who WANT to help you get in and out faster, and a fast visit overall, which it should be.

Amy was very sweet and easy to talk to, and lets you know what is going on at all times.  She offered me a robe and made everything as comfortable as possible.  I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a yearly exam, and I'm sure Dr. Roberts is fantastic, too.

i flipping love dr. roberts. she's been my doctor since i've moved to chicago, but is easily, hands-down the best doctor i've dealt with since i've moved into the "real world". but i'm jumping the gun- i should mention first that everything about the operations of the office are top-notch. her office and staff are wonderful. incredibly inviting, friendly, warm, everything you'd want when going to the doctor. i've never felt nervous, rushed or uncomfortable there. appointments are easy to schedule- and i see that now they accept saturday appointments- awesome!

the doctor herself is great. she's very easy to talk to and i truly feel like she genuinely cares about her patients. she's my pcp & gyn, which is nice to not have to deal w/a referral on a HMO. nobody loves visiting the doctor, but if you have to, id defintiely recommend dr. roberts. she's great at what she does and is honest regarding your concerns. i've referred 3 friends to her and they love her.

I have been going to Dr. Leigh Roberts as my general practitioner and as my obgyn and she is fabulous! She makes everyone feel welcome and she is really laid back. She really listens to you. Her lobby area is so relaxing and feels more like your own living room than a doctors office. Instead of putting on a paper gown (cringe) she gives you a soft, cozy robe to put on as well! To be more personal, she takes a photo of everyone to put in their files. She wants to put a face to every name! This is a wonderful office and terrific service! I FINALLY found my doctor!!!

Dr. Roberts is also my PCP and GYN, so you can kill two birds with one stone.  Very comfortable and inviting office.  You can have some tea and there is some aromatherapy going on.  Daisy, the office manager is very wonderful to work with.  Dr. Roberts is very likeable and I really feel like my doctor is listening to me.  I already referred my best friend.
