1. Open until 11 on weeknights, great for a late dinner.
2. The food is GOOD, and often comes with things you don't expect, like coleslaw, or pickles.
3.  You could eat there every night for 2 weeks, and never eat the same thing twice.
4.  I've never paid more than $10 for a very filling meal.
5.  It's only 2 blocks from my house.

Each of these reasons earns Legends a star from me.

I went here with my coworker, who, once again, steered me in the wrong direction in terms of a lunch place.

Okay, don't get me wrong. The food (Greek) was pretty much standard fare. I had a gyro and it was hearty, with lots o' meat. Too much. The thing was so heavy I had to use a fork, so I couldn't really get the essence of the sandwich. Also, they went tooooooooooooooo heavy on the sauce so it was a gloppy mess. But the flavor was okay.

My main complaints are with the look of the place and the weird set up. They have tables but the tables really only seat one or two people at a time, and there's only four of them. It's basically a food stand that's trying to have "sit down" and there's not enough room.

Also, the prices aren't great. Just for a sandwich and can of diet coke it was like $8. I'd go to Chipotle or some chain place over this hole in the wall any day.

i'm somewhat of a loyal fan because it's the closest place to my work that serves hot food. the staff is great.

i'm not saying the food is exquisite or that the decor is top notch.

i'm just saying, they are there when i need them. and they have cheap specials everyday.

leave me alone, i eat here ok!

Another great place to have a very good lunch or dinner, Legends offers its guest reasonably priced Greek food that is tasty, wonderful and worth the value.  I love all of their offerings, since I have had the pleasure of sampling many of their menu items over the years.  Please be sure to ask what the "special of the day" is because it is usually something scrumptious.  3.5 stars:-)!!

Legends is one of those mom-and-pop shops that everyone longs to find in their neck of the woods.  If you're in Dupont, you're in luck.  They have your typical Greek food, kabobs and falafel, as well as burgers and fries.  I've always opted for the hummus platter, which comes with pita and fresh vegetables lightly covered in an italian-dressing like sauce, all for 6 bucks.  Incredibly satisfying and healthy.  I'd definitely recommend it.

Hot filling Greek style meals all at reasonable prices. Each day has its "Special of the Day." They also provide catering service and delivery.
Good people and good food.
