If there were 3 words to describe this team, it would be; professional, punctual and creative. I was in the midst of planning an elaborate 26th birthday--complete with an MC, DJ, singers, dancers, rappers and even a hypnotherapist, color themes and a dress code--when a friend of mine referred Lee Studio Productions to videograph the whole event. In the beginning, I was a little skeptical since it wasn't in my agenda to begin with, but the more I pondered about it, the more I wanted this to be a memorable event to be remembered for years to come. So, I checked out their website/blog and was just amazed by their work. I contacted them almost immediately and was able to set up a meeting with the team @ a local coffee shop by my home. They greeted me with a handshake and we went on with the meeting. They explained to me who they are and what they do and what types of packages they are able to offer me. As a girl who knows nothing about videography, there were a lot of "technical terms" that came up during our conversation that I didn't recognize. LSP was patient with me and explained everything step by step so that I can get a better picture.

After our meeting, I decided to hire Ed, Wilson and Ray to videograph "The 10th Anniversary of Michell's Sweet 16" (that's what I named the evening!). On the day of my birthday, they arrived to the venue 2 hours prior to my arrival! They wanted to familiarize themselves with the environment--lighting, people, backgrounds, etc. They were very thorough with the ins and outs throughout the evening and even  captured details that I'd omitted or forgotten. Another BIG PLUS, they even wore colors within my theme AND dress code! =) To me, that is very respectful and considerate of them to do.

After the event, they gave me a time line for the finished product--an estimated date for the completion of the rough draft and a later date upon the completion of the project. They were punctual on both dates and when I received the DVD, I was delighted by the photo collage of family and friends that they've personalized for me. Even the music in the DVD was personalized for me! "Michelle" by the Beatles ;)

All in all, I am 100% satisfied and will be referring them to families and friends for all upcoming events!

Lee Studio was referred to me and what a find it was!  Ray and his partner came over to our house to talk about the process, what they will be taking care of and what they need from us.  They also brought along samples of their work, which my husband and I really enjoyed.  The both of them came off as bright, enthusiastic and genuinely wanting to capture your special day perfectly.

On the day of our wedding, Ray was at our place bright and early, along with our photographer.  He was able to work in conjunction with our photographer, to capture what they both needed, without being in our way.  On the day of our wedding, there was so much to be done and so little time, so that was much appreciated.

Ray came along to our outdoor photo shoot and again, collaborated with our photographer seamlessly.  Throughout our ceremony and reception, he was everywhere.  it was just so easy to work with Ray.  Shortly after our wedding date, Ray and his partner came over again to show me a part of what they had thus far.  I was very pleased with their work and the quality was beyond what I had expected.

After just a few weeks, Ray emailed to let me know that our video was ready.  We were so excited to see it!  The first time we watched it, we couldn't stop laughing.  Our wedding was quite comical and Ray's video did such a great job of showcasing that mood.  Since then, we've had friends and family comment on that as well.  The quality of the video, along with the quality of the sound (my husband is an audiophile) was above and beyond what we expected as well.

We've heard so many horror stories from other couples about their wedding vendors that we were skeptical in the beginning.  But Ray and his team were so easy to work with, always on time and delivered exactly what they promised us and more.

When we have our 5 or 10 year anniversary, I would love to have Ray and his team help us again.  Thank you guys, for being a part of our special day and making such an unforgettable event last a lifetime for us!

Ray wasable to be the videographer at my mom's 50th birthday celebration in SSF.  He was very nice and professional.  He wanted to make sure he was capturing the moments that would make the final dvd fun and memorable.  The resulting dvd was of very high quality and the shots taken were very nice.  He was able to go to each table and have everyone say hi and take some artsy shots of the food/venue/guests as well.  All in all, I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone because they are professional, polite, and willing to work within your budget (I ended up getting an unedited/raw footage version) and the end product is something you will surely enjoy!

I'd consider their regular pricing as similar to what other videographers are going for so why should you choose these guys? Ray is very personable and interested in being as involved or as little involved as you want him to be in the videographing.  He didn't get in the way of the performances but was still able to capture a nice angle. Hard to describe. haha. I was scared that the sound would be kind of horrible since it was all raw unedited footage and we had some singers/dancing going on, but the music didn't sound all static-y or muted like regular camcorders do.  I was impressed. =)
