Review from Evan G.
So, I spent the morning hugging redwoods with my friend, and when we get back in the car, we make our way slowly around a curve and - boom - here's a giant land of carved things. Naturally, we stopped to take pictures. OK, and, I saw two cute guys who'd also stopped, so that added motivation to park the car and dawdle somewhere near them.
"Legend" is an outdoor collection of giant (redwood?) carvings (I had my photo taken with a larger-than-life-size lumberjack, naturally) and gift shop. The spot provides a tourist trap oasis amidst some of the most amazing nature in the world. Worth the stop and the laugh. It's great. -

So there I am, just sitting in the passenger seat of a friends mothers car ,coming back from some of the most amazing woodland scenes any man, or woman, would love to spend 10 days in.
On said return trip, we rounded the corner and came across this place. This is a must see if your any where around here. There carvings are killer and look great. The prices range from 20 or so too 1,000.00's for the big foot and other piece's. There's a stage where I guess shows for the kids are put on and an area where you can mess around and be a kid for abit. Yea I did crawl into the tree house. There's even a lil kitchen there too..
The inside store has lots to look at and buy. There prices are cool, for being out in the middle of really no where, but the stuff is nice and " oakie " enough to spend 10 bucks on. Enjoy this stop with the kids and grab a souvenir or two. -

It's a roadside stop with tons of wood carvings and a gift shop. Pretty self explanatory. Kodak moments galore. I didn't go into the giftshop but I'd wager it's pretty overpriced. Think about it. If you lived in bumblehump middle of nowhere, what would -you- do with your time? If you answered "Carve giant bigfoot statues", you're probably not too far off.
That and smoke lots of weed and drink yourself to oblivion.Listed in: Silly Me, Northern California Backroads

I love all roadside attractions, but this one is pretty disappointing. There are some good photo props, like some little troll statues and a huge wooden carved bigfoot. It is mainly a gift shop with a lot of wooden chainsaw carvings.

Fun and funky. Great to stop with the kids. Prices a little high, but entertaining. Lots of redwood carvings.
