I have to admit, me being new to Boston, I had already managed to eat at Legal Sea Foods before coming here, and when I saw this in my view, I thought, wow, that sounds an awful like that Legal Seafood place I just ate at, but it is a test kitchen?? Made me kind of nervous...I don't like being a guinea pig for just anyone...especially when food is involved!!

BUT to my surprise, their beers on tap are only $5.25 each and for as classy as this place is on the inside, I was shocked it was that cheap! Granted the special frozen lemonade drink was $9.99 so that kinda made up for it

Want to know something else? FRIED PICKLE CHIPS for $2! And that is the price all the time! And they are good! You have to ask for a dipping sauce and they don't have ranch here (I know, travesty right???) but their chipotle one is a pretty good second choice!  And their rosemary fries for $3.95, listed as a side, are big enough to be a meal!! Jenni and I couldn't even finish it!

And put all of those carbs with the carbs in the free bread that comes warm to the bar with this pretty darn tasty bean dip. All in all I am a fan of being a guinea pig here!

I've been here a few times before on flights to/from Logan with pleasant results, but very dissapointed this trip. Arrived early enough to order from the breakfast menu. French Toast w a side of Bacon. Both were clearly prepared ahead of time and warmed (barely) before being brought to the table. If this is a test menu item, I don't see how LTK can charge premium prices for below average food.

On a positive note, the service was very good as well as the iced tea. Possibly Breakfast food is not something they specialize in, but then why have it on an LTK menu if minimal effort is going to be put into creating the meal.

i got in on a late flight so this was really the only place in the area that was open for dinner.  our hands were forced, so we gave it a whirl and were mostly underwhelmed.  the food was oversauced and not very flavorful.  and the whole decor was prohibitively hip, which showed up in the pricing as well.  the whole enterprise gave off this unmistakable vibe of trying too hard...and failing.
