This has got to be the quintessential strip-mall chinese food joint, right down to the placemats with an explanation of your birth-year animal.

Satisfies the basics, nothing more or less.

I live right down the road from the plaza in which Lee Yuan resides. While this doesn't compare to being downtown, I still have a number of excellent restaurant options less than a mile from my house.

Lee Yuan is one of my less-frequented places, but is still a fine restaurant. The dining room can get kind of cramped, so I like to get takeout here. I really like the General Tso's Chicken.

when i lived in that area of boulder, this was my restaurant to go to when i need a hit of chinese food. never had any problems with dining or take-out and the employees were also friendly.  try it if you're ever near by.
