I haven't been to Legends in awhile but have been thinking about going back hopefully soon enough. Maybe I will do one of magic tricks and just appear at my old friends door steps.
Tommy and his crazy 2 sided shears works magic. I was nervous as heck when Tommy pulled out his 2 sided shears... I dunno what its exactly called... but I was like urgh, I would like my head attached to my neck... 20 mins later Tommy worked magic on my hair. I can still remember how good I felt when I walked out his salon. Tommy and Tanya are great people! You would be missing out if you haven't let Tommy work his shears on you. I am beginning to get bored of my loooooooooooooooong hair... so soon enough... I will appear at their door steps. :-)
I have curly hair and usually keep it short, so I always have to straighten it using a flat iron. I recently did the new japanese hair straightening with Tommy and was pleased with the results. It's not supposed to make your hair super straight like the chinese one I did a few years ago. I can still style my hair to curve it or give it volume. This method also won't dry out your hair. I guess there is 3 levels of straightening, and since I didn't have any hair color on my hair I got the strongest one. It needs more maintenance now, since it's been 7 weeks... My roots kinda go up and then the rest of the hair falls flat. But omg! I don't have to worry about my hair getting all curly or frizzy when I go clubbing or when it rains, or when I go to SF.

Do you see this hair???? No one has touched it for the past 4 years except Tu Tham! She knows what she is doing and has never messed it up. I also love going in and gossiping with her! She is the loud Vietnamese mother I never had (She's not a day over 30 but you know what I'm say'n). She will tell you how it is. I love this place!!!!
Every woman in my family has gone to Tommy at some point. He's great, really listens, and is fair with his prices.
Tommy is fantastic. He gives great advice on what is good for your hair. He recommended a Eufora conditioner to me, and since I've used it, my hair has been much healthier. He is professional, and the best at what he does.
Tommy does exactly what you ask for, and has never disappointed.
