    I've been diagnosed with two (count them: two!) herniated disks in my lower back. After years of procrastination, I asked Zô to help me strengthen my "core" muscles to help support those rotten disks. Within weeks I noticed a difference in my ability to sit, bend, and walk without being easily fatigued. My stamina has increased. I'm getting stronger and feel great...! Thanks, Zô...!

    Last year, I never thought I had time to work-out 3 times a week. I don't like the gym. I'm a working mom with a toddler. I work late nights and some weekends, and take a class once a week. Like everyone, I'm busy.

    Somehow, Zo found a way to get exercise back into my life.

    He comes to my house in Berkeley about twice a week and I've quickly seen great results. I spend less time in the gym, too, because I work out more efficiently. I actually look forward to my gym days now! After our first few sessions, I really noticed I felt better because I was using my core, felt stronger and had more energy.

    Zo is married to my cousin and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is tired of wasting money on the gym, not seeing the right results, or who needs an encouraging friend to help you get in shape.

    I have an extremely busy schedule with my business and wasn't able to exercise as much as I needed.  Parts of my body were experiencing pain (particularly my hip from many years of playing tennis) and I feft as though I was physically going done hill fast.  At times my hip hurt so bad that I thought I might need a hip replacement.

    I never had a personal trainer and I thought that hiring one would help me be more consistent with my workouts and put me back on the road to feeling better.  Hiring Zo of Left Coast Fitness has been one of the best decisions I have made in recent years.

    Zo has been my fitness trainer for the last six months and I can't stress enough how big a positive difference he has made in my life.  I can now walk and run around with no hip pain and am optimistic of my future health .  When I go to the gym on my own, I know what I's supposed to do becuase Zo has given my a written plan to follow.

    So,  I highly recommend Zo for your physical fitness needs.

    I first heard about Zo, and his personal training program, from a patient of mine and from their description, I knew I had to meet with him.  I am a chiropractor in the area, and was looking for a personal trainer to refer my patients to.

    Upon our first meeting, he was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I knew right away that many of my patients would benefit from his program and I was interested in a "jump-start" to my exercise regime myself! I signed up for some sessions with him and on our first workout session, I was highly impressed! Not only did he whip me back into shape, but with his background knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, he knew exactly what I needed. He was able to notice discrepancies with any muscle imbalances I had and was very attentive if any exercise aggravated my low back and would be quick to change it as needed.  I also would like to add that working out with Zo is never the same at each session. He brings in kettlebells, ropes, yoga balls, sandbags, weight vests, and so much more to make each workout fun!

    I highly recommend Zo if you are looking for a way to get back in shape and have a healthy heart. He is highly experienced and I recommend him to all of my patients that are looking for a personal trainer.

    Better hurry and sign up...he is that good!

    I love working out with Zo! He is professional, knowledgable, and thoughtful. He is very hands on and has many different exercises that keep you focused and involved. I feel stronger and have trimmed down in size since working with him. If you want to make a change and get healthier, call Zo!

    I hadn't worked out regularly in a long time; I had just started yoga, and wanted some personal coaching on that.  I also wanted to see my options for working out at home, since I wanted to train in the evenings but not deal with the crowds at a gym.  As a long time martial artist, I also had specific needs in terms of old injuries that had eluded proper diagnosis for a long time.

    I found Zo to be extremely knowledgeable and great to work with.  He is engaging, funny, clearly interested in helping me get the best results I want, and he really knows his stuff.  I now have a regular training routine at home that is a mix of yoga and strength training geared specifically for me.  He gave me enough knowledge that I know what to look for as I adjust my workouts over the coming months, based on my overall fitness goals.  His extensive knowledge of yoga, weight training, and even meditation has proven invaluable in getting solid advice and tips on everything from down dog to proper form to the best overall priorities for my body to how to sit properly in zazen.

    I very highly recommend Zo.  I look forward to a few more sessions with him in a few months, once I'm ready to alter the direction of my training and take it to the next level.

    I met Zo through a business group. I heard him say "real fitness for real people." So I told him this real person won't join a gym, doesn't have room for big equipment, doesn't want to spend a lot on small equipment, but knows she needs to start doing more strength training and cardio work. I challenged him to help me develop a habit of working out effectively in my home.

    Zo was great. I gave him about a month to get me into a program that I could keep up. He came to my apartment twice a week and assessed me, guided me, taught me a lot of exercises and how to do them right and how to enhance them once they got easy for me. It was fun and varied and best of all, I now look forward to doing my own workouts, at home, at times of day that work for me. Zo came through with flying colors. He left me with print-outs that I even took with me on a trip. Zo is solid, caring, organized, does his homework and really wants to get you where you want to be. And he does.

    Training with Zo has literally changed my life. After years of trying a
    variety of exercise programs (and never sticking with them), I realized that I need very personalized, one-on-one training.  I didn't think I could afford a personal trainer, but Zo's pricing is very reasonable and I believe it is the best "investment" I will ever make.  Working out in my home saves me valuable time and it eliminates the self-consciousness that I've experienced in gyms and other group settings. The variety, energy and personalized attention that Zo brings to every workout
    make it a true pleasure to train with him.  The workouts are challenging and Zo sets high expectations, but the results are dramatic and
    rewarding.  Changing my body and improving my health have never been
    easier, thanks to Zo!
