I guess I'm the resident strip club reviewer on Yelp these days. You don't get the Elite tag for free, ya know.
Don't go here. Every strip club stereotype one can envision makes its home here.
In the beautiful stretch of real estate along Michigan Ave, past some abandoned pawn shops, right across from the finest trailer parks this side of the Mississippi, sits Leggs. A definite dive, not in an endearing way. I believe cover is $10, and the finest selection of domestic beers (Corona, MGD, Bud) cost about $8 a piece.
The stage is in the middle of the room, across from the bar. I was in on a Sunday and I believe they said there were five girls working. I saw three the entire half hour I was there. It's a topless club, but the dancers wear pasties (or sometimes duct tape) to cover the Nipples n' Bits due to local law.
Past the stage on a raised platform, sits the DJ and the dance room. Apparently it costs another $15 to gain entry to the dance area, which is ridiculous considering the dance area is comprised of some worn down benches and some broken tile. Unfortunately, I can't rate the dances since I wasn't coming off of another $15 to get dances from one of the three uninterested dances in the shadiest of all shady rooms. After finishing my dollar-an-ounce Corona, I hightailed it out of the general vicinity.
